I guess some other users here "know what OP is up to". If you're going to the forum for productivity, we all know what that user is up to. I have never seen someone obsessed with productivity in Facebook, Twitter unless it is a drama, Reddit or any social media sites out there.

When a user treats the forum like a workplace (unless s/he is into trading or selling goods or services), people know that the user is not here for discussion/s.  Roll Eyes

You'll be more productive if you are learning in this forum, you need to search here or research about this forum and be who you are in this forum. Helping others or guiding others is good for others specially to those newbie in forum. In my first time here, I don't know how this forum works then after many days I searched this forum and gain knowledge like grammar and also the quality of your post. Merit is not easy to get so make a better post and don't post if what you're saying has not connected to the main topic. Have fun here !
What exactly do you mean by research about forum? When you come across this forum with the help of any source you are good to go and then the main task is to explore different threads with abundance of knowledge. You should focus on learning not gaining merits in the first instance and it's not easy or hard if you have the knowledge to post and write whatever the topic is.You see there are members getting merits for simple answers also but that means they have clarified on the doubt and given the exact answer but this comes up with learning and enhancing your knowledge on these things.

Never tired to learn. Indeed, the learning process does require continuous practice to get better. Apart from that, in my opinion checking the facts before posting is very important to avoid spreading information that there is no data that can harm other members and whether or not to avoid spam. Accepting criticism and correction from forum members can also help us learn and improve our abilities. In this way, we can be more productive on the forum and make a positive contribution to the bitcointalk forum.

In essence, this Forum is a place to share views, thoughts, and experiences in a mutually respectful manner. Help must also be given voluntarily if indeed we can help, and there is no need to be overly competitive or against each other. In addition, forums can be a fun place to explore various topics and learn new things that we may not have known before. So, let's use the forum properly and wisely to learn from each other and exchange information!

I discovered am not growing as expect in the forum and I have realizes so many things about my posts and comments, things like; repetitions, off threads, shallow contents, inability to defend your posts or comments, refused instructions, walking out my strength and best field of knowledge of bitcoin and finally trying to beat or become others.

These statement above makes many victims of not being useful or productive in the forum. Am ready to amends my ways and I guess others too. What have you observed about my page posts and comments? And what did you suggests I best lay on? What's your advised to others? Though am not the only victim here but am only the repented soul for now, please deliver me. Thank you
First things first, stop considering yourself and others a victim of anything only because they or you are not being able to get Merits and grow up in rank, it's an eventual process that shows how much knowledge you have gained and how are you utilizing the knowledge that you've gained so far. It's better to just try to improve instead of taking any guilt.

The moment when you realize that your posts are not really paying off in terms of appreciation that you might be expecting which is given as Merits in here, you need to start thinking that maybe you are not knowledgeable enough and that is what you need to focus on, to get more knowledge and then focus on other things like grammar and etc.

Winding down.
If you want to become productive in this forum then why not make yourself competitive to others. I am sure you will ask how to become a competitive person and to become one then you should become a knowledgeable person so that you can defend your post. You should also learn how to post constructively and then you'll see what I meant about being constructive person. One more important thing, never use AI to make your own post like ChatGPT.
At least, if you see yourself being competitive too, then you can also become a significant poster like other forum members. So you have to be more knowledgeable and well experienced too so you can achieve being one of them. Though I believe there is no competition in the forum, but if you stay on top of others when it comes to knowledge and experience, then you’ll be more productive and useful in the forum.

I think you are not well aware of the forum rules and because of this your post quality can't meet with the requirements and as a result your posts are getting offtopic or deleted. Like others I wanna also suggest you to mastered the forum rules first from the links given above. Moreover, you can visit the following resources, I hope they will also be helpful for you.

Here I want to tell you to always try to find new resources and share all the things you know. And then you can increase communication within your local community, which is often very effective. And finally, the more resources you will know, the more productive you will be for the forum.

To me I won't say I'm perfect in the forum, I know I do make mistakes too, of which I'm always standing to be corrected, but what I do most times is that, I read through topics and have a clear understanding before I will reply, I also make sure I avoid spamming while replying, and I try to use the right choices of English words when typing, and I always try preview, read through my replies thoroughly to avoid mistakes before posting...

OP if I may ask, how were you expecting to grow! First of all if you want to grow, it has to start with your interest to learn, and there are loads of materials and threads from members pertaining to the forum and bitcoin that can improve your knowledge and post quality too.

Anyways, good a thing to see you have self examined yourself and seeking for possible ways to improve. But make sure to have it at the back of your mind that the forum is not a donor die affair.

MAaaN...!! CUT THAT STUPID SHIT
Agreed on that part life is not competition but we humans make it competitive.
But OP is thinking that he missed out on this competition, but I don't think we are here competing with anyone. So don't need to overthink about the activity on this forum. Whenever you have time to spend you can spend it here, learn something contribute in others post that's it.

There's no competition here is just that you need to work on yourself to do better than when you first came here and if you think it's a competition then I think that's where jealousy comes in and you won't concentrate on the main idea of being here and also mistakes will be made in so many angles from anything you do. To the OP.

There is no denying that people who come to this forum have different goals. Those who want to learn or even want to earn are equally struggling to survive and thrive.
It's how they grow that makes the difference. Competition will certainly exist, but the competition will prove who is able to survive and can contribute to the forum. Competition is not only in negative terms, if it causes jealousy it depends on each individual. the important thing is to try to be productive and be useful for the forum.

Life is never a competition but we humans made it to be that way so all you have to do is try your best to find something positive to drop here and also read on other people's post and find a away to bring out something unique or should I say something different from what you've seen here and your opinion matters alot, try your best not to do anything that's against the rules.

Life is a teacher so we have to learn from what we see and hear everyday.

You got registered barely a month ago and you feel you're you're supposed to make much more impact than these? I'm tryna get what you mean... Dude, it's never easy anywhere... I mean, I could show you the screenshot of my account when I only had 16 merits...Mhannn, my ass began to shrink. It didn't really matter to me at first but when I realized I had some restrictions to my rank, I had to push further ...
You' gotta push harder, cus YOU'LL actually fail in the process.... Don't stop!! It don't matter what you've been through anyways, it all depends on your whole effort. Secondly, be yourself, be real, be authentic... Don't try to force into people's shadow; you can never be me or anyone else in here.

Have your own identity in the forum and then work for it. There’s no need to hurry since there’s no competition, and besides the learning process takes time so enjoy and seize every opportunity that comes. Just be yourself, and never gets pressured with merits. They will all come to you easily once you have proven your worth in the forum. For now, maximize your learning first without pressuring yourself for the time being.

but i also hope that he doesn't turn into a robot here..
like i see many users have, with almost same pattern of posts..

I too would like to see as few as possible who behave like bots, and as many as possible who think for themselves and make even a minimal contribution to the forum. You noticed that pattern well, there are too many low-quality forum members who get the opportunity to participate in signature campaigns, and I have no doubt that there are a lot of them who use several alts, so it is not surprising that their posts are monotonous and follow the same pattern.

I will be very honest, I see a similar thread every day here on the same board. Why not try and search for it instead of creating a new thread?
Even If you are not good enough with basic forum functionality or didn't know "search" exists, you should try a new technology in the market called ChatGPT.
~snip~

I hope that your advice will not turn the OP into a robot who will create even more low-quality content and wonder why he is not progressing on the forum. Any use of such technology in a way that serves for communication on the forum is equal to plagiarism in my opinion.

Of course, your advice does not go in that direction, but pointing out that such a tool exists is dangerous in itself. I hope that as many people as possible will understand the negative consequences of using such tools.

Except have good posting in this forum you need active looking for board with potential merit giving, you can check several board and has topic specially allocated for sending merit like here [Merit] Share your best posts/threads with Fillippone to be merit assessed. You can participants there and posting your best qualities for getting merit points and  I sure the OP of that thread will help and sending merit based on your qualities post.

usually merit will come to us based on how our posting qualities, some time we need push and extra working how to get opportunity by showing our post and make the other interested to check post history and more productive with merit receiving, first need to improve post quality and how to make merit come to us.

To be honest, I admire you for posting on software applications and BTC technical support as that page consist of technical issues that only a few understand. The language is so different to the point that you would be able to understand such if you have the actual technology that is in dispute.

One advice that I would give you is perhaps continuing your momentum on posting on those threads. The more technical the discussion is, the more chances for your posts to be merited by other users that also understand the topic.

Buddy chill, you might be overthinking about it too much. This is a forum for discussions and not really something of a workplace for "usefulness" or being productive. Just use the forum whenever you like it. Sometimes I just do not post at all whenever I do not feel like Bitcoin-y at the moment (yeah I made that word up, lol).

You have way more productivity waiting outside the computer if you would ask me.
Right. OP seems so obsessed on how to make it instantly productive in the forum. It’s a working process mate  so you have to do your due diligence in learning inside the forum, so you can actually engage productively with other participants in the discussion. But never obliged yourself to take the pressure and compete with other forum members. The forum is a good and productive place to stay, as long as you didn’t mind the pressures around.

Literally you don't need to follow other people, but you can place them as role models, in the context of growing and developing in the forum it's only a matter of knowledge and how far you are consistent in learning things that can benefit others.

Never get involved in replying to posts that you don't know, but you should read more and dig the forum as deep as possible so that you get more skills, when you start to understand the side that you can master, that's where you will contribute to the forum and other people.

The first step is to get to know your character first, what makes you easy to learn and never complain, because many people who are not knowledgeable at first will become more capable after learning a lot of things, this forum does not limit you having to follow anyone and you have the right to choose your own path according with the abilities you have.
