I stay away from new/unknown sites who crop up everywhere. Why risk it with unproven and possibly shady sites.
And when you do decide to try out a different casino, choose one who's got good reviews, reputation, and excellent service.

Wouldn't hurt to read up, would it. Avoid those with plenty of issues and accusations, especially those who's got non-existent support/ignores their players.
If you're gonna play, then play where you are Valued.
I also especially look at how they handle withdrawals. What's the use of winning if you end up not being able to withdraw anyway.

You could go through the gambling section of our forum. Soon you'll understand the legitimacy of the gambling websites that function based on the virtual currency platform. Gambling websites listing based on the popularity and the service rendered will be updated often. Using this you could segregate the scam and the legit gambling sites.

Legit gambling sites can be easily judge the number of users and you can simply check the ANN thread of the gambling site in the forum. This both would give clarity about the gambling site. Other than that you find the trust rating of the site owner's account in the forum. This will helps you to know the details about the gambling site.

You could really research that here in bitcointalk and it would help you understand how it works and what its policies are. It's going to be a fun thing to play as long as it's legitimate and probably popular, so it would be less conspicuous.

It's a scam if they have a guy working 24 hours a day names "bob " and it's supposed to always be the same guy.  They are a scam if they give you a huge free bonus, with no deposit /at least they are misleading you .

If people were scammed and report it with proof, then I know that it is a scam!

yeah of course before you deposit any amount on a gambling, first thing you'll do would to check how reliable that site is. one would be foolish to just deposit money without knowing if that site csn be trusted. though there's a chance also that you'll be among the first ones to get scammed by the site, that's tough luck for you

To lower the scam chances just gamble at trusted and reliable casinos that have account on forum and if possible casinos running signature campaigns, it's a sign they are good casinos to play and that they won't run so fast with your money.
I try to avoid new casinos or casino which change owners, these are the most dangerous sites to play, stay away or play with small balance.

It depends, I think all the sites that are included here are legitimate but to actually determine it, I try to make an account in it and try to talk to the players there and see if they have a great experience there. I don't know, I don't want to play too much in casinos anymore.
Basically to check the features and reliability of the gambling sites, we need to make account with them at very first hand. But only very few sites are asking email ids but most of gambling sites are providing instant accounts too, hence it will not be a big deal to make account just to check the readability of a site.

I do believe just following how gamblers are sharing about their experience on one particular gambling site will be more than enough to make any conclusion on that gambling site. This forum will be very much helpful for determining credibility of gambling sites.

I never had any troubles with choosing proper gambling site.
It is very easy in my opinion, because on every casino you should have found a tab called "provably fair" or similiar to that, with the available way to proove that your bets were random.
Also, there are hundreds of many different websites that list particular online casinos with feedback of users, or sometimes even a voting system.

We cannot forget about bitcointalk.org: it is very important place in which we can just check if the gambling website is scam, or a legit company.
Just ask the users, or browse through the forum sections.

To be honest, I has never got scammed by casino, or any user in there. All you need is to make precautions.
Agreed through our forum we can easily find the scam and legit gambling websites as number of gambling sites have been developed with bitcoin acceptance. Till now I too haven't encountered any issues with the gambling websites. Rarely settlement delay happens which is due to transaction issues which gets sought in a short.

There are many scam gambling site out there, and not all of them are in this Forum, that is why we still have to investigate if a certain gambling site is a scam or not by playing on their site using the free satoshis or a little amount of money that you are going to deposit on their site. And if you can't withdraw your winnings, then it just mean one thing, that they are a scam.

Best to do is just play on trusted casinos and never play on new ones without reviews yet. Usually new casinos have higher chances of scamming people than those that are already trusted. Save yourself the burden of having troubles in new scammy casinos and just play on those certified true casinos.
But accept the fact that there are still dumb gamblers do play on shady casinos/gambling sites and i dont know whats on their minds on creating such action because we can always go to the most famous and reputable sites than to those shady ones or not yet been known by most gamblers because once you entered on that site chances of getting scammed it high, either the owner ran away the money or the site is rigged.

To know if a gambling site is a scam or not i will check if there are many users on that site and i will look at there certificate if they can be trusted. It's a good thing that i haven't experience being scam by a gambling site.
If there's a 'certificate' on the website, that's usually not even a real guarantee that they will not scam.
They just register in countries with pretty lax laws on gambling or the certificates are fake.

I would just look at their track record and never keep any funds on their website unless I'm gambling there.
I'd also only play on sites that offer instant payout.

Gambling online is one of the things that require someone to do a bunch of research before getting into or else they will have a whole bunch of surprises that they don't really need. I think that the people on most of the different forums don't really know what they are talking about when they review Bitcoin Gambling websites, I would suggest that reading reviews on Bitcointalk like sikke stated for better verification to see if the Casino is legit or not.

I have never played gambling on a scam site, maybe because I just always try to play on sites that have been famous like direct bet, or bitsler. Well, I'm not interested in trying to play on a new site, because it has a big risk to be a scam
The only reason why a site will be a scam is because they may be experiencing losses or they in genera; don't like paying high profits to it's users. It is clearly visible we see so many sites like fortunejack, rollindice, bitseler and god knows many more sites are there. If they were facing loses they would have stopped long ago. Starting a gambling site is basically pure profit in long run. All the owner has to do is keep patience and build that important trust.
Well I guess that would be one of the reasons because they would not give up their reputation if they are making constant profit, gambling sites are making good income due to the increasing adopters since bitcoin gambling sites are popular since it gives convenience to the gamblers.
Yes , a gambling site would not scam or run if they have many players . The only reason i know that a gambling would scam is having not enough funds to run his site or they have a system failures that leads them to lose .We can't go against the house edge ,they have the most money and winnings only small percent of their money will take of those winners .Theres no way for a gambling site to scam ,so far i don't experience and hearing a news tgat a gambling site scams .They only hold some amounts from gamblers winning withdrawal.
Usually, old gambling sites will not scam their players. Becasue they are not ready to lose their customers. Sometimes system failure or any other mistakes some people will get a bad experience on some sites. It is our bad luck, and we have a chance to solve that issue from customer support. But before playing in new casinos, you must take care. Without having proper information about that site don't play.
