bitcoin price doesn't have to be really high for me to be able to live off of bitcoin. i can make money with bitcoin at any price , as long as there are jobs to do online and also as long as there is trading going on (mostly altcoin trading) i can make more bitcoin and turn into money if needs be.

Seriously this bitcoin passive income is helping many people whom I have met in the forum. They have said this threads and some of friends also said this. I do exchange the bitcoins whenever I do not have enough fiats with me.

The current exchange rate of PhP 47,167 per 1 btc is more than enough to live off for a month. I'm currently working from home, when I used to work in a BPO company the salary was 20K - and that's already way above minimum wage. I'm not sure about living off bitcoin though. This current rate makes it hard for me to buy bitcoins for investing so the best I can probably do to get more is work online.

I'm not sure how to use it as a passive income. I know that the price keeps rising but if you are just going to pull out some of your profits for your expenses, that would mean you'd be left with less btc, right?

This might be off-topic but since I've already mentioned passive income, are there advertisers that pay in bitcoins? I mean, other than signature campaigns in forum like this. I've never blogged before but I've heard bloggers are paid for ads placed on their site.

Right now, I have BTC0.0915 with me. I need at least $2.5 million to live comfortably. So after all the calculations, I need an exchange rate of around $25 million per coin to live off Bitcoin.

I know that it is impossible. So, I never plan to live off Bitcoin. For me, Bitcoin is more like a passive source of income.

I wish bitcoin to survive long to give life to more and more users directly and indirectly. The present price itself seems good to have a comfortable living in a third world country, if he can earn at least 1btc. Earning access needs to be increased for the better profitability.

I think your question is not complete. But to answer your question, I may say the price is not worth for us, it's all depend on how much bitcoin do we have in our wallet.
Let's say I have 2 btc in my wallet, and bitcoin's price are in $10.000. well, I have $20.000 now on my wallet. But honestly, when the price is touch that price, who can predict the future of the basic needs too. I have $20.000 to invest but I have to buy breads for $12 per day.
Just calculate it if don't get what I mean.

Again, it s not about checking price every day and doing calculations. It s about patience.

So I wont say what would be the price I d like to see, I ll say I ll keep BTC 2 more years and sell at that price.
As long as bitcoin can still give me profit, I will continue to support it. With ways that we can do easily like having fun in online gambling, doing micro jobs for small earners and for serious earners we have trading and online investing.

It will never end as the process is very long and will continue to grow as what we expected, the move we stay here, we will surely be benefit.

It's hard to say because Bitcoin is very volatile but having in mind how much I earn from signature campaign Bitcoin should be worth at least 5000$ that I could cover my expenses. I'm usualy optimist but I don't think we will see that price soon and I can't relay only on Bitcoin as income spurse though that would be nice.

Many wealthy people can live off the interest of the money they have in the bank,or other passive income,  How high would Bitcoin price have to be for you to live off Bitcoin?

Until the life expenses are not running in bitcoin , i mean until the bitcoin valuation is not calculated in fiat currency till then who ever is holding bitcoin cannot get fully assured of his wealth value , so i think until the bitcoin are not converted to the fiat currency no users can tell how much is sufficient to live off in life. Because everyone have its own wishes and dreams, so no one can tell that this much is enough and if he gets more then he wont give it back.

10 times higher then now,or the higher the better. Grin

I`m not sure that it`s possible for bitcoin to reach $10,000,but it would be great.

There is trouble abrewing
the price of bitcoin is not a factor here. if i have a couple of bitcoin and price goes to a crazy price like 1 million each then i can sell and live off. but if it we are talking about normal life then first i either have to be good at trading to make lots of profit enough to make a living or  price has to be stable and i have to earn it through other jobs.

I think it's not depends on how high bitcoin price is, but how much bitcoin we have. Our main focus is we should earn bitcoin as much as we can. For now, bitcoin price is near $1000, if we could have and save much bitcoin, we can make bitcoin as passive income and it could cover our expenses.

If I have an investment that earns me 1 bitcoin per month, even if the price drops to 500$, I am still well off.

But if I am only to live off the bitcoin I have now for my entire life, then the price should reach millions and that may not still be enough.

the rest of my days? one hell of a lot more than it is now. well over $100,000 to be absolutely sure.

there really aren't too many people who'll be retiring at $5-10,000. those who say they will probably can't do basic math which seems to be an extremely common disability here.

The value of Bitcoin would probably have to be fairly high for me to effectively live off of it, assuming that I was earning what I do now and it wouldn't change under the new values. Probably not that high if I had to live off of it solely, but something around $10,000 would more than likely be far more than enough for me to earn a living off of the things I do now. Not an expensive and lavish life, but satisfactory.

Many wealthy people can live off the interest of the money they have in the bank,or other passive income,  How high would Bitcoin price have to be for you to live off Bitcoin?

The concept of interest only applies to the fiat world, because fiat money is subject to inflation via expansion of its monetary base. This does not apply to Bitcoin, because its maximum supply is fixed at 21 million units.

Therefore expecting to be able to live of interest / passive income by just holding Bitcoin shows a fundamental lack of understanding the fundamentals of the currency. Bitcoin does not need to provide interest, because it just maintains its purchasing power.

The only healthy source of income comes from work, sales or providing venture capital.

ya.ya.yo!
You could argue that the rise in value of Bitcoin is also a form of interest, since your investment keeps growing from a fiat perspective.

To answer OP, if it goes above 50k, I'm pretty much set Smiley

It all depends on what exactly I'll be doing and whether or not I'll be earning more Bitcoin in the meantime, or if I'll be living just off of what I have going for me right now.

if it's just for what I have with no earning capacity, then I need some large amount of value, $100,000/BTC would be beneficial and could probably let me live in my care for the majority of the remainder of my life with what I have, if I was to never earn again.
