i think it is very difficult to stop gambling specially if you have made some profit. because i have seen so many people when they made money their gambling percentage increased and not decreased. they want to continue the winning trend and make more and more money.

Even if you are going to stop and aware of your own bankroll if you don't have control for yourself, you can still have a lot of lose. Because that is basically a normal attitude of gambler, he keeps on gambling again and again because he thinks that his luck will lasts for a longer time but what is happening is worse than he isn't expecting.

Well many times we are forced to stop because we obviously have to run out of balance sooner or later when gambling. And that is what usually ends up happening, for me anyways because I keep gambling until I have nothing left.

Obviously if i made a ton of profits I would also stop. I think i still have at least a bit of common sense in my whilst gambling lol.

i don't agree with you about you can't success as long as you haven't a big bankroll. i even think that the bigger bankroll you have the bigger bet amount you will made , there is no difference. it's just the matter of how hard you manage it all until the end to make it profitable, almost impossible. you would never stop gamble if you can't handle your greedy however.

Indeed mate.. your greediness will be the one who will control your gambling activity. Some people changed their behavior especially if there's a money involve same with gambling you can't really tell your future in it so that's why many are being addictive to it because of the fortune can bring to their lives.

It is the right time to stop gambling when we already have some good profit. Because if you are not going to quit for having good amount of profit already then it is just going to be returned to the house again and there are also chances that everything you have will lose too. Just stop already if you think that gambling is not good for your life.

Yeah I agree, it's like you're glued to your seat or something that even though you already know what the outcome may be, you won't care as long as you're gambling away. I've had that experience as well on poker tables couple of years ago both in a casino or online. When I look back at it now I don't really see the point or how I couldn't control myself then. I guess you have to be mentally prepared really when you start to engage in a specific type of gambling because you may end up spending more than you can afford.

But you had the choice to stop or just surrender your card. Im not waiting for my card to be perfect its always on the desk on the card.

Good advice : 'Stop when you fell like you will win the next bet' cause I faced it too in the past when I still addicted to sports betting. Eventhough I already lost a bunch of money, that feeling came to me very often and I tend to increase my bet amounts. And the weird thing is even the result from that feeling was negative, the same feeling came again for the next game. At that time, I lost a lot of my valuable things and had a bunch of loans.

That actually cannot be prevented especially when you are under the pressure of winning your next bet, I have also tried that before when I was losing badly and experiencing some cold streak and all I have to do is just chase my loses because the feeling was really intense, however the end result does not favor me. Whatever game you do, it's not good when you lose control during your session, in sports betting most likely the odds 1.95 to 1.80, which means every bet you make you are not getting equal payout.

Most professional gamblers have several strategies for this, so I think that, even in gambling, having a good strategy is something that can help with risk management. It is also said that when you are gaining too much, it may be time to stop. That is something valid in trading, and it's probably something valid in gambling as well.
