PS - I don't have a coding background.
Just show them how worth what you are doing.

sometimes it is the actual situation that will answer the problem than just a word of explanation

like what they say, To see is to believe.
I have this experience related to crypto. My father has asked me, can I really make money from crypto? At that time, I can not earn much money from crypto. But I believe someday, I can earn a lot of money and I can live from crypto. Time goes by, and I can now earn money from crypto, although I am still trying to earn a lot of money. I just believe it and keep trying and never give up. That is the key.

I would start by presenting all available information regarding what is the crypto space so that my family can understand and fully have their support.
Then show them the many benefits that crypto has to offer and its changes in the world.  Also, explain to my family the available career options in the Crypto space.

i remember when i was young when i plan to work in a fast food chain and my parents denied me from doing .

but instead of following them ? i secretly start the work and then when my parents starts to find out ? they see that my grades did not change so they let me do my things and since then trusted me in every decision i made.

Yes, there's no need to convince them when there's fruit of your work already. If you are earning in crypto even without coding background, they won't say a thing anymore. You can explore other opportunities like trading but if you are seriously going in depth in crypto, you need to at least learn some basics in coding. Because if you go into mining, you need to program your equipment, and it needs understanding of coding. But there are other ways how to earn in crypto, you just need to know your strengths and see for yourself where you can you utilize it. Sometimes parents are against because they thought you can't get anything out of it, but if they see that you are earning, I believe they won't contradict you anymore.

What do you really want to do in Crypto space, solve useful problems and contribute good things to society with your talents, Or just to make money? I think if you have a reasonable reason for going into the space, it will be pretty easy to convince a good family.

You don't need to be a programmer to contribute. There are non-programming tasks you can participate in and contribute. But you should always make sure to participate in things that are safe and valuable/useful. And I'd advise you do those things you are talanted in so you don't get bored and don't do well.

The reason why the family disagreed was that they were afraid of losing funds in crypto and did not understand the cryptocurrency market.
You are familiar with the crypto market yourself, so you can try to tell your parents that this is your professional job, and there will not be much loss, and you are very young, you can practice internship, if it is really inappropriate Change job.
You need to persuade not only your parents, but also rely on your ability to conquer the boss.

If you are an adult then you have every right to determine what you want to dedicate your life to. The only thing holding you back seems to be a lack of experience but with enough persistence eventually you will find somebody who is willing to hire you.

If anybody knows a way to get experience in this industry, do let me know. Thanks. (also I'm 21 currently)

There's a ton of people on Upwork who post help wanted notices for their cryptocurrency-related programs, so it shouldn't be too hard to get accepted for one of these if you don't mind being paid in fiat. You can put these gigs on your resume as well.

Thanks to everyone who replied. As far as my personal skills are concerned, I recently graduated in finance. I've been trading for more than 2 years now in crypto but I don't have enough capital to be a full time trader. Apart from this, in past I lead a startup and it had quite good response with more than 150,000 people joining us in the journey. I've been learning Data visualizing tools such as TableAU and manipulation tools like SQL. I am also good at social media skills and research (I've handled many pages and communities in past but they were non crypto related). The only thing which really throws me out of this industry is experience. I don't have experience as I'm a fresher and got graduated recently (Even the internships want people with experience \_(+_+)_/ and therefore I get rejected all the time). I don't want to do a normal job because of it's non remote culture. I do think I have knowledge of this industry. I've been applying for jobs for more than a month now but I haven't got chance to showcase my skills yet. If anybody knows a way to get experience in this industry, do let me know. Thanks. (also I'm 21 currently)

It is hard to convince them that you want to pursue your career in the crypto space because you need to determine what you want to do with crypto. Crypto space is too large and I do not think you can do many things as it is better if you just focus on one thing such as learn coding, trading, or search for a job that paid in crypto.

If you are hard to learn about coding, you can learn about trading and who knows, you can get good skills in trading which can give you a chance to make money. It is up to you what you want to learn but make sure you can focus on hard work in one or two things related to crypto.

You don’t need to convince anybody of anything. If you have a goal & it’s achievable then go for it. As long as you can forge a career & provide (if you have dependants) then go for it. Put some trust in yourself.

If they trust you, you don't have to convince them if they want a course for you then you really have to convince them, you need to show them that you can and you are not going to waste money and will have a decent and support them if you finish your course and get a job, tell them it's a lucrative job and many young people are going into it and you really love to code.

How old are you if its ok to ask? if you are a minor then we have nothing to do because it is you family to decide for you.
but if you are also a mature person then i think it is a mistake believing that they can hider you from dealing in crypto.

Not everyone who made money from crypto doesn't know the coding and technical knowledge they simply made money by holding for that they need capital to began with and ended up in profits. So if you are going to begin your career in crypto then you can do it while doing your regular job as well because everything is in your hands which is from the internet.

then how can you convince them if they knew you are lack of knowledge? best to study first , have a deep knowledge about crypto and how this works because if you will just enter without anything as weapon then for sure failure will be your friend.

this market is risky , but if you are in the right age then i don't think anyone can hinder you from what you want to do in life.

First - ask yourself this question..

Can you change the expectations - the 'trajectory' of your life - simply by controlling what you choose to think about? - What you choose to let into your own mind ?

Second - to help on this journey, I suggest Dan Miller's book '48 days to work you love' and his related podcast.

Third - After completing the 2 items above, come back to your original question - and reframe it based on your new 'found' knowledge. I believe once you this you will be able to seek the crypto experience you are looking for.

Good Luck!

It's not all about coding.

The crypto space has the same area just as the typical industry that we have. Like in marketing, support and other positions that you can think of.

But yeah, most of the positions are in coding and if you want to take of that opportunity that there's not that much developers, you have to learn coding unless you find some positions that doesn't require it.

What kind of area in crypto that do you want to pursue?
If you want to be a trader, I dont think coding is really necessary.

Therefore, if you want to convince your family, I believe action speaks louder than words, show them a good result even if it is just a minor result.
