Greed and gambling is a very bad combination, when you are in winning condition and greedy, you only lost the amount that you win, but if you are greedy and you are losing then its only matter of time you going to bet all in in order to cover your lost part, winning small in gambling can already been consider as very lucky condition

you have to change your way of thinking in gambling, and do not ever try to restore the defeat, eventually you will get greedy when playing. basically you should be able to control yourself.

controlling yourself in gambling are the most important thing ,
but the fact that noone can done that successfully are the problem ,
people are too greedy to have a selfcontrol ,
and gambling itself are all about losing control right?

well if you are addicted to the gambling then you cannot control your greediness usually, im not greedy because i never play until i lose

Well in the past i had the ilusiong taking control over me, lost some thousands of dollars, till i learn those are something that even with prizes wont come to me, soo i stopped when i saw the ammount losted and said enought, must stop before i loose all my savings to gamble. Nowadays while in a while i make some bets and just.

It usually takes a very, very long time. And except that.. in the end, when you will get the reward of 500BTC, it might seem a lot but if you calculate you would have wagered more money than that. It's a strategy for the casinos, because otherwise everyone would win so easy.

E.g. to get the 9900x payout on Dice games, you have to roll about 10-12k bets (I've tested it many times with prerolls). If you calculate it.. let's say you want to win 9900 satoshis. You are going to play with 1 satoshi. It would take you 10-12k satoshis to finally win. The loss can be less or more than that. Same thing goes for 4950x, 2475x and so on.. until 1.01202x. this is the strategy.

I am greedy and I acknowledge this fact. I have lost a shitload of money trying to win the jackpot. Its an illusion which is becoming an obsession trying to win a jackpot and be rich and finally to be able to quit gambling. A jackpot of 500 BTC would be enough for me and I live dreaming that one day I will hit it.

well nothing really comes out good from being greedy. with gambling, there will be a couple of times when you will win. it now depends on how you handle your luck. you should know when to stop. i know a few who already won big in casinos and still went home empty handed, even broke because they didn't know when to stop.

I am not greedy. I lost the same money I won from gambling. So the result is zero. I like to gamble, but I am afraid to make higher bets to not loose too much money, so I gamble with little money and if I win something - it is also little money. But if to see here on all of those comments people are lose in their bigger mass. So gambling can be profitable just for little number if someone.

I am glad to hear that, because with so how are you using to minimize an addiction that will surely get you if do gambling by way of a greedy and too brutal. We did have to press myself so bad impact of gambling not we get

I have selected that i am a bit greedy and there is a close competition but majority of users here think that they are smart enough and gamble according to their plan and strategies.
I also make plan before gambling or betting in sports but if i win or loose my i forget my plans and start betting on different things in which i had no plan sometimes i win but more times i loose and thats my weakness which i want to change.

Really thank you very much for sharing your gambling experience. But every gambler must need those lessons to achieve his smartness while gambling. In order to stay without being greedy, definitely a gambler must need his own lessons and till you feel the pain of losses after being greedy, you will never think to avoid it.

This is true. It needs alot of discipline or self control to stop oneself from betting when you are winning. But few people can do this. By setting a qouta when playing the game. Both winning and lossing should have qouta, the one you can afford to lose and the one when you hit when you are winning. This will at least put you on the safer side away from gambling addiction.
