1.  Pretty much all coins have their ANN threads here first.  Look no further than the altcoin announcements board.

2.  Originality or aspects which the market and other people might perceive as originality.  Everything else could be "profitable", but only out of chance and you should regard them as worthless.

3.  Not really.  Just read around the altcoin section, don't believe anything that looks at all suspicious, and also look on the subreddits for your coin (all good coins have an active subreddit).

4.  Buy in the ICO...

5.  Not that I can think of.  You could always look for the site of that coin and they should give you stats about how much they raised.  If they don't have a public address showing this, it's probably a lie or scam.

Hello,

I heard many here talking about investing (or speculating) in ICOs. So what I would like to know is:

1-Where should I look to find future ICOs? Is there a forum, a blog or a trading platform for this?

2-What are the characteristics I should looked to maximize my chance of picking some profitable ones?

3-Are there any popular and successful traders in this field that I should follow to get useful insights?

4-What is the best way to buy early when I find some that I like?

5-Is there any stats somewhere about past ICOs?

Thank you! Smiley
