I don’t think that every person who is aware of gambling addiction and how gambling is working can avoid that addiction, sometimes it is the quite opposite when it comes to a smart person who is very aware of all the casino games and the possibilities of winning, but due to his addictive character and not only chasing some wins, he go through a gambling addiction because of that euphoric or adrenaline rush he feels on every bet and risk he takes.
Every licensed casino has signs and warning about the risks of gambling, some casinos they even provide their gamblers with educational videos about gambling, how to gamble in moderation and responsibly. However, this is not enough to prevent people from going into addiction, the same thing goes to cigarettes, alcoholism and drugs addiction, we are all aware of it but many of us fall into one of these things once or twice in our lives.
and the important processes that must be known when you have already moved towards addiction must also be known by gamblers. I agree that some gamblers know what is happening in the activities we do. To get out of gambling addiction, to be honest, it is very difficult if you rely on self-awareness. Even though it can be done, it may not be done for a long time or it may not be consistent. we will still return to gambling in the end.
control and encouragement from other people are also important for us to get through this phase. to get out may be difficult and will meet resistance from our strong desires. What can be done is to put better controls in place and that will keep us gambling within good and responsible limits.

At least with good or bad experiences from other gamblers, we can learn how we can carry out gambling activities wisely and always be careful. Indeed, not all gamblers will easily continue to immediately take correct and appropriate actions based on what they have seen from the experiences of other gamblers, because basically every thought and understanding within a gambler is not the same and this is determined by each individual. . If the gambler is addicted then this is very difficult to accept and do, but if the gambler is still a regular person then I think there is a possibility that he can apply this to gambling.
Holding on to the experiences from other gamblers is a nice means of learning, not in gambling. As you said, it depends on the individual and how he can adapt to changes through experience. However, things could change along the line and gamblers who are in trouble will learn to seek for help. When a player is in need of our assistance, not financially but emotionally it's our duty to take them to a better place where treatment would commence. I'd prefer running something like a first aid to see if it works.

Taking them on a different trip to a location where they wouldn't engage into gambling for a while. Or advise the person to hang out with old schools friends who could fix him into some other interesting emotional activities. Therapy would be a second choice after this and hopefully it'll work. Gambling is risky indeed, and not all gamblers are aware of the type of risk that's been talk about here. So, educating them on the risky factors like mental disorder, attached to gambling can help scare away the need for the player to go compulsive if he had that in mind.

Brutal, man. Even brilliant people can fall prey to addiction. Knowing the odds doesn't matter when your brain releases dopamine. Hell, knowing sometimes makes it worse, right? The game becomes 'can I outsmart the system?' Even in a losing game, the exhilaration is intoxicating. The key is confidence, not deluded overconfidence. Confidence understands its boundaries and when to go. It's "Yeah, I get the odds, but I also know I'm human and vulnerable."

This is the issue with casino "education" programs. To prevent gambling, you must address the root causes of the emptiness. Building strong communities and providing mental health resources is more important than telling people the house always wins

Yes I agree with this opinion, basically it is true that there are actually a lot of things that we can make an example to learn from, or that means we don't need to experience the downturn first to get better because of course as you said that by seeing the downturn that has been experienced by others, it is enough to tell us that it is really not recommended to treat gambling in the wrong way or tend to be excessive.

That's right, basically if we have good sensitivity from the bad experiences that have been experienced by other gamblers, we will use it as useful learning for us so that as far as possible we don't do or stay away from inappropriate behavior like what other gamblers have done. .
But in fact, sometimes we are still not aware of the bad experiences that have happened around us and we sometimes just think it is a normal thing, for whatever reason we are still wrong and we will really regret the careless actions that have occurred. we've already done it.
Therefore, start learning to understand correctly that gambling is very high risk and has a very bad impact on our lives, even the people closest to us will also feel it.

I have no problem with this. I like reading experiences of different gamblers because you are correct, it's a learning point for every beginner in gambling. If somehow we could imagine how it happened to those certain gamblers who are telling his story then we could use it as a weapon to either not repeat his mistake or follow it if something right was said.
That's why I use my time whenever I see a story being told by each gambler because there's somehow knowledge within it, either bad or good experience. Also, for me, it's better that I always think that I am a newbie in gambling, thinking like a professional will just get you to make mistakes because of an arrogant mentality.
Learn from the mistakes of others, gather information, and protect your money as always, don't bet blindly.

If a gambler is advised to follow someone else's gambling, the gambler does not take that advice because he thinks he knows gambling better himself. He doesn't want to learn from anyone else. Not all gamblers are the same, but most gamblers operate similarly. If the gambler could learn from other gamblers' losses or their mistakes and apply them to his own gambling, there would certainly be benefits. I have been aware of the behavior of some gamblers where gamblers initially ignore the advice of experienced gamblers and when they lose they regret not listening to the advice of those experienced gamblers. Gamblers should pay special attention to the negative aspects of gambling, especially how to avoid addiction. It is necessary to know how to manage gambling so that gambling does not affect his personal life.
One thing about gambling is that once you claim to know to much you'll end up making mistakes that would bring series of loses and sometimes would want to do everything possible to win again and if the mistake is not correct, the individual keeps using same strategies they would keep losing and with time get addicted to the gambling due to chasing loses. That's why it's good to seek advise from experienced gamblers often.

I've noticed that the individuals who gets addicted to gambling are new gamblers who tend to know it all, some feel because they're a fan to football or follow up support activities then they have the upper hand and would always make profits but that's not how it operates. You might have knowledge about sports activities but might to know how to interpret the odds of the bookies and end up picking wrong options.

They will only realize the mistake after they tried it themselves and experience losing their money. It's not easy to help other gamblers not to fall into addiction because it is still depends on their self control. Therefore, regardless of your effort and reminders when it comes to the do's and dont's in gambling, it's still up to these newbies if they will listen and apply what they learned.

With so many cases of bad impacts that have occurred, I think we can use it as a lesson, not even just from gambling. In my opinion, from various things of course we can take lessons from people who have experienced bad things, that way we can see what the impact is like if we gamble excessively, but of course every person is different, there are those who Regardless of this, they continue to gamble following their wishes to be able to get the win they want so that they don't care about the losses or losses that they experience more often.

for beginners who are just getting involved in gambling, maybe they will only think about winning and of course that is not true, therefore we as those who already have experience should be able to remind them by advising them not to be too obsessed with chasing winnings at gambling because that will only make them just in trouble.

Agree, by seeing and hearing the bad experiences that have occurred and been experienced by experienced gamblers, of course we can use this as a lesson for us in playing gambling, remaining consistent in maintaining good control and always being careful every time we take action or decisions.
And the attitude I have said above certainly applies to all groups of gamblers, both experienced and new. because we are both gamblers and we will equally feel the impact of risk in gambling.

And also in addition I think most people have often heard about various advice from many other people who always advise not to do things that can endanger themselves such as gambling with large budgets, or gambling without putting a time limit or gambling by putting excessive hopes on winning which in addition there are enough incidents that we can use as evidence when someone treats gambling in the wrong way, And yes it is true that this idea applies to all gamblers regardless of whether they are experienced or beginners because after all the casino will not see who you are, the point is that if you engage in gambling in the wrong way then most likely you will end up in a slump.

Some regard it as a get-rich-quick scam, which is wrong. Knowing the game and being in charge is key. Smart players and winners know gambling is fun. They manage time and money so it never becomes a problem. The psychology of it all is next. Gambling may be entertaining yet harmful. Many people, especially beginners, dont know the indicators or triggers. They miss addiction until its too late. We must educate to help people understand hazards and set limits. Gambling should be fun, not life-threatening. People, common sense is the winning way.
That's why people who wants to still playing gambling must knows how to treat gambling as an entertainment so they will not takes the wrong ways. That's important, especially for beginners who lack of knowledge and what is necessary before they playing gambling so they just playing gambling moderately. Many beginners who doesn't wants to learn about how to treats gambling as an entertainment gets the wrong ways because they use gambling to make money and that makes them becomes addicted to gambling. They don't knows that gambling can gives many problems to them but that will not makes them realizes about what happens to them. If no one warn them about the risks in playing gambling, they will gets the problems soon and the worst is they can becomes addicted to gambling.

The reason why people get addicted to gamble is not actually lack of awareness or understanding because you can't tell me they don't know the possible outcome or effect of being addicted to gambling, off cause they know. We know that what makes one to be an addict of something is frequently doing a particular thing, so I think frequently gambling will bring this emotions of wanting to gamble even when they don't have money, so in order not to be an addict stop gambling frequently is not healthy or advisable.
Morever, it's not only beginners that is an addict, if you check very the most addicted gamblers is not beginners and if I may ask why will companies help people to give understanding on gambling. Gambling is been created to win or lose, so if they should teach people how will they make their own profit. They want people to be loosing money for them to increase and grow more and I think people who become an addict are people who are not disciplined and they are irresponsible.
They forget to understand that gambling is just for fun and not for makes money and always limits their gambling activity. They don't chase the wins and will accepts whatever the outcomes because their reason to playing gambling is just to fills their spare time. If beginners can stick to that reason and always manage his time and money well, he will not breaks that reason and will enjoy his spare time by playing gambling. He will knows that when he becomes addicted to gamblers, he will be in trouble and it's difficult to gets out from gambling so he will try to holds himself not to playing gambling excessively. Beginners becomes addicted to gambling because they don't learn about what's the things that they needs to have when they playing gambling so they tempts by gambling and gets deeper in gambling. He becomes addicted to gambling but he doesn't realizes about the fact and thinks that he still fine. But the truth is he change himself to becomes addicted to gambling.

True, I agree with your opinion that all gamblers can only win by chance in any way but sometimes without any way they can still win because actually only luck can make someone win in gambling, so there is no need to be too encouraged by various strategies, because when you put your hopes on strategies then usually you will be more likely to feel disappointed at the end of the session, as you said because after all there is absolutely no plan that can guarantee victory in gambling, in the end it is still if you are lucky then you will win.

On the other hand reaching a winning amount of $1 million using a capital of $20 is obviously hard to believe, although for example any possibility can always happen in gambling especially when you are really very lucky, but honestly it is hard to believe because not everyone can really go through the process easily, and I would be quite confident if the capital amount was more than $20.
Gambling's "what if" thrill can hook you. The uncertainty and a chance to win keep people coming back. Man, chance rules. No plan will affect the odds. You can boost your odds. Knowing the game and odds is important. Knowledge and strategy help poker players calculate pot odds and make smarter plays.  Ultimately, luck is uncontrollable. Listen, stories of turning a little gamble into a fortune are rare. Enjoy the game, but be wise about it. Know your limit, turn away, and don't chase losses

Yes that's right, I think it's a fact that one is always captivated and hooked by the idea of "maybe once again" and this is the drive of curiosity to be able to realize hope, but yes in the end the casino still doesn't care about whatever you think and however you feel, whatever plan you bring or how good the strategy you believe in is still in the end as I said above that if you are unlucky then you will still lose.

As you said that plans will not always affect the odds, because the odds can only become a reality when luck comes at the same time, and smart gamblers are those who know and understand the possible risks and possible rewards, and I would say that if you have not finished the session then it is still a 50 : 50 chance of winning or losing, and I agree with your idea that luck is something that really can't be controlled, can't be predicted or can never be known when it will come, and it is for this reason why we always recommend gambling in moderation, risking an amount that you can afford to lose and also limiting your expectations of winning.

I hope that beginners can see the many cases of bad effects that occur due to excessive gambling, by seeing and being aware of this, maybe they will not gamble excessively, such as by being obsessed with getting a win that is impossible to get according to what they want. . We must be able to play gambling, don't let gambling play us. Indeed, excessive gambling is a trigger for addiction and greater losses. If the advice is given, it is definitely done by those closest to them, but the control is entirely within themselves, if they still insist on winning at gambling then the advice they get will probably be simply ignored.
That's right, for beginners they should be able to realize that they can learn valuable lessons from the bad experiences experienced by experienced gamblers and they should stay away from these bad behaviors as much as possible.
And I agree with you, if we receive good advice from other people and we can do it then we will not experience a big impact in gambling and we will also prevent addictive behavior as a result of excessive gambling.

With so many cases of bad impacts that have occurred, I think we can use it as a lesson, not even just from gambling. The reason why I'm not addicted to gambling is because even before I started to play gambling I already understand gambling and its addiction, and my understanding has helped me on how to follow up gambling. Sometimes I ask myself why do people get addicted to gambling, is it because they have no understanding or awareness about the addiction of gamble.

I think majority of people who are addicted to gambling is because they do not understand gambling as beginners, the rules and the side effects of playing gambling excessively.

I think if gambling companies can help to giving beginners to understand gambling and addiction it will help and reduce the rate at which people get addicted o gambling, I mean good lesson for people to get understanding.  Or do gambling companies benefit from gamblers who are addicted, which the awareness of getting addicted can affect their business?.

You are completely right with all that you have said and I absolutely agree with you.
First, like it's often said that too much of everything is bad, gambling too much is what brings about addiction to the game, that is, doing gambling to an extent the brain becomes very used to it, which means that, if after sometime, the person have not gambled, he or she will begin to feel restlessness, frustration, anxiety, the person begins to feel like he or she is seriously missing out on some many winnings which also translates to money, this is what drives alot of addicted gamblers to stealing to gamble when they have no money on them, they usually take another person's money with the intention of replacing it when they have won the money they seem like 100 percent sure they would win, but then when eventually they lose the game, they won't be able to replace the money they took and it automatically becomes stealing.

I learnt this from a one time friend of mine who was addicted to gambling, he at some point confessed this to me that that is how he often feels when ever the urge to gamble comes upon him and he has no money, I did all I could at the time to get him out of that situation before something came up and I relocated to a different city, don't know how he's fairing now though..

They want people to be loosing money for them to increase and grow more and I think people who become an addict are people who are not disciplined and they are irresponsible.

as you said, people need to set limits so that they don't get addicted to gambling due to excessive gambling. usually casinos provide several features that gamblers can use to regulate their limits, such as deposit limits, self-exclusion, etc. these are features that can help gamblers if they think that they cannot regulate themselves. these features really help gamblers and prevent them from playing excessively which can cause addiction to them.
Because the only person who can set limits is yourself and not other people, how much do other people advise beginners not to get addicted, but if beginners cannot set limits they will gamble carelessly, there are various ways to prevent becoming addicted and it depends on them being able to overcome them or not, they must first understand the basic basics of gambling that will cause them to become addicted and prevent that from happening. If the casino provides this limitation feature, it is very good for gamblers who have difficulty controlling themselves when gambling. They can use this feature to overcome their addiction and also prevent it beginners so they don't get addicted.

However I am not aware of casinos providing this feature because according to my observations gambling sites don't care about the expenses of their users, the bigger the expenses, the better the revenue turnover of the site itself and they are very happy about it and they don't care even if the users experience addiction or experience losses which is very big because it is a risk that their users have to bear if the casino limits it then they will not get a large turnover because gamblers use the feature of limiting their spending.
