Hey all,

Although I have been interested and in and out of this forum for a about year now, it is only recently that I decided to get serious and learn and perhaps chat here to get more real insights from people with more experience and knowledge.

But one thing I noticed is that many people spend hours upon hours here, like really long hours, which made me think, like how come?

a little information about me, I have a business buying and selling women's accessories online, so I am often in front of my PC and while opening my PC, I also post on this forum and without realizing it I do it for hours while also taking care of my household.

Do you guys make a living commenting and being here or are you really that passionate about web3/ crypto and blockchain?

Of course I'm passionate about crypto and blockchain technology but also I earn and expect side income from this forum, and to be honest it really helps me and my little family. I admit I am very lucky to know this forum and make money from it.

There are various reasons why some people spend a long time on this forum and it is best that everyone speaks for themselves.
In my case, the reason is the habit of following news from this forum and personal relationships and friendships with individual forum members.
Of course, today we have a lot of crypto groups on social networks and crypto Telegram groups, but for me this forum is the most important place to discuss crypto and socialize because I have been on it for almost 10 years.
When you love something, you always find time for it  Cheesy

Bitcoin is a subject that I personally find very interesting. It is a revolutionary idea; it continues to develop and evolve in intriguing ways. The technology is young, but it is well on its way towards widespread adoption. So, if you are interested in joining a community of people who care about money, Bitcoin, and the future of currency, this forum is where you will find them. It is no wonder that so many people point newbies here for advice, because there really is no better resource available. I am not advocating that you should drop whatever it is you're doing and get involved with Bitcoin, but I am saying that if you are interested in learning more about this technology, it is hard to find a better place than this forum.

Most that spend a lot of time here are making some money on the side. Whether that's enough to support them or not depends. However, I used to spend a lot of time here without getting paid, and in fact it's only in somewhat recent years I've actually been making a decent amount being here. That was never my goal, but rather something I've become appreciative that has happened.

I've probably spent the majority of my time here not actually earning anything, and instead discussing all kinds of things, and not always directly related to Bitcoin. I don't know about you or anyone else, but when I first discovered Bitcoin, and finally grasped why everyone was so excited about it; I couldn't stop reading about it.

I also like the history, and the potential of being part of that history intrigues me even more. We're basically watching something that's revolutionary in its idea. We've always had currencies as humans, but nothing so decentralised as Bitcoin. Even if you go back hundreds of years our concept of money has always been somewhat centralised.

There is a lot of learning here, so it very normal for people who like to learn to spend a lot of time in the Forum. There is hardly a day that I come online on the forum and don't find a discussion that is beneficial and adds to my knowledge, so in a bid to keep learning I spend more time on this forum than I do on other social media websites that are created mainly for entertainment.

How do you know that someone spend hours on this forum per day? The only information that's available for the public is the last time the user is active through their profile, there are some browsers that will keep you long in for hours that doesn't mean the users will be here all hours long.

Once you drop your ideas and contribution there is really not much going on the forum, it takes minutes only to engage in discussions so you focusing on how many hours people spend on here is wrong.

Prior to this forum, I was fascinated by another forum that covered a completely different subject. I also visited it regularly until, for unknown reasons, something happened, and I was unable to access it. But fortunately, I stumbled upon this forum, and for the first three months, I misjudged its existence, thinking that this was a forum for making money. But after sobering up from the fraudulent projects that created thousands of shitcoins, I dove into the study of bitcoin.
Now I have become addicted to reading the forum. I do not see this as a big problem, but on the contrary, I get great pleasure from it.
If I didn't think I could remember and figure out who was who by nicknames before, after reading the forum, I feel like I know everyone. Communication with smart people makes us better, which cannot be said about the stupid people on TikTok or other social networks, when people "go out of their skin" just to get coveted likes.

If you are into bitcoin or you love the bitcoin concept and you have passion to know more about it,then you will create time for yourself to learn in the forum. I registered first week of October this year after searching for bitcoin related websites in google. First I got it wrong and didn't think I will learn so much and chose not to be active. At some time,I made up my mind to take the cryptosystem serious so that I can secure my investment, I decided to always create time everyday to read at least two articles to broaden my knowledge, sometimes as a busy mother I come online at night when my kids are asleep. Like you have made up your mind to learn in the forum by asking this question to know how possible it is. This forum is an interesting community with a lot knowledge on bitcoin and the world, dedicate more of your time here and you will not regret it. Social media like Facebook are just waste of time to me.

When you are passionate about something, you develop a daily addiction to it. Due to the exposure and crypto expertise, I have learned through the btt community, that is what I am now involved with.

Most of us here, who have fallen in love with bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, can't go a day without breezing into this site to learn what's new with crypto and the forum in general.

Only this forum has captured my attention and transformed me into a better bitcoin enthusiast that values and loves bitcoin more than social media drama, fake news, or lifestyle.

True. It is their own time anyway. Here in the forum, I do not have the feel to comment sometimes. Sometimes you will have those days that you just do not want to do anything the whole day. Cheesy

@OP Not sure if there are people really do "make" a living in commenting in here, since no one knows nor does really care much on how other's spend their time in here, but regardless it's just like how you always do your daily hobby or other stuffs. Sometimes you do your hobby, sometimes you don't and you invest your time to something else.

It all depends on you, yeah...
You don't really have time for the forum doesn't mean every other person does that for some kinda pleasure or reasons you don't know... It is actually the case here yes; your inconsistency doesn't make that.
Yunno, as much as I do -- that if everyone else isn't giving in much time and attention in here as you don't, then this place would be some kinda quiet and boring site that people won't even find it interesting -- you won't either and I don't think paid signatures would offer any slots in here.... So the whole system begins to crumble the day everyone decides to stay off.

Bitcointalk is a forum dedicated to discussing Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. It is a popular online community for people interested in cryptocurrency, and it offers a wide range of discussion topics and resources for people to learn about and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the cryptocurrency space.

There are several reasons why people might spend a lot of time on Bitcointalk. Some people may be actively involved in the development or use of cryptocurrency, and they may use the forum as a way to stay informed about new developments and collaborate with others in the community. Others may be interested in investing in cryptocurrency and may use the forum as a way to research and learn about different coins and projects. Some people may also simply be interested in the technology and culture of cryptocurrency and may enjoy participating in discussions and debates about various topics related to the space.

Ultimately, people spend time on Bitcointalk because it is a convenient and engaging way to connect with others who share their interests in cryptocurrency and to stay informed about the latest developments in the industry.

Maybe it’s because the ecosystem here is not polluted. Everyone loves some fresh air, bitcointalk gives just that. It’s very different from every other community you can find on the internet, and it begins to grow on you. If you want to learn something about cryptocurrency, this is best place for a newbie. I have seen some copycats using the same logo and UI as this forum but the quality of discussion is what separates the real from the wannabes. Bitcointalk isn’t perfect, many newbies can’t cope, mainly because they thought the forum was something else..the ones that did stay are far better than they were in the beginning.

Most users in this forum has no interest with web3 or shitcoins, they're (including me) only focus to Bitcoin. This is Bitcointalk forum where the majority of the users are Bitcoin enthusiasts and they're put most of their investment money to Bitcoin.

This is something I have noticed here, even if you are involved in altcoins immediately you get into bitcointalk you will realise you have been in the wrong side of crypto currency. Many that can't cope have left.

Hey OP once you start engaging in the forum discussions will find here a home more trust worthy than social media

I just checked your profile and yeah you're more than a year in the forum. Judging from your activity count it shows you're not that interested in the forum else you'll know why people don't spend most of their time here and not on other social media platforms that promote nothing but immorality. The answer to your last question is yes, it is possible if you're interested to make a living here.

I believe it depends on each person's motivation for visiting the forum. Some people are constantly on hand to assist others in finding solutions to their difficulties, and many of them have also participated in signature campaigns, which is how they became addicted to the site. Again, a lot of people are always engaged in things here because they are not overly exposed to office and home activities. However, since I haven't had any opportunities to work elsewhere, I use this forum as my office and am constantly active here because I like how  the members are operating in the forum.

when you haven't followed the direction of the discussion on the forum. it will be seen how it is possible. people spend a lot of their time just reading and discussing.
it's like people who already like an activity. it gave him more time to work on it.

we can see forum members who have survived long enough. they don't spend all their time on forums. they will look active for some time. it's like logging into the forums at leisure.

This forum is really great when you want to see if there's a rumor or news about Bitcoin, with the help of many users, you can know if the news is fake or legit. Because if you only read the news on someone articles, you don't have any way to communicate with the others and only trust with the authors without search in depth.

People get fully involved in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency when they come here and interact with experienced forum users, as experienced forum users are always ready to provide all possible help related to Bitcoin here when any user asks questions.

Many people are addicted to social media platforms, and some of them are not benefiting from them, but this forum will help you gain more knowledge about life and also about Bitcoin investment, which if you are lucky, can yield a good profit.
