I think the panic is one of human nature, the panic of the moment will arise because we can not predict naek down its price. so when we panic the losses that we will get, because when treding we really need ketenangna.
may be it is in nature but i think that it is different in different occasion. for example if a person is very new in trading and he do not have any experience then he will surely come in panic but if he has some good experience then he will take a right decision in right time and will never come in panic, and i think we have very good example when the price of bitcoin start dropping some people start selling in panic without studying about the market.

It's a natural thing mate and i think everyone get panic while having a tough time in trading. I panic sometimes during the trading of altcoins and yes i sometimes regret later that why i did it. I am quite comfortable and relax while trading bitcoins, when the price of bitcoin falls instead of getting panic i wait for the price to rise again while holding them.
Panic is very difficult to remove from the attitude of many people. Maybe panic is a thing that every traders must have experienced. To avoid panic I usually always think quietly and maybe I will sleep when the situation I can not control. This will not make me able to make the right decision. Better avoid panic and then start over when the time is right.

It's natural but overdose panic is harmful. It happens to me when I carry too much altcoins. When I'm in bitcoin, I never panic. Totally trusting bitcoin, not altcoins.

Human nature is vary moody. At small things it consumer or take a lot of stress and bigger problems is overlooked by many. When you enter the bitcoin world one thing should be considered in mind that price is very volatile . In 15 mins it can drop or rise 100 - 200 $ . So patience is the key. If you can just hold back to it price will come but may take some time or else it can come back quickly and even surpass it and rise 200$ more. Its all about holding at the right time.

I usually panic hard  Grin after the price gone below my selling price I'll usually buy some more because why not? I'm staying away from trading at this moment, I prefer long term investment this day.

My mind has been settled too for long term investments because I personally will say that panicking is one of the habit that traders shouldn't have. This will destroy your very momentum in trading because your not focus in long term investment and you are letting your emotions drill you easily. That's why just hold your bitcoin and sleep all year round.
Yup, and wait for it value till it goes to the moon. When it didn't goes in the amount you expected ot to reach never panic or sell it. Focus and hold on to your words. Especially if you study the coin very well and you know how to read graphd then we're on the right track.
When the price of a particular coin doesn't reach your expectation then just read some news and also from feedbacks of different people who also invested so you can have a vision if the coin is still a good coin to hold or it is a good timing to sell it. Just keep doing fundamental analysis because it will help you a lot and panicking is not for a great investor because it is only for the weak hand people.

Whether its bitcoin trading or altcoin trading, there is bound to come a time when your investment is getting dumped badly, and its panic time.
How do you panic? Does that really make you panic and do you take decisions that you actually regretted later? Or do you keep calm and HODL?
What makes you panic and how do you react to it?

I think Panoc comes when you mindlessly throw away logic and just give in to your fear or anxiety or to whatever you are seeing and not planning something. However what I do during those times is that I take a rest and plan out what are my options and check which is a compromise that I willing to take.
I think the panic also comes form the fact that many people do not know what is their goal when they trade, if you buy an alt and  you know that the only thing you want to do with is to hold for the long term, then you do not get panic if you see the price going down, you just accept that and you may even buy more of that alt, but if you are not convinced about your investment you are going to begin to second guess your decision to hold for the long term.
Not true, Some people were realized that if the price will have got dumped again and they will be in the loss area and that is the real reason to make those are feeling panic, Because the dump will be affecting their mentality and it can make them feel stressed. Because they are wanna get the profit as much as they can but never try to make a target.

I just found this: "The four simple steps to counter a panic attack: 1. Relax, 2. Stop Negative Thinking, 3. Use Coping Statements, 4. Accept Your Feelings." I should have known about this before I started trading crypto's.
Exactly it is case. Everyone must have known this even he/she is trader or not. Emotions also play with us at bad times especially. Many of us made huge mistakes when indulged in this game of emotions and made wrong move. Same is the case trading. You must not be panic at hard times in trading.
It is not that easy , when you are in the game (while trading) the pressure is so high.
Especially when you do it in huge amount, you won't feel fine to lost even for 1%!
I have experienced it many times , and things could make you relax is when you have a lot of experience enough.

I do not panic actually because panic just leads you into wrong decisions. But when my investment is getting dumped badly, I'm just getting disappointed that I trust them that their value will rise but they never did. Then I will regret that I didn't sell it before, that I hold it for a long time for nothing. But shit happens in our life, if we just know how to control our emotions we will be a good businessman. Being in this business needs a lot of patience that's why we succeed.
This is really happening on trading world on which there would really be point on which we would be a bag holder of those shit coins that didnt tend to pump up again after its getting dumped by its users or investors on which its really a frustrating thing this is why sometimes i can think off that panic selling do have some advantages on this kind of situation but the hardest thing is that we wont know if its the right time to panic sell or not.

Panicking when you reach around 800% profit, then it goes to 650%, then 700%, and you sell at 600% when you see it reach 500% afterwhile and take a break before investing back again when you see a calmer market.
In this case, many of the traders usually sell their coins once the crashing the value is fast, but like what I had observe according to different advise by many, no matter how big the price value drop or fall. Just keep on waiting and be patience, still go for holding with strong determination and belief in the coins.

Well, I haven't done any sell yet but this thread has open my eyes on the potential risk of being too emotional specially seeing a down trend of the market price. I will keep all the advise here in my mind and I hope that I will not do anything stupid when it comes to selling. Its really hard to control our emotions, but I will try to keep it check.

There's a big risk in crypto currencies and if you have a weak feeling or heart you'll feeling sorry about it. And when I panic, I usually almost sell all my stash, all the coins and my main coin which is bitcoin. That's why I hate that feeling when after selling those coins, there's a 50%++ increase and I really regret.
There is always risk in trade because you never get to know what all is happening next. Sometimes you are waiting for a high up in price and suddenly there is a plunge and you are heart-fell on it. You have to control your emotions even if it is a matter of profit or loss but yes its difficult especially in loss when you sell and next day it goes like 20%+
yes no doubt that risk is always there not only in bitcoin trading but in all other trading and investment, in fact no one can predict about trading or investment 100% correct. but if you want to make money then you must take the risk, because there is no such a safe way of trading or investment where the risk of losing money is not involve.
