what was your attitude when you first got into bitcoin? was it to get rich quick? make some dollars? learn the tech?

and how has it changed the more you've learnt? did you go from a moon kid to a serious scholar of the tech or even more of a moon kid than before?

i started off as interested in the dollars, then got more and more fascinated by the whole world around it, now i think i'm starting to come out the other side a little.

the more i've learnt about this scene the more screwed up it seems and i don't see how it's gonna cure itself. there's money to be made but i might be doing it no longer believing in its immediate future.

cryptocurrencies will never go anywhere but i'm starting to think what's around us now will be looked back on as the experimental and growing pains phase rather than anything that directly survives and is built on into the future. uncool but from the heart.

what about you?

when I was started into bitcoin I don't know anything in online, it was a disaster to me how am I gonna do it or how am I gonna undertand it quickly, but as time pass by Bitcoin teach me how to become resourceful, and to be economize too. And now I know how to save for my future through saving bitcoin on my wallets.

I am working hard for small wage so at first, for me Bitcoin was something that give me dream to get rich one day ( something like lottery, i am playing one lottery ticket weekly so i can dream about getting jackpot). But as time pass, i am actually starting to use Bitcoin more and more as real currency. It is stunning technology and i am sure it will be revolution of money (online and in real world.)

It definitely did. I preferred to stay on FIAT side when i was making trades on the exchanges for a long time because i was afraid to lose money while holding bitcoins.

But in time, I saw that i was actually losing money while i was holding FIAT Undecided When i realized that, i told myself whatever the fuck happens, i won't cash out my bitcoins, never. (maybe till i buy a house or smth)

I broke that promise when the price was 1040 or smth, and it rose to 1270 after i did the trade. I was fucked again. I saw the 1270 bubble and posted in my graphs, but if i had bitcoins at that time, i probably wouldn't have done the trade because my emotions would have kicked in.

Long story short; fuck trading. Hold them till you need them.

Honestly, when I first known about Bitcoin, I think of it as some kind of scheme, or gimick so I let time pass by and then I stumbled on it again and saw how many people are into it.  Then I came to a conclusion that this gimick will help me in my financial status.  I never thought of Bitcoin as get rich scheme but rather a new horizon of opportunities.  And I seen that it is true, but somehow to get into that opportunities I have to learn the needed knowledge to take advantage of it.  And still learning about these opportunities.

I don't know maybe because I found it looks cool to have some Bitcoin or maybe I just got a new bunch of friends because of Bitcoin.

The more I learn about bitcoin, the more I know that it has and will benefit me in the long run. Like I'm just earning bitcoin from signature campaign which is a lot, but I can use it  to trade to earn more. So it gives me an alternative that while I'm learning about it, I was able to earn as well. So the potential to profit is there, you just have to learn it the hard way. But that is more rewarding for me. So I think I will be using it for a long time.

The more that I use Bitcoin, the more I learn that Bitcoin has plenty of things that could be useful in things beyond Bitcoin.
For instance; Economically, Bitcoin has different news posted within the forum from people from everywhere in the world. Learning new things about the current situations and the past things like the Cyprus Banking Situation made a bunch of people well informed on what's going on behind the scenes.

When i first heard about bitcoin i didnt put much attention in it, i created web wallet because it is required by an investment program that i want to join in but when that investment ended, my friend told me that bitcoin is actually useful and its not just a digital currency. i became interested especially after i knew that you can earn money through it by investing. i didnt think of being rich quick, step by step i know that all my efforts will be worth it if you keep on achieving your goal.
It's actually difficult to try something new to our life specially when it involves our money that would be put at stake in order to try that thing. However, this wrong decisions shouldn't be regret by someone since choosing to avoid risk is the first choice of someone who want to protect their capital. Yet, people who aren't affraid to risk their money are those people who succeed because they tried something that could give them a lot of advantages.

I had dollar signs in my eyes at first. I quickly discovered something I never expected; that the ability to print money is perhaps the most influential form of power there is.

And when I discovered how that power has been abused, and how the abuse is hidden from the public, I've never looked back.

what was your attitude when you first got into bitcoin? was it to get rich quick? make some dollars? learn the tech?
Honestly I entered into bitcoin as a payment processor because I ran few online freelancing jobs and few of my employees asked for bitcoin payments. After that I came knowing about this forum and find many earning opportunities associated with bitcoin ecosystem.

Now I believe I can make dollars with bitcoin related things toward the journey of finding myself richer (but not in quick time, I am sure). When we are coming across more opportunities, it is obvious that our attitude will get changing over time.

I have learned a lot from using bitcoin.

The biggest lesson I've learned is: never invest in ponzis.

My first usage of bitcoin is when I looked at this supposedly amazing program which mined oil from the Middle East and produced amazing returns that accounted to something like around 20% per week.

I was thrilled to hear that, i spent all my days investing and reinvesting, until eventually the program died.

I think this told me that there will never be a free lunch in this world. Everything comes at a cost.

About two years ago I entered in the bitcoin but I was totally stupid in this field .
One of my friend at Facebook which belongs to the different state , explained me about the bitcoin .
Once he said that a site cheated with him then j Became fully fear that if a site can scam a fully experienced person then what I am , at the same time I exited from the bitcoin but again I entered in this field after a long study about its advantages .
I entered in the last of the 2016 again and I see that there is a legit way to make money from the trading and Mining ( hardware and cloud from hashocean that ran away with scam Sad )

Definitely in my case it is to get rich quick.

I strongly believe that a lot of other people have started the same way as i started, naive, immature, thinking bitcoin is the way for them to get a million dollars in no time, thinking that they have the perfect strategy in gambling, etc etc.

I first looked at bitcoin when i looked at options to gamble anonymously online, as a result i came across sites such as PrimeDice and Just-Dice.

I was spending up to 6 hours a day on these sites just reaping faucet and chatting away, and when i had that 0.1 BTC i would deposit and lose it all.

Definitely not a good idea to gamble, there is no perfect strategy. House always wins.

However bitcoin gives you the opportunity to essentially bet against the gamblers as well, which means that you can be the house. That way, you can win in the long run instead of losing all the time.

I was excited when I inquired about bitcoins and I made further research Then I realized that a lot of opportunities abound in Bitcoin I  inquired about how to get satoshis using faucets but the satoshis I earned in faucets was very small and time wasting I was discouraged but when I came across this site I got a lot of information on how to earn Bitcoins Then my attitude changed for better.

I started bitcoin as a fun activity where I can made some money, but after a long time I am in bitcoin world there are so many people like to used bitcoin and there are so many industry still hasn't been touched by bitcoin, so I think there are so many things that still can be developed using crypto currencies, now I see bitcoin as business opportunities
