When we are talking about gambling on real life then those lesson we do learned on gambling do really helps us more to be a better person because on that way we do know already to control our selves not only on emotions but also on money handling not on gambling but on real life situation. Losing money is always the thing comes to our mind when we do play gambling and its normal but there are some advantages that it gives not on financial but on the lesson that it gives.

There are a lot of people saying that they will not be addicted to gambling but, they did just after a few times that they bet their money especially when they are winning and having a lot of profit or earnings. If you bet, for example you won a .02 btc, you think you will be having an idea to stop when you think you can earn more.

if i won a 0.02 btc, i will stop the game and leave the place because i don't want to lose that 0.02 btc in just one roll. i know it looks like impossible to me to win 0.02 btc but if i have a good luck, then i am sure i can win that amount. but unfortunately i am still afraid to place big bets and only use small satoshi because i know that playing gambling can not help my life at all.

This is the very simple logic to understand that gamble is not just like a game that we could easy money, because there is no such thing, especially if the one that we are doing is something like this, I mean gambling was made to make a living (I'm pertaining about the owner) because they are not going to launch a gambling in the first place if it is easy for someone to make money out of it, it is all about trial and error.

If you know that you are not winning for a couple of tries, or maybe a hundred times already and you are just keep on losing most of the time, then it just means that you should quit it before it ruined your life completely.

At some point gambling can teach you a lot of things in life, especially in terms of handling money, taking risks, decision making and failures.

Handling Money, Gambling could really make waste a lot of your money when you are just a beginner. Let's accept it we don't accept defeats and we don't care about how much money we spend until we are satisfied. But sooner or later as we grow and become mature in the industry we will now learn how to value money.

Taking Risks and Decision Making, Gambling could push to us our limits. To the point that we don't know what to do. In gambling we could enhance our decision making, our mind do process all the possibilities or outcome of what might happen. A long with it is taking risks, gambling is could make your foundation strong. What I mean is that it can build your self esteem wherein you're now not afraid of taking possible risks to succeed.

Failures, In gambling we are winners and sometimes we are losers. We have ups and downs, but all of this failures are all lessons. This help us to prevent our mistakes in the future. Also, We can make this as a tool on where we can use it as stepping stone for a better future.

You're partly right with your idea mate, I believe that gambling doesn't help with your life with regards to financials sources, but somehow it do give us temporary happines while were on the midst of the activity. If we are not think of financial betting investments, we may not able to recognize the bad effect of it to our lives; whether it helps up or not and all we know is just the fun over it. This brought us bad feelings out of being unlucky on your bets and seldom you feel better if you won luckily.

That's all it has to offer to be honest, that temporary rush in dopamine in your brain and the feeling of elated that you have especially when you win, that's probably what you're going to feel only. It wouldn't give you other things just experience with gambling probably you can become pro practicing that.
