It is about expectation. Expectation of profit. No one supports nothing without any profit. Good projects easily gain supporters. There are a lot sample this. For example NPXS. Everyone is expecting profit from Pundix token. And so many people is supporting.

Maybe not just a good thing just is desired. only when viewed from the side of the just profit and then become a thing that would be easy to get caught up a scam. the concept of the purpose of the project da will be decisive in this case to watch out for. so while having a concept for a good cause then the profit will come and could follow.

Basically I will check the team behind and the product that they will introduce to the community. A strong team can attract many followers that will create a strong community. This is a reason why a big projects has a solid team and advisors that has already experience in dealing cryptocurrency.

Some kind of projects are just great projects with potentials even without marketing people can see it while some others need some marketing to gain followers and made known to the public through social medias and marketing, that's where bounties and airdrops come to play. While doing bounties and airdrops, you are advertising the project on social media so others can see and check it out.

But to know that, i will need to do many research and thoroughly check the project itself before deciding to join it and that could be a long process to do.

I usually follow it if the program has a very well built whitepaper and if it has future plans for the program in order for it to grow substantially. I always look ahead of time and take it 5 steps in advance if I really want the project to grow. Developer background is another story to tell.
