To make your transactions faster on blockchain, you'll need to place a larger fee. Well for me, transaction time is not a problem. Even though I am only putting a small amount of fee. Usually 10K sats. It has 3 confirmations in just half an hour. So I do not need to have a larger fee. Maybe im just lucky that they confirms my transactions very fast. or maybe my transactions was not that high that they can confirm it as soon as possible. To be honest, my average transaction is 0.01 BTC. Not that much.

I just want to suggest to use Xapo wallet as they send many transactions at once and do not take any fees from you, so that helps in building big fees for a big transaction hence confirming it in seconds ( when next block gets mined ) in all the time I experienced with Xapo wallet.

Now a days I never worry for tx fees and for quicker confirmations too as I am using Xapo.

as i know,blockchain put different fee on different transaction speed,i think its what you need,you need to open blockchian wallet and put highest fee for faster transaction

you have to increase the fee if you want a faster transaction. granting a large fee would make bitcoin block easy to solve.

If you pay more fee then you will get the confirmations faster, but sometimes it will also take time because of crowd transactions, as one time I paid a good fees but even in that i waited for more than 2 hours to get first confirmation.

And even if you have paid .0001 like I do and sometimes even less then there is no problem too, just it takes maximum one hour to get confirmations. Why is waiting 10-20 minutes or sometimes 1 hour is a problem for you guys ? I plan up my payments well advance, so there is no hurry for me for quicker confirmations.

Hahaha that was funny, see the transactions have increased and hence it is taking more time to confirm the same transaction that earlier used to get confirmed much quicker. So, just a little extra fees and things are fine.

You are right, and we can only do one thing from our side to fasten the confirmation time. That is to increase the fees and sometimes using the recommended fees. Though I think even if you pay .0001 then it gets confirmed quickly.

do custom transaction with more fees than standard fees.u will get faster transaction.it's so easy.just try it and then see what happen xD

But for me, the fees give a big effect for the transaction, ok I sure with your statement if the fees aren't only the factor for a faster transaction but maybe there is another factor can make a faster transaction. but the fees giving the biggest contribution to pulling the transaction is getting fast.

how can the age of the coin have an impact on the transaction speed and making it faster? i would really like to know how transactions speeds are connected with coin age as i have never heard about such thing

i think if you want to make your transactions really fast then just include a bigger miners fee, for example in the blovkvhain.info wallet when you adjust the fees you can see the estimated confirmation time

The fees aren't the only factor for a faster transaction.
The age of the coin is also considered, plus the size of the transaction too. And I agree "transaction size" and "fees included" are directly connected.

Yes and to those who do not know even if you use blockchain there is a option to send transactions with custom fees, which enables quick confirmations, actually sending with high fees usually ensures that your transaction will be included into next block hopefully.

Put higher fee is the only thing that can help your transactions get a faster confirmation. I have no idea about the other way to make the transaction run faster.

I guess if you want to send money to the confirmation prompt, then you may have to send bitoin with small nominal, because in my experience, a large amount of the transaction would create very long confirmation

blocks only accept ~2500 transactions..

is lauda really trying to falsely suggest that if 5,000 people transacting at the same time all paid $1(big premium), all of their transactions would get settled in the next 10 minutes(magically all squeeze in because they paid a premium).. sorry but thats just not possible.

imagine it.. 5000tx pay $1 fee.. the next block is block 419,500
now another new 5000tx want to go through, this time they pay $1.01, with the next block being 419,501
now another new 5000tx want to go through, this time they pay $1.02, with the next block being 419,502
now another new 5000tx want to go through, this time they pay $1.03, with the next block being 419,503
now another new 5000tx want to go through, this time they pay $1.04, with the next block being 419,504

now imagine for the next few hours there were no new transactions.. allowing the network to catch up..
lauda i want you to do this:
tell people using blocknumber examples and transactions accepted and fees used for those transactions. what order you think the transactions would settle

the whole premiss of "just pay more" guarantees NOTHING because if everyone is "just paying more" then its just a vicious circle

that is a slice of reality that shows even paying large sums doesnt make everyone be on equal grounds. doesnt make everyone happy..
as you can see.. people that transacted at the time before 419,500.. half of them were waiting 9blocks, thats even with a $1 fee

How about doing some research instead of posting here? Any user should be aware of how the fee system works and any decent user would know better than to use online wallets.

No. Adding a fee that equals the recommended fee (in satoshis/byte) at the time (or even a higher fee) will make your TX confirm very quickly.

maybe that happen when the fee is too low,i ever experienced it but only take 1 hours with low fee as low 0.00005 ,quite regret about it,

Is it true? long as I use blockchain with standar fee course has never been that long. the longest half hour. But according to the article I read, you can speed up transactions by increasing the transaction fee. Thank you
