I am new to the forum. I welcome myself to the forum because I know  I will learn more here than the classroom. I was thought in the class about bitcoin and the teacher was very good and sound in bitcoin,  but there are some areas the teacher could not explain well so we were asked to come here to continue the learning. So that is how I found myself here.

It is a good experience to meet this teacher, knowledge has been impacted on us. So I will also need the forum gurus (experts) to continue from my teacher in any question arises from me. I will be appreciated if I am not castigated for my ignorance but guided.

Many are still roaming around without knowing BTC.

Ignorance is a disease

OP said he was introduced to or taught about Bitcoin in a classroom. Recently the forum has been flooded with threads of some selfless members that created awareness of Bitcoin in different areas. Maybe this is a student that was in one of those awarenesss classes. It seems the forum has begun to reap from the tireless efforts of these members. We might soon have more of these students joining the forum because they have developed an interest in Bitcoin.

My advice to you OP is that you invest more time in learning and observing in this great forum. If you don't have any idea about a thread, do your research and read other people's comments. It is not compulsory that you must comment on threads.
Your commitment to the forum would determine how much you would learn.

You are welcome.

Op, welcome to the bitcointalk.org forum.
Since you are seeking more knowledge about bitcoin then all I can say is that you are in the right place cause bitcointalk can enhance, guide, and teach you all you want to know. All you need is to spend more time to read than to post anything. Also don't fo to know the forum rules and regulation as this is the very important thing to know in order to stay here.

It is good to hear about your teacher,I see the important of been part of this community, people from this forum go outside this forum to teach people about btc and to spread the awareness which is very awesome. Your teacher did well, to also introduce you to this forum where you can continue learning from where your teacher stopped. You have been given so many articles to read by members of the forum, take your time to read and learn more so that you can also teach other people outside the forum. Enjoy yourself and acquire good knowledge on btc. You are welcome OP

What exactly did your teacher teach you about?
Is it all about bitcoin development? Then there are sources that I know can help you with Bitcoin development.

Check these links below.

- https://github.com/yjjnls/awesome-blockchain/blob/master/BitCoin/awesome.md

These two links should be enough to learn how Bitcoin was created and how to develop bitcoin and it also includes books and courses. I'm sure you are more advanced than your teacher.

Welcome to the forum @OP and you have been suggested the right place for having adequate knowledge about bitcoin if you are interested to have and explore different threads and engage yourself in active discussion here. But I am also curious to know like others is there a subject in your school that have bitcoin usage in it or some teacher in your locality voluntarily educating you about it? There are some threads on forum where we see members spreading awareness about bitcoin to neighbour and school kids so is it same kind or something different would you tell us?

However, because you will have a lot of questions and want to avoid asking what has already been discussed many times, learn how to use the forum's search feature.

But I think he will be in more complex situations to filter out the results with the forum search function as it's kind of messed up while giving out the results. However we can filter out our request but still hard so my advice is to simply google search with bitcointalk.org at the last and will be presented with most of the threads having your keywords as follows:

Code:
 How to make tables bitcointalk
How to make bitcoin wallet bitcointalk
How to rank up and have merits bitcointalk

Welcome here OP, good that your curiosity has led you here. Now that you are here, can you give some examples of some of the questions that you inquired to know answers which led you here? I am sure many people in this forum are in suspense to know the questions your teacher could not answer,  you should be interested right away to know the answers, or are you not?

Welcome to the forum, OP; it's nice that you have a classroom where you learn about Bitcoin and also got referenced here to learn more.

As you are here, be open-minded to learning and stay out of forum drama as you develop yourself by reading and responding to threads. is not a mandate that you must respond to every thread you come across; read through threads to be sure you don't repeat other members' opinions.

Try reading up on these guidelines when you find space; it also helped me.

[Guide] Searching effectively; Knowing how to search in this forum is very vital.

Make your topic title, posts more attractive; This thread also helped me understand how to create a good post.

Bitcoin for Beginners by Andreas Antonopoulos; I got referred to this content when I first hit this forum as a newbie, and it helped a lot.

If there is something you don't understand so well, use the search handle; if you don't seem to find a result, you can create a thread for it.

Welcome aboard, friend. I will see you around.

Greetings, OP. What class are you talking about? Does anyone in your area teach bitcoin and also offer to join this forum? It is very interesting where such wonderful things happen.
OP, your youth has great advantages over education. Do not stop being interested in Bitcoin; read and ask, and you will be able to build your future very successfully.
However, because you will have a lot of questions and want to avoid asking what has already been discussed many times, learn how to use the forum's search feature.

I appreciate your words of encouragement. Yes there is a teacher in my school teaching students on bitcoin, the class is always interesting. Though I have graduated from the school in this December 2022. He introduced many students, who have graduated from the school to join here to further our learning.

The way my Mentor introduced bitcoin to us, I will never loss interest. A good student learn from a good teacher and also teach others. Yes definitely I will read and ask the ones that difficult to understand. Thanks for the link.

I always appreciate good work

Now I wonder which one is the user who teach you and recommend you to register on this forum?

Anyway this forum is the best if you want to learn about Bitcoin, you can visit on Development & Technical Discussion and Bitcoin Technical Support board to read the most important discussion about Bitcoin.

Usually for newbie I don't really recommend to read on speculation and trading discussion boards since it's full of own opinions.

You’re in the best place to save yourself from wage slavery & oppressive governments later in life my friend.
Bitcoin will save you from governments stealing your savings through stealth tax (inflation). There are a lot of super smart people here. You don’t need to get involved in every conversation but a little bit of voyeurism is a great help. There is lots of very good information to feast on.

If you have any questions, there are lots of people willing to help. This forum is invaluable & so much better to pick things up than something like bitcoin twitter which is a waste of time.

Welcome to the forum! We're glad to have you here.

I'm sure you're going to have a great time here and learn a lot, so I encourage you to take some time to browse through the existing discussions and get a feel for the community. While we love open and honest discussions, we also want to keep the conversation here meaningful and valuable for everyone. Just make sure to steer clear of those low-quality, garbage posts. We don't want any of that junk cluttering up the place.

This is an example of what I'm talking about:

Quote
Should your wife or husband know your seed phrase?
This is a rhetorical question. As a man that f a high caliber, reputable character in the society supposed know what to do. Charity and liberality is from the heart. So given out you seed phrase or mnemonic key is from the Liberal perspective. If you know that they can keep the key safe and the funds or coins would not be tempered any then you have to. But whereby they are not trustworthy, I will advise you to steer clear from them because at the end they will cripple you to zero wallet. Instead of giving them the seed, teach them how to invest.

But hey, we've all been there! We've all accidentally posted something we regret. Just try to have fun, be respectful, and keep an open mind. Happy posting!
