I have a question, what is the best hardware wallet do you recommend? Base on experience or preferences. Cheesy

I store my bitcoins in my wallet

and i think the wallet is the safest method to store the coins

lol that was obvious! of course you are going to store it in a wallet Cheesy that was generic. op was asking if where do you store, whether on a desktop wallet, hardware, or on cloud.

BTC to the moon is inevitable...

I've been using a Ledger nano for several months now and am loving it.  For a long time I used paper wallets for my storage, but finally decided to try a hardware wallet.  The ledger was cheap and works great.  I can't believe it took me so long to get one.

i was thinking about buying a hardware wallet so i checked Trezor's price and was thrown off by the idea of paying for wallet.
is leger cheaper?

i might still buy one when i have much more bitcoin to store.

You must take security precautions! Hold your coins in multiple wallets its is best solution.
 Blockchain,Multibit..
Also one good amount will be good to be stored in cold wallet!
Always use good strong password and change it periodically!
I do agree with the friends who periodically change the passwords and keep changing it on with strong new password. Besides, as security precautions, we can try the coins in multiple wallets like Multi bit or Block chain etc.

I store my bitcoins in my online wallets, I store my bitcoins in multiple wallets mostly on the block chain because that is the one I trusting the most.
I also have some paper wallets for high amounts of bitcoins that I want to store for a long term, I really love it because its very safe.

You can use electrum wallet for PC wallet storage, at least that way you know that the money is in your pocket, not with a 3rd party.

i think paper wallet is more safety than electrum wallet, but for store online wallet electrum is best choice, no more space requipment not like bitcoin core.

it depends on how you are using Electrum wallet.

if you are using it as an online wallet (means on a computer connected to internet) then paper wallet is safer because it is cold storage (offline)

but you can use Electrum as cold storage too (means only run it on an offline computer) in that case there is no difference in security, and in fact Electrum cold storage is better since you can still use the coins without needing to sweep the keys like paper wallet.

I do the same.
I store my bitcoin funds at blockchain wallet.
I'm content with them and their security is good enough.
When I want to log in, they ask me special code they send to my email address.
In this way, I'm double protected from hacking.

I store my bitcoin in a online wallet, due the security reason I only do this with low amounts of bitcoins, with high amounts I use a paper wallet because that is a lot more secure.
If you ask me its the best to have multiple online wallets and one paper wallet, its working very good for me.

I too have all my bitcoins stored in online wallet. I use few wallets to store as small units. The main reason is that if something goes wrong also it won't affect much, because only a few portion gets lost.

Not if the virus is already on your pc, they can steal the private key when you send the money it gets decrypted in the browser.

You also need to keep your PC secure.
