I have been a member of many Internet forums in my life, so it was not difficult for me to get used to this forum.
I've been a member of this forum for almost 10 years, and since I didn't really know much about crypto or bitcoin in the beginning, I mostly wrote in the offtopic and read the posts of other, older and more experienced members.
Over time, I started writing in my local board and later I became active in the English part of the forum.
As I learned more and gained more experience about crypto and bitcoin, I started writing more in other parts of the forum. I think it's a natural path for all forum members.

I think identifying with local boards helps alot because there is much freedom of association and speech to the ordinary levels there. There and then one could ask questions in their local languages because it gives way for proper understanding, guidance and support for newbies to easily adapt to the system.

As a member of various platforms, this would give you the insight of how platforms run and how to manage them to be able be outstanding and competitive where ever you find yourself.

When I joined this forum there was no merit system yet, so I became a Hero member by just posting whatever came to mind, and I didn't have a goal of joining signature campaign, my main motivation of checking the forum was looking for jobs and altcoin bounties, so I was only making a few posts per day to keep increasing the activity score. As I earned more bitcoins, I became very interested in how Bitcoin works and what awaits it in the future, I started participating in discussions and started earning merit for my posts.

So my advice to newbies is to not force yourself doing something that you don't want to do.
This was my story as well, i has a high rank account before i even realized that there are bounties to make money from, might have been hero. I mostly posted under announcements to keep up what's happening and to argue with the fudsters. I think every single one of those coins has died already so fudsters were right in the end. Also altcoin announcements were the place where i found new mineable coins (before icos) with fair launches to not so fair launches.

Before when you reach the amount of post you will automatically rank up , I forgot when will be the day of week where people will rank up according to their post and activity. Right now, this forum's quality is improving because of the merit system but sometimes don't get offended I saw some who gives merit consecutively to single person I dunno maybe they are friends or what but I don't mind , I just want to have a peaceful sr member here in the forum and I got knowledge and wisdom for free.

There was no merit system when I first joined and the forum was still very quiet. There were only a few senior members who continued to be active until now. I started my posts even by joining bounty campaigns and if I did so nowadays, I would be considered a spammer. After starting to understand and get used to the forum, I participated in various discussions to broaden my knowledge. Then after the merit system was implemented, being a more productive and active member was encouraged.  People will give merit to posts that deserve to be rewarded, so you need to do the hard work from now onwards

Thank you very much for this. It is a gradual process in the forum to make progress.
When I first started here so many years ago, it was all about making money and shilling projects. So I did not have the time to use the forum in a normal way of discussion with people unless about the project and announcement.

That was how I started my journey. But at a time I gave up everything I became so interested in the gambling board where I discuss football in the mega threads and I derive so much joy doing it.

But at a time(recently), I see myself integrating fully into the forum by using it the normal way of forum, like discussion, sharing knowledge and replying posts and mentions.

Man just be very participative. Search bar will be very helpful and posting on the right thread is one most the game changer for me. Not only that, there would be times that once you feel that there's a value exchange in the forum, something will click on you. You will truly find some post that is relevant to your own experience and you make it a basis of your own research. From there you build interactions with other members. Having the perspective of the next person is always helpful. And also like I said it's an exchange of views, so you got to be generous too to share your experience and ideas.

The first thing newbies should do is to gain knowledge as well as have to practicing patience. When a person learns to be patient, he will be able to take his knowledge a step further. I think he should make a habit of reading posts rather than posting early. The more posts you read, the more knowledge you will gain. There are also many users in the forum who have more merit than post activity. As much time as a person spends in this platform, he will get the results accordingly. But the interesting thing is that for those who are hungry for knowledge, this platform will help them to reach the set goals very quickly.

I don't think there is any magic or secret to be an active member, some people are just up for discussion anytime on any topic, some are up for certain time and certain topic, some are just like to read and observe, so if you wish to be higher rank member in a quicktime then you better be up for discussion anytime on any topic, but it will likely that you post some spam and its not good.

For me personally I just do what I enjoy, I never think about my rank, or merit or anything, I post anything that I want, whenever I want, never have any schedule too.

I first learned crypto trading on an exchange recommended by a friend of mine before finally finding this forum through an internet search when looking for some Bitcoin related news.
When I created the account I didn't know much, but I went to the local council and sent a PM to one of the active members to explain how this forum works. he told me how to earn Bitcoins on forums by joining campaigns, to be honest, it caught my attention.
however, there may be more of them coming to forums as well to earn Bitcoins from forum campaigns.

When i started here in the forum merit system doesnt really exist that time so you could pretty much post anything that you wanted without worrying on getting a merit or not. You could just rank up if you have a lot of post on your account by default by just waiting your the 2 weeks to past. So probably there was more of spamming that time when I first started here in the forum.

What I do is just ask anything that I just want to know about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, I also started on my cryptocurrency journey so there are a lot of things that i dont have any idea at all. But thats the good thing since I could pretty much just post it here in the forum and members is going to help me figure it out which is probably the best thing. Also I answer a lot of question that i have an idea on, sharing my journey and experience on scam websites, exchangers, gambling etc. Theres no competetion on the forum so you could post anytime that you wanted to, surely members here is going to reward you merits if you have a lot of useful topic and put your effort on it.

I don't think there is any magic behind this. This is a forum, like many other forums that exist online. You should get involved in discussions on topics that interest you. Asking and answering questions, helping and giving advice to other members where you can, expressing your opinion... Don't worry if you don't have all the answers right away, nobody expects you to be an expert from the start. The key is to engage, learn, and contribute in a way that feels comfortable to you. Over time, as your knowledge grows, you'll naturally feel more confident in actively participating in discussions.

Sinbad Mixer: Mix Your BTC Quickly
So basically this forum is for sharing knowledge and engaging in conversations related to Bitcoin and crypto in general. I feel as a starting point you need to gain a basic understanding of how Bitcoin works on your own and then  you can learn a lot of things here, members here are really friendly and willing to help if you don't understand something. If you're interested in ranking up your account, I recommend staying active and posting regularly.

You can share cool ideas, knowledge, engaging in good conversations or seek help in any way you need. It's important to make constructive posts if you're looking for merits because that's really important to rank up Smiley

As for time management, personally I use the forum a few days a week typically for about 10 to 12 hours. I spend time reading news, participating in conversations and sharing ideas or experiences.

Good luck OP!

In the newbie stages, it's always going to be hard because many newbies don't have the proper knowledge to keep their conversations smooth with other forum members, so they also find it boring because of the knowledge they don't have. But as time goes on, when newbies getting more knowledge about the forum, Bitcoin, cryptocurrency in general, and other topics involved in discussion in the forum, they improve, and the conversation in the forum becomes easier. There is nothing like magic in terms of activities and merit earning, but it depends on how you dedicate your time and always contribute valuable information to the forum.

You should have started by self moderating the thread since, for some reasons, you don't want newbies and Jr. Members to participate in the discussion. But, I think they'll bring the best response to this thread because their beginning is still fresh to them. I can't personally recall exactly how I started the journey here, it all boils down to creating threads and making responses to the forum. And one faithful morning a merit source located my account and gave out good number of merits that led me to full membership, and after that period I stopped visiting the forum because of work and later when I began posting again my merit count was increasing by 2 gradually till it got to this point. Consistency is key here.

There's nothing like magic in this forum. The more you engage in discussions, the more your post count grows and consequently your activities. Merit on the other hand can be obtained when your post is top quality, educative and helpful to others. You should also note that nobody owes you merit and they can only give it out when they will. Thou keeping and hoarding it to themselves has no any impact and the forum has the right to void it.

My experience as a newbie might be some how funny because at first, I find it difficult to post despite going through some rules to familiarize with posting etiquette but the phobia of not making quality posts kept disturbing until I develop the courage one day and till today I am still working on myself to improve more than before.

Moreover, the forum is just like your social medias where you share ideas with friends, relatives and people who don't even know. The more you dedicate your time to forum, the more you begin to understand it. The strict supervision by moderators has put the forum ahead of other social medias. Hardly to see irrelevant content here and people are ready to provide solutions to your problems once you share it not like other media where the comment deviate from the post.

please on behalf of all the newbies we like you to recommend to us how you did the magic on your post count and also merit court and how to do things on the forum and also on how you  share your time table for the forum
This forum contains discussions about bitcoin and other crypto worlds. So basically having this knowledge is definitely necessary if you want to seriously participate in this forum. Even though you are still a beginner in this forum, your participation will definitely be highly appreciated if you have very good ideas, ideas and knowledge about crypto. Because these points are the basic points to make it easier for you to make a post and to get a merit, if your post is really interesting and useful. So if you still feel confused about posting or about how to get a lot of merit. In essence, you just have to be someone with character and have out the box or unique thoughts about your posts. Then you also have to really enjoy living it, don't make all the activities you do in this forum a burden. Because if you think like that, it will definitely be difficult for you to develop, because you still don't enjoy what you do in this forum.

Regarding the right time to open this forum, it depends on when you have free time. Because there will always be other activities, so use the time you have to open this forum.

And in conclusion, if you want to develop more in this forum, you have to be more able to enjoy and be sincere in making posts or replying to other people's posts, don't be too hasty and just enjoy the flow.

When I joined this forum last 2017, my first focus was to familiarize myself with all the internal rules and regulations in order to prevent any mistake from happening. I frequently asked our local boards for guidance and support and I also did my research about the forum.

When the merit system was implemented, this actually pushed me to further contribute to the forum. Despite my efforts, I realized that creating discussions and replying with an extensively-written reply did not equate to me earning merits. So, I shifted my focus to reporting scammers and hackers across the forum.

The beauty of doing this act is that you receive the best of both worlds- not only do you help cleanse the forum and warn users about hack/scam projects under the ANN board; but you also receive merits due to your hard work.

Again, let this not cloud your goal of contribution. When you actually think of contributing, merits become secondary to your purpose.

There is actually nothing to it and no magic involved.
You share your knowledge, thoughts and opinions with others on here as well as learning some things in return. You should want to be unique as that would make you stand out from the rest and get you some attention(hopefully positive ones).

You could also want to be civil in your interactions with people on here as well as being thick skinned so as not to let words as hurtful as they may seem, get to you.
As for merits, If you actually put in some effort to want to learn new things on here as well as teaching others what you know, then merits would definitely locate you.
