How do I prepare myself for my first gambling experience?
What are the things I should expect as a first time gambler?
How do we react to my first gambling results be it winning or lose?

How can I missed that topic Cheesy

Your path in gambling should start with getting familiar with rules of games you find attractive. Whether it would be table games, house games or slots, read the rules, watch game explanation video, ask someone for explanation. Test your knowledge with game money. When you think you have enough and game starts to become boring, make first deposit. And prepare to lose it. Yes, lose it completely. But dont feel very disappointed about it, as you will most likely lose your second and third. Just prepare to lose, and dont expect to win every money and bet. Have fun and dont think about becoming a professional gambler.

Without a doubt the very first thing that a person needs to learn is to control themselves when they gamble, and this is because gambling can be a very entertaining activity and the risks that we are taking only make it even more exciting, this is similar to those that practice extreme sports and do all kind of dangerous things to feel alive, gambling can have that same effect and if someone is not careful and control themselves, they could lose a great deal of their money because of their lack of restrain.
That is why novice gamblers really need to learn self-control when gambling so that they don't get too deep into gambling and also don't use up a lot of money. They must be able to control themselves in gambling because, over time, the temptations they will encounter in gambling can become increasingly severe and will make them complacent until, finally, they are no longer able to control themselves. They don't need to use a lot of money to gamble, but they only need to use enough money and play enough gambling, too. This is to avoid the desire to gamble continuously. Even though they are new to gambling, with good self-control, they will not fall deeper into gambling and will still be able to use gambling as entertainment.

before jumping on this addictive activity, the person himself should know his limits and boundaries. and from time to time, need to assess his situation so he won't stray away from his set limits. it is too easy to divert your attention as the games are indeed interesting and addictive. and if you are on the losing side, the usual attack is to chase those losses and the likelihood of busting all your funds is always there.

I had the same experience before and I thought everything went so well and big wins.

I don't think it was the program or protocol of the site to give newcomers a chance to win in their first bet in order to feel the excitement and think "I can make more money here" and gamble more. It is a welcoming experience, I see and real gambling comes next. Sometimes we could think it was a trap but doesn't matter, as long as we having fun, making more losses than winning is okay. This is gambling, luck doesn't come always.

if you are playing those casino classics, definitely, luck is your friend on those games. but if you try sports betting or poker and you have your long years of experience, you will say that you will have more confidence and luck is not only on your side to win but your knowledge of the sports or the game.

do always remember, you are in the gambling regime, and so losing is always imminent and winning is not your friend.

Hello senior citizens and my fellow newbies gambler's, now I gat a straight forward question for you all.

Thank you all for your helpful opinions.

Don't get anxious, I always stay positive whenever I be wanting to gamble honestly. Be low-key and learn whatever you have to learn. Gambling involves either a win or a lose, a lose brings good teaching experience and you shouldn't regret over facing loses. For your wins, make sure you take profits and enjoy em of thing's you'll see growing. Take them also and invest them elsewhere.

Expect the loses more than you expect win, you maybe very lucky, but do well to be opened minded towards everything. I can remember the good memories I had even if it wasn't worth too much, but you'll get enough to create memories whenever you win. It's a good cycle, in between you have to know that gambling is for those that has lots of funds!!

Like it's been rightly pointed out above, two things are involved in gambling and that is it's either you win or you lose in gambling but as a newbie in gambling who doesn't have all the required knowledge that's needed to thrive in gambling, it's very advisable to temporary quit whenever you're experiencing loss in gambling because at that moment, it simply means you aren't getting it right and failure to quit gambling at that very moment will likely result to huge loss that might end up making you a gambling addict.

Gambling have the power of making someone to significantly elevate from his poor financial status quo and it also possesses the power to make someone become poorer than he's ever been and that's it's a must that a gambler should learn how to gamble responsibly
A novice gambler may find it difficult to hold himself from gambling, especially if he has succeeded in getting pleasure from gambling. He will be more willing to return to gambling again as before and there is a possibility that he will use more money to gamble. That is why novice gamblers must be able to learn self-control before they get too deep into gambling so that they can prevent the temptations that always come every time they gamble. If he couldn't control himself, he would only develop a gambling addiction after gambling for a while and there was a possibility that it would happen sooner than he imagined.

Gambling can make someone earn a lot of money, but we have to remember that gambling can also take all the money we have and make us bankrupt until we have nothing left. We should have known about this choice from the start, so we must be careful in using this type of gambling. We have to learn to be responsible gamblers so that we don't experience gambling addiction later.

You're right, those are the dangers of the game, when we are most looking for a way to do something well we have to focus on the things that need to be done the most, so is one thing or another worth it? For example, I know that in games one as a player can have great luck and win, but one also has to take into consideration that any move one makes can mean that one loses a lot, so these types of things are what make that a lot of money is lost, and that is not the idea either, as a player you must analyze the pros and cons that you personally have. I have always said that when you want to do things like that you should do them very well because it is the only way we can e lose money, I always said, before playing you have to set a schedule ready to lose, because it doesn't make sense to play with all the money you have and lose it, for me that doesn't make any sense.

When you as a player allocate some money willing to lose and respect the balance, you are willing to lose, because things are very decisive like that, if in the event that we lose we should have a lot of discipline and not put more money into losing, because that is to the main rule, so you take care not to have money ready to lose, second you have the opportunity for things to be different because you don't spend the money that is for other things and third it will be left for fun, this is how you must do things, otherwise the most likely thing is that things will go wrong, if we see it from that point of view then it is good, because this way we protect ourselves from everything, but if not, then we would be making many mistakes, those who make mistakes that have to do with the management of their funds, they basically go down the path of addiction, and addiction produces many bad things, not only do they lose money, they lose friends, they remain in debt and sometimes some people lose friends.
As long as we can prepare ourselves to meet loss and accept that loss, we should not try to recover from that loss because that will make us use more money and does not guarantee that we can win. When we are beginners at gambling, we should also be able to realize that we don't have much experience and must be able to learn to control ourselves so that we don't fall deeper into gambling. We can indeed win when playing gambling, but we also have to remember that we might lose more than we win, so we have to realize that we should limit ourselves when playing gambling so that we don't experience more losses. If we are still beginners, we must be able to take care of ourselves while playing gambling so that we will not try to recover our losses if we lose but will only accept the defeat as part of the gambling game.

For this reason, we must be able to allocate a certain amount of money to play gambling and it must not exceed the limit we can afford so that we can learn to accept whatever we experience in gambling. This is to train ourselves so that we can use gambling properly and also not try to use more money. We don't want to experience more and more losses, especially since we are still beginners at gambling, where we have many opportunities to learn to control ourselves and be able to gamble moderately. We will only try to use gambling as a way to have fun and not as a way to make money because it will not be easy for us, especially since we only have limited money to gamble. Besides, we will practice self-discipline in gambling because we don't want to gamble until we lose a lot of money, making us regret it. We will also try to avoid or prevent gambling addiction, which can come to us at any time because we know that once we experience gambling addiction, we will find it difficult to cure it.

As far as I know, most gamblers who take up gambling for the first time definitely start with a little prior experience from someone. But when a gambler gambles by himself, that is the moment for him. It will definitely give a slightly different impression. Because the first gambling is exciting for a gambler whether he wins or loses. When I first started gambling I won there. I was very happy that day because of that win. I thought if I could handle more gambling this way I could own more money very quickly. But the sad thing was that the next bet I most likely lost. But I developed a great interest in gambling. A gambler will naturally be more excited for the first bet.

This question I believe deserve just a straight up answer, and that is that, you expect nothing but loss in your first time gambling, but this does not mean it is mandatory to lose first game, or let me just say first few games, but expecting a loss would rather prepare you and your mind to possibly don't end up in shock or disappointed when you eventually play and encounter loses instead of winning.

Personally though, I've seen or Come across some gamblers who made good money from gambling in the very first day or week they started gambling, and it was an awesome experience for them.
But then, you must understand that our luck differs from one another, what happened to a person does not make it necessary that same must happen to another, there is what is called first-timers luck in gambling, this is like when a newbie gambler wins his or her first games, or in first few games, wins an amount we all could consider as large, we say that such gambler encountered the first-timer luck.
As good as this is, it is not the same for everybody, so, for you not to get your hopes too high, and at the end of the day, come crashing with regrets and disappointments, don't give your mind too much to possiblity of wining your first game, because the chances are slim, though this depends on the game you are playing by the way..

You must prepare in a sense that you will ready your overall well-being to start your gambling journey. And this is not an exaggeration, rather is a must so that you can be equipped. You must check your capability if you can really afford to gamble. Not only in financial aspect, but also checking your character. Being financially independent will definitely help a lot, but having a good mindset, discipline, and sense of responsibility will get you somewhere money alone can't. Only spend what your heart can afford to let go. Do not ever think of pursuing shortcuts, because to be honest, there isn't any.

As a first time gambler, you should expect that being a great gambler isn't something you can master overnight. It takes time. It's a process of continuous learning new knowledge and skills that you can use as your advantage in every bets and plays you will make. There's no such thing as overnight success too. So you should manage your expectations to earn profit instantly. Do not chase winnings or losses. Take a breather if you have to, to avoid losing much more.

In terms of your attitude towards winning or losing, you can be honest to yourself. It's okay to be sad if you lose, and celebrate when you win. Just make sure to do not let it affect you so much to the point that it will compromise your responsibilities. If you feel like you are overwhelmed by either continuous losing or winning, you can pause and think before deciding and acting what you want to do next.

As a first time gambler, don't expect winning to be happening everytime that you gamble. Some days you'll be winning all your bets but other days you won't be very lucky to win. As a first timer, it's not every game that you see that you'll have to play. Regardless of the reason why you're gambling,  entertainment should be the main reason and the profits that come from gambling should be seen as bonus so you don't get too over expectant for profits all the time when gambling.

As a first timer, have budget and don't just gamble without planning so you don't lose track of time while you're gambling and losing all the capital you had and the profits too if you have made some profits for the day. As a gambler, you need to know when to stop, you shouldn't use high wagers so you can have more chances to play more game and not finishing your money in just few games while you're not entertained.
Of course, every beginner must consider that gambling is not an opportunity to make a profit. They must be aware that gambling does not always provide profits. Sometimes beginners experience wins and sometimes they lose, but the percentage of losses is more often than wins, and yes, if you win, it is better to think of it as a bonus and not consider it a as additional income because to get additional income from gambling is wrong because gambling is an entertainment game and is not used to earn income.

It's true that as a beginner you must be able to have initial planning in gambling and never go beyond your limits, prepare a budget as minimal as possible so you won't be too afraid of experiencing losses. The smaller your budget, the less afraid you will be to gamble, but the bigger your budget, you will definitely be afraid of losing the money, so for beginners it's better to use small money if you want to start gambling and never try to exceed your limits, let alone think about getting a big win.

Yes, everything must depend on the mindset because it will affect the next step after the first gambling results including sensation and confidence. It's not just fun because it uses real money and can be reversed without specific analysis, it's better to use money that is not used, meaning that it doesn't interfere with the daily budget, such as the rest of your outing or daily needs are well met, and not use money at will, including when getting a salary if you are a worker in a company.

Face it like you've spent on food or your routine expenses that you don't need to remember, the rule of fun is to let the money run for a bet because if it's too much it's not as beautiful as opening a savings account that has been accumulating for months. The reward that can be obtained is only an estimate if the gambler can get the right prediction or game. Not too carried away, if someone is fed up with losing no matter how many times playing leave and get some fresh air, the fact is that if you stay in that place it is impossible to play longer with emotions, and even if you win you cannot play by relying on lust and greed and can spend all the capital. Even if you leave, the gambling place will still be open to serve other players Grin

Online gambling is designed for casinos to make money. The excitement of winning may keep you playing, but the odds are stacked against players. Be cautious and gamble responsibly.

I totally agree with you,as  a beginner one thing  you should know is that gambling is part of fun not  rapping it all over your head, and also don't be convinced by any random person who claims to be an expert rate mostly in terms of prediction, well there are some person who predict correctly but those set of people are very rare.

Secondly,as a beginner you have to stake what you can afford so that even if you lose you won't regret it,and also you need to have a specific day for gambling not playing everyday it makes one to be addicted, more especially as a beginner you need to have self control is very very important, because there are some person who are into gambling but no self control, and is really affecting them to the extent that, they can't even buy wears like cloths and some other things instead of them buying all this things, they  rather use it to gamble as a result of been addicted, most of them look very unkept, they find it so difficult to take good care of there body,More especially those that play virtual sports.

As a beginner I will advice you keep off from anything that has to do with virtual sport,It makes someone to be addicted to gambling,i have seen a set of people spending up to 100k just within 30minutes in virtual sport, there are some person who is addicted to a point that if they don't have money to gamble they might decide to sell one of there properties so as to get a staken power either.

Those set of people doesn't have limit at all,as a result of being addicted to gambling,so as a beginner you really need to introduce self control.

As long as they still make rational decisions, the chances of them being an addict will be low. I agree that newbies aren't prone on being addicted on gambling, they will be a casual gambler as they go until they experience a massive loss that they are desperate to reclaim it or having a massive win that they want to experience again. That I think will be the trigger for their slow process of addiction. The gambling addiction can cause them into making bad decisions that most of the addicted gamblers do and can possibly cause their life to sink.

Well, that's right, as long as gamblers can think rationally then it is clear that indirectly they will be able to maintain the right understanding along with the awareness that exists within them, seeing things rationally or from a point of view based on logic will be able to make a gambler know what is going on. what they should do and what they should not do when they are in certain situations, such as choosing to stop when they experience one loss to prevent a larger amount of loss and also choosing to stop when they succeed in getting a win and prefer to cash out, however this is a choice The best thing is recommended so that you can stay awake in gambling involvement and as you said indirectly this will make us a little further away from the risk of possible addiction.

On the other hand, in my opinion, it is beginners who are usually more vulnerable to entering the addiction phase because it appears that they do not have much experience and they are still very ambitious in their gambling activities, so this is what makes them vulnerable to addiction because they don't really know about the dangers of gambling. , and in my opinion lately more beginners are too focused on the chance of winning which indirectly makes them seem to ignore the possibility of risk and this is the reason why I say that beginners are more susceptible to ending up addicted, but on the other hand I'm just saying this for those (beginners) who have absolutely no true understanding of the concept of gambling.
Gambling is rational. Like being a ship captain, knowing when to sail and dock is vital. Beginners are more prone to addiction, as you say. They leap in without understanding how to swim. Typical eagerness exceeding experience.

Mentorship is important to me as a veteran. Imagine if experienced gamblers taught newcomers about game mechanics and psychology. This could improve gambling knowledge and responsibility. Sharing knowledge - not just to play the game, but to understand it - is key.

I think we need to create a culture where pausing is a strategy, not a loss. Like chess, sometimes the wisest move is to retreat and plan for the next game. Such a method may promote healthy gambling. Remember, gambling should be fun, and playing another day is part of that. All about balance, right?

Your analogy is quite good in this case, I think basically it is still quite difficult for beginners to apply a rational mindset or point of view in gambling, as I said before that most of the beginners who have just arrived are tempted by the opportunity to win, a few wins what another person or one of their friends who gambles successfully achieves can really be a source of encouragement and high enthusiasm for them to get involved in getting the same win, and that means isn't there a hope factor that they put into gambling? Of course, while on the other hand hope is not at all recommended to be applied to gambling, anyone can win "if they are lucky", but people who are too enthusiastic and insist on continuing on the wrong path will usually find themselves in a slump and will only spinning in a dark black hole, the lack of enthusiasm to seek light makes it increasingly difficult for them to achieve consciousness.

Of course they need help from  other people if they are trapped in this situation, but the inability to open up means that other people don't know about what is happening to them. The difficulty of achieving awareness makes  those who are trapped unable to become responsible gamblers. However, some advice that leads to preventive measures is  always the best thing to do, but the problem is that not everyone is aware that the approach they have in gambling is not in accordance with what is recommended.

I can't really tell you what to expect in your first time gambling but I do know that gambling is not a do or die affair so don't put all your interest in it most especially don't see it as a means to make money because you would be surprised to what you might end up. Gamble with money that when you lose it won't affect you because most times what we expect isn't really the results we get from gambler and the last don't chase your loses what is gone is gone just hold back and try again another day.

When we risk with what we have, the experience matters more than the outcome. Remember that gambling is fun, not a source of revenue. Too many beginners and veterans start casually but get caught up in the pleasure of a win or the pursuit after a loss.

You're right about not overconfident after a first win. Like psychology's "beginner's luck," it can be misleading. Always tell my friends: Treat your first win as a joyful accident, not a skill indicator. Gamble naturally is unexpected, so every win is a great surprise. This helps us keep gambling fun and avoid stress.

Finally, control expectations. Though its human nature to wish for the best, gambling is better when you're surprised than disappointed. "Hope for the best, but expect nothing." This lets you experience the game like a game. Winning is a plus, not a disappointment. Gambling should be enjoyment, not profit.
I agree gambling shouldn't really be expected as the risk here is high so gambling should be a form of entertainment and better left to luck then no gambler will suffer an accident. Expectations are not always correct so it is better not to. If you're worried about gambling behavior rather than being depressed it's a good idea to take a self-assessment test. If the problem is serious you should consider taking a break from gambling even if the gambling habit is affecting your life negatively.

Hello senior citizens and my fellow newbies gambler's, now I gat a straight forward question for you all.
How do I prepare myself for my first gambling experience?
What are the things I should expect as a first time gambler?
How do we react to my first gambling results be it winning or lose?
Thank you all for your helpful opinions.
Gambling is basically a fun thing where you can have fun but here you have to be careful and keep yourself under control.  Then your gambling experience will be much better and you can have fun. How your first gambling experience will be depends on you and how much money you want to gamble with.  If you gamble with the amount you can afford to lose, it won't give you a bad experience. But if you gamble more than you can afford and lose them, it will give you a very bad experience. So always gamble with an amount that you can afford to lose
