Spreading the word about bitcoins over the years was hard work. It took many long conversations with my parents to convince them that investing in crypto is not a lost cause and I will not lose all my money. Unfortunately my parents are too old to invest in bitcoins themselves. At their age they need all their money in cash or money market funds, because sudden medical bills or moving into a retirement home would cost a lot of money. My cousin I got very excited about cryptos, every time I see him we talk about it. He is still in school and has no real money to invest himself, but for his birthday this year I will give him a wallet with sie Satoshi. Among my friends everybody knows about bitcoins, and some even invested themselves. But the majority still hold stocks as their main investment. Maybe over time I can convince them to switch more into cryptos.

As a lover of Bitcoin how do you spread Bitcoin, i mean how do you tell people about Bitcoin and it's adoptions?

"My old motorbike"
Make them confused and let them show interest by putting a logo/sticker of Bitcoin on any of my stuff (on my motorbike, dress, and even my workbooks), when they ask, I simply answered the basic information about Bitcoin and give them a link to study it.  Let them know the possible risk and understand it how the system works not the way how they make a profit on it.

Bitcoin is already mainstream, there's no need to convince anyone to believe you regarding Bitcoin but for those who are willing to listen and understand what it's about, I'm willing to spare my precious time to share my knowledge with them.

Wow!
Thanks for the love and promoting the max adoption of Bitcoin, with this everyone along the street and area will know and see for them selves about Bitcoin. Lets keep the word going and spreading all-round.

Hello Leo! You can still win.
If you will want me to be as honest as I used to be, I have this to say.
I have stopped telling the people in my neighbourhood about Bitcoin. The only place I preach about Bitcoin is on social media. When I joined this forum newly, I was overwhelmed to the extent that I go to household to tell them about Bitcoin. I even created Bitcoin questionnaire to know what they think about Bitcoin. But at a point when I discovered that they have started seeing me as a ponzi scheme marketer looking for referrals, I stopped for good.
I am just working hard to atleast live comfortably such that they will have to come to me and ask how they can be like me or just survive. Then, I will have the opportunity to tell them about Bitcoin without much stress.

Always Act Smart and Play Safe With Your Funds
Most at times people falls to understand the word "Bitcoin" and what comes into their heart is SCAM and coupled with the recent increased (ATH)  and later went down many people who bought bitcoin in name of making gain began to lament the news spread all over so whenever i mentioned it Bitcoin they said please forget about it, was it not bitcoin Mr. A to Z bought and he lost his money?
I replied " Is simply because you were not guided properly and buying at the wrong time" maybe you needed a guider someone who will tell you more about how it works, when to buy and when to sell or Holding for long term.
But all the same i as never went fort to stress myself though i do receive inbox on a daily basis for guidance, only explain to those who came to consult me directly instead walking to people and tell them.

For me it just all sort of depends on what situation I’m whether I decide to try and teach others about bitcoin and how it works. As someone who works in finance I’m constantly teaching clients about it. I teach them the basics (how to store bitcoin properly etc). I also advise they watch Andreas Antonopoulos videos as I think he’s the best educator out there.

Hello all,

As a lover of Bitcoin how do you spread Bitcoin, i mean how do you tell people about Bitcoin and it's adoptions?
To me i have held many discussions with friends in college with me, sometimes teaching them blockchain, the future of Bitcoin and why we should buy and hold Bitcoin, how the world will be in 5 years to 10 years to come. With this little meetings i have been able to share with my friends and also spread bitcoin to mates in college and i know they will do the same and if everyone does the same tell me what will be of Bitcoin today. So let us support Bitcoin max Adoption by telling people arounds us, bitcoin remains the future of money.
in the past couple of years of being an crypto believer and user ? i started using my social media as medium and most of them uses also the platform to message me and show interest , but now a day? i tried directly PMming them , because i know the pressure and i know that my help to spread is badly needed.
i have successfully encouraged 15 of my closest friend and family to invest in crypto but of course the amount that they can afford to lose.

The way I was introduced more seriously to it: by talking about the dollar and inflation. Let people find out by themselves what is causing this much inflation (is it really what the mainstream media says?) and this might make them look for alternatives.

I was shocked when I realized inflation was 12% in the US -- many of us who don't live in the S are unaware of how this will leak to all other currencies pegged to the dollar -- but most people do agree that our daily expenses, house prices, etc. are going over the roof in almost any country.

I had to literally beg for a salary increase when I got promoted to Engineering Manager. I got 7%, which meant not enough to even keep up with inflation. That was the day I was ready to go down the rabbit hole.

I try not to bring it up really, as people are mostly in two sides:

  • The ones that think you're crazy for buying something fake with real money and that you're basically gambling
  • The ones that are shilling you some altcoin non-stop after you mentioned Bitcoin, and how their alt is better

I prefer to quietly keep saving my money on the best financial instrument ever created.

These days it has become a common thing to talk about cryptocurrency and quite often I get an opportunity to talk among friends. This all happened because I used to discuss them about the existence of bitcoin years back and none gave it a consideration. Now things have changed and many of my friends have begun to invest and this has made us have atleast a little conversation about cryptocurrency whenever we meet.

For me, the common or basic actions I am doing are via social media. Sharing some posts about Bitcoin, like how it works, and how it can help with our daily lives. Even memes about Bitcoin that you are sharing with social media are already a good move for me.
Another one is asking some businesses if they are accepting Bitcoin as mode of payment, by doing that, they will become curious what Bitcoin is and they will start to look on it.
This is the way, I mean you could talk about it seriously in every place you go to, but they will start to ignore you for sure. However, if you make it a life style in social media then you could influence a lot more people for sure. I know a lot of crypto influencers for example and they reach to people who are not in crypto world as well, they somehow find a way to get in, and get a lot of people from those places.

This means that they bring a ton of people into crypto as well. You do not have to be at influencer level, but you could definitely be doing alright with less and that is why I really like being in the crypto social media world myself.

I often mention BTC's current events to my friends and family.  If they inquire about it during the conversation, I often told them to look at it on the internet followed by warnings about scams and fraud schemes that exploit newbies in the industry.
I rarely share the details about bitcoin, because i thought it may develop wrong perception onto them. So what i did is just to let them research first about bitcoin, and when they find it hard to understand, that's the time i will share them my own version. I guess sharing my past experiences onto them will help them to understand the real concept of bitcoin. That way may lead to their own interest in bitcoin.

Just casually mention it to them, and don't force it down their throats especially if they didn't even show at least a sliver of interest. Unless you have the time to literally explain most of the things about it concerning security and scammers and such; because if you don't and they lose their money one way or another, there's a decent chance that they're going to blame you.
And knowing bitcoin is always associated with scamming, so there's always high chances that we will be the one to blame out from their ignorance. This is why i don't often share about bitcoin into other people, unless if they start asking me and i've seen the interest in them. That way, i'm very willing to explain. I guess helping others who really want to learn about bitcoin is one way i have done my part in spreading bitcoin and the facts about it.

Hello all,

As a lover of Bitcoin how do you spread Bitcoin, i mean how do you tell people about Bitcoin and it's adoptions?

As individuals there are many ways we can help toward contributing to the increase in number for bitcoin adoption, in other to achieve this, we must first be the change agent people would want to see and talk about in bitcoin, meaning you must know it, do it and impacts others genuinely about bitcoin.

We have different awareness strategies we can use in achieving this such as creating a bitcoin adverts on social media, radio and tv station, bills amdy fliers, sign posts, branded clothing materials and on one canvasing, class tutorials and seminars etc.

I don't have any people within me, but I have some around me Wink

I try not to give people anything for free as this makes them lazy, make them feel like they can rely on cash injections from me if they find themselves in harsh times. I don't want to be anyone's loan provider or good uncle that you can always beg for money. Only a few people know how much I have. It's safer this way.

I wouldn't use any visible bitcoin stickers, not because I don't think it's a good idea, but because it makes you a potential target. Some people get personalized plates for their cars or drive around with "bought with bitcoin" stickers. If that doesn't make people envy you and try to report you to the IRS it will make them feel like you got all this for free or by scamming others. This unfortunately is the way many people, especially poor and uneducated, perceive bitcoin.

I had spread the need to start or adopt bitcoin to a lot of my collegues and friends by practically helping some of them to create an online blockchain wallet and taught them  how to initiate transactions e.g sending and receiving Bitcoin, how to copy  and send their BTC addresses, how I used use P2P to exchanged some bitcoin to fiat sent into my bank account e.t.c honestly their responses was very encouraging because a lot of them showed enthusiasm and willingness to start using bitcoin and I am very impressed at the same time willing to continue teaching more collegues and friends.

There some good ways i have share the good news about Bitcoin, a brief of them are ;
The Market place.
Football 4 aside game's.
The public Library around my ends.
The thugs alongside the streets.
I still believes, enough people are still lack enough awareness and people tend to hoard Information about Bitcoin also.
Also, don't force them to invest in it, they should develop interest in Bitcoin, also tell tell when they invest they have to be patient as this are traits you'll see in almost if not every Bitcoiner or Crypto Holder.

I'm sharing all of my knowledge that I know that can help them whenever I hear people talking about Bitcoin or even crypto in general.

I'm an introvert that is why I don't know how to make a first approach when it comes to Bitcoin or whatever topics but when a person or a group of people opened a topic about crypto, I will try my best to share all information that I can share to them. Unfortunately, not many people here in my area knows about Bitcoin but comparing to where it was a few years ago I'm a bit happy that there are some people who are engaging themselves and trying to invest into cryptocurrency and into Bitcoin. This just shows that Bitcoin and crypto are becoming more popular around the world.

My friends know about bitcoin, and I don't impose my interests on them on purpose. I believe that everyone should show their interest, and only then is a person able to fully understand all the advantages of bitcoin. But I will not dissuade anyone either, but I will be honest that not always the money that people invest in their investments, in the case of bitcoin, can bring him quick pluses. It is better to know and be prepared for anything, and then you won’t have to blame those who so confidently lured you into cryptocurrency.

I see more and more friends who share the same passion for crypto and especially Bitcoin. Before 2017, people around me still saw it as a multi-level scam, but when they gradually realized it wasn't so, they automatically spent more time caring for it.
