Before you trade with members check their trust rating, that will tell you a lot about someone. You can also check scam accusation section, there you can see topics about possible scammers. Except that you can always use escrow and that will protect you 100 %, there is no chance someone will trade and scam you while you have founds in escrow.
Don't even think about doing business without it, protect yourself like this and you will not have any problems.

I think you can manage the situation of transactions that can save you from becoming fraud.
- Do not ever try to do business with people who are not trusted and are not known in the trade industry.
- Try to dig their account history: trust, posting history and what the user has done.

good point for this and i should remember this for my own self. better we do trading with ourself rather to work with other person that we don't know. beside that escrow is a must thing that we should thinking before we make any transaction with every person so at least we can avoid the bad thing that will happen.

You dont need to be scam because you are already a scammer. So this means you could able to scam yourself . hehe. Back to topic if you recieve messages from people who you dont know then you can simply disregard it and it wont bother you again for sure. They just like to get your attention to gain interactions and when you bite up then chances of getting scammed is high.

In trying to avoid scammers by using escrow, one is not totally free, because an escrow without reputation can also scam. What I think is the best way to avoid getting scammed is to put one's greed on check, because that is what scammers capitalized on. When a deal is looking too good to be true, there is no need trying to confirm if it true or not, money does not grow on trees.

always use escrow for your transaction this is important thing, especially if you transaction with new account, but truly in online world like this you should not to try make a deal with strenght people without escrow

To be safe from scammers always have an escrow everytime you have something to buy or trade from a person. Never go first because you can't say whether he is trusted or a scammer. IF he don't agree for an escrow then don't trust that person and find someone who will agree to escrow.

I doubt that many people here on the forum will want to do a face to face trade since most people here want to have a certain degree of anonymity and will not like their accounts to be linked to them.

Assume that everyone is a scammer at first. Always use escrow(and by escrow I mean one of the legit escrows that have a proven track record, and multisig is preferable). Ranks don't matter as much as trust in my opinion. Full member and senior member accounts are bought and sold everyday on this forum so you better watch out and be careful.

Use escrow every time you gonna make a transaction to anyone first check if there's an positive of the user so that you could see if his legit or not. Escrow can be a help or a disaster too the first thing i have learned during transacting online is that there is no such thing that guarante safe. Even using escrow is not safe because when the time comes in need where money can blind a person's humanity there comes a disaster to people trust him.

To escape from scammers? I guess it is not that easy to look if the one you are talking to is a scammer or not, there we are lots of people trying to persuade others especially if they knew that people are in need like taking advantage to those who are in need.
But I guess here, in this industry you better be wise on whom you trust especially when you are sending bitcoin to the one you do not know, think so many times before making moves, it might lose you most, avoid the newbie as other posted, you better look at their trust rate it might help you, use escrow if you want to be paid by others for good transactions.
The best RULE for yourself here is: THINK MANY TIMES, TRUST LESS.
