There's no much of a big deal about it, how I started my posting journey as a newbie in the forum may not apply well for you as it did for me, so all you need do is to find your own way of creating your posts that makes you stand out differently. Take myself for instance, I started with spending much time reading posts and comments of higher rank members just to acquaint myself with what the forum is all about.

Moving forward, I had to make sure I was copying down every link of any post that the topic interests me and it's important in building my knowledge about the forum, especially posts that entails about the rules and regulations of the forum, and others that both the topics and discussions delves on techniques on how newbies could grow in knowledge about crypto. Example of many of those links I have in my collection is this thread by @Pugman which is all about questions and answers about bitcoin https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/a-simple-bitcoin-qa-learn-new-and-interesting-stuff-about-bitcoin-2968050 I
therefore ended up having a collections of post links where I can always go back to read those posts by just clicking on the link seamlessly. By this method I was able to develop my posting quality gradually even till date.

So my advice to newbies is to not force yourself doing something that you don't want to do.

Every newbie has a specific goal; the only difference is how much time and attention they put into accomplishing what they came here to do. Depending on the course taken, laziness or proactiveness will make the path easier or more difficult.
Most of the newbies right now have 1 goal in this forum. To post bounty threads a proof of authentication on a weekly basis. That's why they still at newbie rank even though they've been registered here in the forum for years already. Cheesy

Well, the problem with some newbies right now is that, they are looking this forum as more of a source of income rather than a place where you can gather information with regards to crypto. Like what @hatsheput93 said, forcing yourself to do something you don't want will just make you more stressful, and in the end you will be the one that will suffer.

~
I just shared what I know, and that's it.

There's no secret formula on how to rank up here in the forum. You just know what you are saying. You just need to make quality posts, and merits will be given to you. Of course this isn't 100%, but bottom line is if you are contributing to the forum by making quality posts, you will be given merits.

You still have a long way to grind that's for sure unless you've been into crypto for a long time already then you can contribute here already even though you're a newbie. Always research. Always contribute. As for me, when I was a newbie, I can consider myself as a shitposter at that time, but I'm slowly learning the basics at that time. I might said wrong things when I was a newbie (might still until now), but I'm more confident on what I'm saying since I gathered enough information that helped me construct a not-so high quality posts.

please on behalf of all the newbies we like you to recommend to us how you did the magic on your post count and also merit court and how to do things on the forum and also on how you  share your time table for the forum,
1. There is no magic for post count because if you post actively your actively your post count will increase gradually. But you may ask about how you did magic on Merit count. To get Merits regularly you just need to help others, share resources, contribute in the forum. So I also tried them and also we need patience beside contributing in the forum regularly.

2. This forum is a place to discuss about Crypto and many more. So anyone can ask or open a topic to discuss. This forum is also a perfect learning place so learning and helping others will be the best to do.

3. As I am a student I have a low of free times and I don't waste so much time in social accounts but I enjoy spending times in this forum. So when I am free then try to spend times here. So I have aparted some time to browse forum from my daily routine.

You will find information with four topics and basically you should do both, reading and searching before posting. Use your time to read them and I skip quoting important parts from those topics, it's your simple exercise.

The things that a newbie should do are research, read and learn from it. Just be yourself and be honest on what you want to post like an article made by someone and you want to post it here on the forum as your own which will get your account banned. It doesn't have to be very hugh quality post as long as everyone can understand what you mean. One more thing, it is also important to follow the forum rules. Just be who you are, that's all.

It is believed that every millions miles begins with a step, being a newbie, you just have to start from somewhere after building your confidence, because to be honest with you, i have that kind of fear from the start that how will i go about this, gradually i begin to learn, read and research and i see myself getting acquainted with some knowledge, those things you're learning are what will pull the trigger for you to post, but not just an ordinary post but a quality one if truly you've learnt something, then don't feel too inferior with your rank, be free and express your true feelings while discussing.

Me personally I don't have a time table, my merit is not even equal to my activities, I have been here for years since 2018, but that doesn't not stop me from making post when I have the time to. This is all base on personal interest, if you are very interested with the forum and need to spend more time here fine. but if you are occupied with other works and you only visit here when you are free also fine.

About activities, they all work and update as you continue posting every 14 days 14 activities update for you.

Merit; I don't have much of it, but I believe it comes as a result of dropping quality post, but having in mind or always asking about merit do delay the merit coming, because you might end up being noisey and posting things which are completely irrelevant because you are in search for merit.

Here same thing too here I post activity and merit doesn't match at all  Grin

Back in 2014 there is no merit system and what I do as a newbie is asked to older rank/older members here if i don't know just ask them some people will answer it and try to blend with other and then I become hero member hahah

Tho I like to be in this forum doing posts and sometimes got paid from it, sometimes or most of the time I learned a new thing on this forum. Some of the news  also updated on here.

Little advice just learn more and keep reading you will learn and you will get the "fruit" at the end of the day.

When I joined this forum there was no merit system yet, so I became a Hero member by just posting whatever came to mind, and I didn't have a goal of joining signature campaign, my main motivation of checking the forum was looking for jobs and altcoin bounties, so I was only making a few posts per day to keep increasing the activity score. As I earned more bitcoins, I became very interested in how Bitcoin works and what awaits it in the future, I started participating in discussions and started earning merit for my posts.

So my advice to newbies is to not force yourself doing something that you don't want to do.

we like you to recommend to us how you did the magic on your post count and also merit court and how to do things on the forum...
There is no big recommendation other than telling you to be yourself, understand why you are here which is to learn and exchange knowledge, read the rules, and develop the habit of reading with understanding topics that have been started already. When you read and understand, if it is a topic that you know, there will be a contribution for you to make to it.

how you  share your time table for the forum,
I am on the forum most times because I can access it on my phone, the moment I pick up my mobile phone, rather than wasting my data subscription on irrelevant things on social media, I always try to access the forum to read up and engage in new discussions.

I can be outside my home and in the forum, I can be in the midst of other activities and take a break to read forum discussions. At some point, the forum just becomes a part of you, not something you make out time to do because you feel obligated to, but something you just do.

Become consistent with the forum, and it will become a part of you.

Well, the primary basis of the forum is to learn and also share your ideas with other forum members.

  • The more you engage topics, create topics in the forum; the better your post count grows.
  • The more knowledge and zeal with in your posts and comments in your forum will lead to you earning merits. So the core focus should be making valuable contributions in the forum and the other will follow suit quite easily. The truth is the forum is a happy place to be.
.
So the question would be how valuavle is your posts and comments (contributions) in the forum

In addition to your other question, I do not think You need a time table to use the forum, you can use the forum every hour of day; it all depends on your own schedule. If you notice, you would see new threads being made in the midnight, morning, afternoon and in the night. If you have a thread or post you want to track, you can set up notifications for the replies of that topic (thread) and you can easily follow up on the topic
