I have read the initial replies but I am not satisfied with the responses so far, maybe you are but let me still ship in my own little advice.
This has nothing to do with a slow internet connection or the number of pages you are loading as many had said but the extent of the privacy of the browser you are using. If you are using browsers like Tor and others that act like a VPN, there will be a problem. And this can also happen when you are actually using a VPN to browse, especially when the VPN is not a strong one, mostly the free version.
What do you mean "privacy extension"?
You should know this already, the extent of the security and privacy of your browser. You don't expect a normal Chrome to behave like Brave or Tor, even Incognito mode. I use Chrome for my Bitcointalk, and no VPN.
This happens to all users, with or without a VPN, on Tor or any other browser.
The difference is then in the speed at which information is processed. It varies whether you use a VPN or not, whether your internet connection is good or not, and it even varies based on the workload the server is running. And logically it will also depend on how much information will open, it is one thing to show all the posts of a topic with 5 pages, another to show one with 15 pages. All these factors count towards the page opening being more or less quick.
Well, I responded based on my user experience.
You see, it's possible you are using a VPN-like browser or even a VPN, with these, you will never know the truth. BTCt is a very user-friendly forum, and in my experience so far, it has nothing to do with slowness but security check (verification), and this year as a whole, I have never experienced what the OP narrated with my PC that I use all the time to browse the forum.
I often experience such on some websites, but not this. However, when I opened the forum through the Tor browser to be specific, or at times with VPN, I experienced such once in a while, especially if I wanted to load more pages as you said. The obvious difference here is the privacy of the browser.
Why didn't it ever happen when I use a normal browser with my normal IP and it happens often when I use a Tor Browser or VPN?
