I read all the books and watched all the movies, but it hasn't infiltrated my daily life at all, unless you count wanting to write a phenomenal series like JK Rowling and earning all that money from the royalties and movies and products.

Never read the books, there are many better ones.
How can you know if you've never read them?
why take the risk anyway..!

its much more fun to read all the threads here rather than harry potter Cheesy there is a lot of good books out there
I saw the movies and they were boring, didn't like the story or the style, they were too childish, so I decided books would be a waste of time, especially that I have other things to read.

I've only watched the first two or tree movies, and stopped because of it was becoming more and more ridiculous, Maybe also moving from teenage to adulthood has also something to do with it, But I respect the fact that you like the books and the movie, I might give the movie another shot and try to finish them all a Sunday afternoon

In one evening? There's like 8 of them or something or do you mean the remaining ones you havent seen.. Most films I've ever watched in a day was three and it's exhausting.

I watched four once but you do feel drained after. It's not uncommon for me to watch two films back to back and even that can be tiring. Not good to sit in front of tv continually for that long especially without breaks either.

I never really cared for the books. They were enjoyable but vastly overrated. I've only seen the first film. I want to watch them all again though, especially the ones with Gary Oldman in.

Well that was unexpected... I doubt that someone is taking Harry Potter story seriously and trying to implement stuff from there in his life.

If you think that fictionals stories don't influence the lives of those who take part in them, you suffer from a serious lack of imagination.
