I've been here in the forum for how many years and I've witnessed how many bounty managers quit their job because there are a bunch of bounty scams projects that might affect their reputation, if you don't know how to determine them, it could be you'll also become their victim paying their fancy token that doesn't even have a value in the market.  Determining a good project to manage their bounty campaign isn't easy as per see, though ain't a bounty manager but this was what I've noticed for those bounty managers that already have a negative tagged under their profile because running of a scam project seeking high payable projects.

Yes, you can, by following forum rules.
But the problem is you don't have enough reputation yet in the forum which is it's hard for you to hire good bounty hunters, which most of them matter now with a trusted campaign manager upon joining a bounty campaign.

People think being a manager is as easy as saying " hey I am a manager" and it makes me sick. There are probably somewhere near 50 users on this forum now offering managerial services of some sort and something like 5 that actually do their job in an acceptable manner.

@OP, do not even consider trying to manage if you cannot do the work properly. Looking at your post history, you do the bare minimum and would be a terrible manager. Just my 2 cents, but i'm sure you want to prove me wrong.

There are no standard guidelines from the forum to manage bounty campaigns. As long as you have experience and believe in yourself then you can. Even newbies account managing bounty campaign. But you should have your own standard guidelines to build your reputation and save your account as well. Unless you have some good standard then you would get a red tag too quickly. You should accept a very good project that will not scam investors and hunters as well. So it depends on you how will you do due diligence before accepting a bounty campaign.

I want to become a bounty manager. Are there any guidelines and sources to follow? Are there any particular procedures to follow in each step upon receiving a campaign for myself? Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Becoming a bounty manager on this forum is not something you wake up one morning and decide to become, if that is the service you want to provide on this forum, then you have to start building your profile towards that direction beginning from now.
-Your rank on the forum might not be too important, but your reputation and trust level are both very important.
-Your style of posting is also very important, as no company will hire a forum spammer to head or manage their bounty campaign.
-Your portfolio is also very important so you can be able to guarantee participants payment, just for times that the company fails to meet a payments deadline.
-Your level of knowledge of cryptocurrencies also very important.
-And lastly, but not the least, you need your own brand, this is how companies identify bounty managers and hire them if they need the bounty manager's services.

Earn reputation first before trying to participate on bounty managing, plus work well with certain strategies which can give additional plus points to the owner so for them to choose you to became their campaign manager. Then work with communication skills to give proper commands to your participants on what things required and forbidden on your campaign and lastly work according to the proper timeline to count the participants work accurately to the given time so that there's no delay and bad mistakes input on the spreadsheet so that all will works will go smooth.

I went through your post history and all I could see are bunches of links linking outside the forum and some proof of registration of a thing. They line up one after the other. This shows that you already have experience or idea how bounty works, which I personally do not understand anything about bounty. Since you are into bounty already, what you need is little time to build your reputation here in the forum so as to be trusted and then you have your way to scout for clients.
Don't abandoned your wish, you can be a good bounty manager if you work towards it.

The guidelines are to make the campaign as successful and as clean as possible and to pick the right project to promote only one project is enough to ruin the reputation that you are building, there are a lot of bounty cheaters and fake projects, it's not good that you know how to create a spreadsheet, you also need how to pick the right people for your project, the hardest thing is to start there are more experienced bounty managers, offer something that other bounty managers are not giving and you'll have a chance to get your first project.

Get your first project to be handled and this would be the toughest thing when you are just starting considering that there are other reputable managers out there which is likely for them to be chosen
rather than on choosing you which is common sense.

Of course you would really be needing at least have knowledge;

1. Spreadsheets
2. Community handling
3. Knows how to check post quality
4. Be strict with rules
5. Check for abuses from members
6. Check valid entries

It wont be an easy tasks or journey to have.

I'm a newbie to literally everything here. I'm just want to try every possibility to get some experience. Let's just say that payment is not the primary concern.

Please don't lie my friend, because payment is actually your primary reason why you want to become a bounty manager on this forum, because as a Newbie your first goal should have been how to add value to the forum, but you never did but went about spamming for a complete one year and the only first post you could come up with was this nonsense about how to become a bounty manager to recruits another set of people to continue the spamming process which you started. But sorry if i'm hard on you, but your profile record is not actually impressive at all, but its never late to start anew, because everybody here was once a Newbie till we grew to the rank we are today. it wasn't easy, but we never let the difficulty stop us from making constant effort each blessed day, and today we could be proud of not giving up, and you too can do it if you mean it. And this moment, i will be giving you the chance to become that bounty, and not just bounty but a future campaign manager on this forum by giving you 1 merit to rank you up as a ''Jr. Member''.

so this is my chance to you, and i expect you to have a U-turn to from this day start adding value to the forum. Goodluck

These are Few things that I would recommend you to do:

1: Learn Spreadsheet skills (you need that to keep track of your signature . see how other managers are doing)
2: Create your portfolio thread (see some example in services board)
3: reach out to projects and offer them your services . give them reasonable rates and discounts so they hire you without having any past experience, you might consider giving 2, 3 services for free to kickstart your career.
4: never cheat your community and campaign participants. and finish your work on time don't delay updates and payouts.

You need to be good at handling a campaign and good at picking people for the campaign to see it to it that all instructions that you laid out are being followed you must be fair to all participants and knows when cheating is happening, this is for the project, for the community, you must know how to check if the project has a good potential in the market or another shitcoin in the making, there are bounty managers who lose their credibility because of picking the wrong project to promote, you must know when is the time to cut of ties when you find out that the project you're working with is a scam one.

One of the important things about the campaign manager is the trust by the forum members and by the company, and therefore they do not need additional fees for renting an escrow party, which does not apply to the innovators.

Therefore, you will need to gain trust and then compete with the existing campaign managers, which is not an easy task and may take you several years.

Initially you try to find real project with your deep anlysis, post on LinkedIn, telegram, Instagram, facebook crypto group for marketing and catch escrow project for attraction of bounty hunters and must need Forum Requirements and Skills Requirements.
Also earn people trust with your kind posts etc and charge minimum from project developer's but must be escrow

I have nothing personal against you, but so far your only "contribution" here is bounty spam. I doubt that serious project is going to hire random newbie who just posting bounty links. Especially when there is more than enough good managers. If you're serious, first build your name and reputation here, contribute on forum. Yeah, it's long way to go, but who said that it will be easy?

As you think what is better out of picking a newbie as the bounty manager or picking someone experienced?
You basically answered your question with this sentence.

If you sincerely wish to be bounty manager you can achieve that, I am not a signature manager or a bounty manager but I have known how things work here to an extent.
You need two things to get started.

1.Forum Requirements
2. Skills Requirements.

In the forum requirements, you need to be able to make good posts, you need to be able to build your reputation. You can build your reputation by how longer you stay here, atleast rank up and be trusted by some forum members and then understand how other managers manages to succeed.

In the skills requirements, you should be able to know how to work with spreadsheets, update enticing ANN threads and be able to know how to detect cheaters. Then you will be good to go.

I would suggest you to first improve your post quality and grow your account's rank to a reasonable "Member" or higher. Without this basic workup, nobody is going to give you any importance.

Beyond that you should start working as a trainee manager under some reputed manager who might also be looking for an "Apprentice/Intern" to reduce their own workload. They can help you get a job under their name and allow you to manage it while supervising it themselves.

But this second stage is far from anything close for your account, so you need to work on your rank first. Having been a bounty spammer, very few people will take interest in you, but I am of the opinion that any person can outgrow their habits and become someone worthy, so good luck!

You can buy a copper membership that enables you to post images in your threads. That's a nice feature to have if you are a bounty manager. Check out Paid memberships for more information.

Appreciate you sharing your experience.

Why would you want to involve yourself with bounties anyways? Is it worth being a bounty hunter right now? Have you been paid properly for your services in the last year or two to make you want more?

The only thing is that I don't have any merits.
You get merits for quality posts. You don't have any quality posts because all you do is post bounty reports and authentification posts. But you don't need merits to manage bounties. You can buy a copper membership that enables you to post images in your threads. That's a nice feature to have if you are a bounty manager. Check out Paid memberships for more information.

As you think what is better out of picking a newbie as the bounty manager or picking someone experienced?
I really don't think it matters. We see newbies manage bounties all the time because many of those projects don't want to pay a quality campaign manager. And still those campaigns get plenty of attention.

Why would you want to involve yourself with bounties anyways? Is it worth being a bounty hunter right now? Have you been paid properly for your services in the last year or two to make you want more?

If you have a project of your own or you are part of a team you can stand as its own bounty manager if you are an independent bounty manager, you have to offer something that will stand out against the more reputable bounty manager but your chances are not good.

At the moment, I'm supervising 5 blockchain projects with different use cases. The only thing is that I don't have any merits. I plan to conduct bounties as escrowed projects. As you think what is better out of picking a newbie as the bounty manager or picking someone experienced?

Unless you know how to write and create good posts, I doubt you can be the judge of what is a quality post and what is spam. If your goal is to become a calculator who counts posts and enters data in a table without checking or knowing how to check the quality, you could become a bounty manager. The majority of them don't care either. Increasing that count by one wouldn't matter much.
