I have the same thinking that people can save as well as lose money in gambling but the chances of losing are more than the chances of saving money in gambling and the only reason behind this fact is greediness which makes a person pure gambler. If you are saving a little amount of money from your everyday winning, this greed in you will tend you to play with huge amount and losing your confidence, you will definitely lose that game.

Yes that can't be an easy thing but you have to do it the hard way. If a gambler wants to save he needs to do the initiative for it. Responsibility, discipline and eagerness to save is what he needs to have. But if there's no other option then he needs to give up gambling so he can give way to save.

separating your funds into 2 parts is the best way to do this. 1 for gambling and 1 for savings
And do not ever use the saving part for gambling. I have seen many people can not stop themselves from using money from their saving account. What a shame.

I think playing with your savings which you saved beside from your budget are the best thing with which you can play your gambling because the first advantage of playing with this saving would be that it will not make you an addict because you would not be having much amount to play with. Saving is only possible in those methods where there is something like earning money with hundred percent guarantee. Gabling in no income of source so thinking about saving money without earning money at first place does not make much sense to me. If someone wins a gambling game and has few extra bucks, he could save it for the later game and lose it again. This is just a cycle of gaining and losing. However, chances of losing are more.

Yes, it doesn't make sense to gamble and save money at same time. If you need to save money stay away from gambling, as you will just spend money with gambling. It's the same than asking: How can I save money while losing it?

What someone could try doing is to use only casino's faucet earnings to gamble, but this way the gambler will need to put a lot of effort and spend a lot of time to make progress, as a lot of attempts will be necessary until he is able to turn the faucet's earnings into a considerable amount of money that could worth to be saved. Then it's upon to each gambler to decide if it worth or not.

I really think that putting away the amount of money allotted for savings is the most effective way for a person to be able to saved money. Setting aside first the savings before budgeting and buying anything else will ensure that you will have savings but playing gambling can affect this. Imagine this, you are gambling and the amount you allotted for it was all used up and you still want to play. @diegz is right that it will be a distraction to you since it will make you to get some from the saved money and when some people started doing it, it is possible that they will do the same thing again.

It will be the best to quit on gambling if you truly want to save money and just do gambling again after saving up so many money and after you have fulfil all your goals in life.

action speaks louder than words. meaning to say , you need to do it , instead of only saying it. you need to save your money on a safe or in a piggy bank rather than mixing it up on your wallet but you already allocated it. in this way , you can fully avoid to get tempted or spend your allocated money. Overall , saving money while gambling is still possible and all of us can do it, whether your addicted or not but as long as you are dedicated on your goal.
