The reason why I'm not addicted to gambling is because even before I started to play gambling I already understand gambling and its addiction, and my understanding has helped me on how to follow up gambling. Sometimes I ask myself why do people get addicted to gambling, is it because they have no understanding or awareness about the addiction of gamble.
I think majority of people who are addicted to gambling is because they do not understand gambling as beginners, the rules and the side effects of playing gambling excessively.
I think if gambling companies can help to giving beginners to understand gambling and addiction it will help and reduce the rate at which people get addicted o gambling, I mean good lesson for people to get understanding. Or do gambling companies benefit from gamblers who are addicted, which the awareness of getting addicted can affect their business?.
The reason why people get addicted to gamble is not actually lack of awareness or understanding because you can't tell me they don't know the possible outcome or effect of being addicted to gambling, off cause they know. We know that what makes one to be an addict of something is frequently doing a particular thing, so I think frequently gambling will bring this emotions of wanting to gamble even when they don't have money, so in order not to be an addict stop gambling frequently is not healthy or advisable.
Morever, it's not only beginners that is an addict, if you check very the most addicted gamblers is not beginners and if I may ask why will companies help people to give understanding on gambling. Gambling is been created to win or lose, so if they should teach people how will they make their own profit. They want people to be loosing money for them to increase and grow more and I think people who become an addict are people who are not disciplined and they are irresponsible.
You are completely right with all that you have said and I absolutely agree with you.
First, like it's often said that too much of everything is bad, gambling too much is what brings about addiction to the game, that is, doing gambling to an extent the brain becomes very used to it, which means that, if after sometime, the person have not gambled, he or she will begin to feel restlessness, frustration, anxiety, the person begins to feel like he or she is seriously missing out on some many winnings which also translates to money, this is what drives alot of addicted gamblers to stealing to gamble when they have no money on them, they usually take another person's money with the intention of replacing it when they have won the money they seem like 100 percent sure they would win, but then when eventually they lose the game, they won't be able to replace the money they took and it automatically becomes stealing.
I learnt this from a one time friend of mine who was addicted to gambling, he at some point confessed this to me that that is how he often feels when ever the urge to gamble comes upon him and he has no money, I did all I could at the time to get him out of that situation before something came up and I relocated to a different city, don't know how he's fairing now though..
