Gambling should be done for fun and exitement with the option to win some money while knowing that the odds are against you.
People who gamble should always be aware that what they're doing isn't a long term money maker. Especially if they play games where it seems like you can realistically have odds(PvP games,sportsbetting) a large number of people seems to think that the odds are in their favor because they think they are such good players even though the average house edges are way higher than in games like dice and the number of people who win money in the long run is incredibly small.

yes, gambling on dice is genrally not profitable in the long run, but in more predictable gambling such as sports betting, it can be profitable with hadicapping. It can also be profitable in the long run for more skill based gambling like poker, ive seen people at (real life) casinos that practically live there.

im not greedy at all there are allot of peole who wish everybody the best luck in the world. But if people are thinking about the gold they could get instead of wishing others the best luck people would change. Gold make people dangerous because you can say allot only gold matters.

The first step I learned when I entered into gambling is emotion control. My mentor taught me about being clever all the time while gambling. If you want to apply your knowledge in your gambling then you need to be emotion free.

I believe I'm not greedy with my gambling as I always bet with small amount and leave gambling after my winning.

I think im greedy if i gamble the giveaway bounties and i really bet all in because it is just a bounty but if i bet my very own money i think im meticolous and careful because i am not totally gambler and i lose so much rather than winning and by this state, i really keep gambling with discipline because i know i will lose money in gambling for a long run so thats why i do it really in proper moderation.

To be honest, I think I'm pretty greedy to say the least. I lose so much money simply because I was greedy, and I go all in and do some stupid crap. I could easily avoid those consequences by doing honest work and earning the needed money.

Also I invest in things that I should not have. I have made loans to people that are not trustworthy enough, but I still loan for the potential profit. Almost all of the times I get scammed.

But now, I am going to change. I am going to be less about the greed and instant profit and more investing and saving for the long term. And it's going to work for me.

I can be greedy but I think that is a good thing when it comes to gambling. I am greedy in a way that I do not like to lose my own money so I am very careful when I am going to gamble.
When it is enough I just stop playing.

Yes chief i agree on this ,i am also greedy when i am winning i don't have set limits on winning and on loosing until i reached the end that i am loosing all my money ,when grediness attacks on my mind i have no control (mental block?) .i don't even recognize advices of my friends.

I am not that greedy and I also now the moment to stop so that is safe otherwise you are playing gambling until you will become poor and that is bad if that happens to you.
Of course gambling let you think that you can earn some money with it but that is actually not true, you just have to be lucky if you want to get profit with gambling.

How i wish i can belong to the smart people. I have been losing a lot whenever i gamble, both in btc or in real life.

I was greedy to but then i started gambling disciplined and it lost less and also gambled less. You should gamble only for entertainment (a hobby) and the rest of the time make sure you have other things you can do with your time (behind a pc).

Exactly, I used to gamble with higher money earlier, but after some huge losses I limited my investment in gambling and now I gamble only for fun.

Yup you are indeed correct, because most people will never satisfied on what they got and will try to get more and more. But in fact they will lose anything instead of making more money.

Yup, however it is wise to take calculated risk. Risk that will more likely to help you rather than harm you. SO gambling is usually more harmful than helping.

Most of the big stake gamblers are greedy. For me, I am not gambling at all, only with faucets that are given from the gambling sites, such as on Primedice.com and others. I wont gamble ever, because it's always smarter and better to invest money rather than risking to lose them for fun. I never gambled with more than 1000 satoshi which I got from a primedice faucet.

So yeah, I do not think I'm greedy at all.

Yes you are right about that, and you choose good word " we are so foolish ". We always think that our moment came, and we try to push our luck a bit more and that is moment when we are losing all our cash in gambling. Stupid investments are totally different thing.

If I can make any conclusion after all this comments that I saw, we are all greedy. Or at least have it in us, but its something that we can learn to forget and to keep playing with patience and self control.

Gambling is game of nerve`s, so don't get nervous and don't fly. Most important is to have a cool head. I`m still learning and I`m catching my self in that " greedy " feelings, to wish more.. but I`m learning to STOP. And its going good for now.

AFAIK, greedy can be control and only be control by yourself. Your family environment also support this since if there is no support from your family to stop gamble, it will difficult to stop it.
Luckily I can control my greed so when I face loss, I try to stop gamble for a moment until I ready to gamble again !
