I don't think bad about 1st august because I'm more optimistic about what will happen on August 1st
i am actually very excited. and i get excited like this very often, whenever i am getting some additional money that i can invest in bitcoin.
right now i am counting the seconds that i can start receiving my airdrops and then rush to dump them. i wonder how fast i can perform all this, it is a race after all.
and then that is a lot of free money, and another race to buy bitcoin with all the free money i've got before BTC price goes higher. as i said it is a race after all.
i am going to be floating in adrenaline that day

I am most worried about right now is that the BTC-e will be shut down for the next 10 days as all of my assets are listed on the floor and can not be withdrawn. I do not fear August 1, I just fear BTC-e collapse
Optimistic about 1 august, nothing to worry about. Just move your coins to cold storage and its safe.
I'm a bit more worried about the miners withdrawing segwit support end of the month. Miners are unreliable.

I am nervous only for the fact that I still am not sure about the fate of future coins being sent to previously used addresses from before the fork. Optimistic still, because I know Bitcoin will skyrocket beyond our wildest dreams.
Feeling meh because either way, we should be alright in the long run.
I feel the same, which is why I'm taking a wait and see approach without considering any trades in the short term. In the long run the community will decide the best way forward, its the beauty of decentralization.

Base in my observation many of the community in this forum believed in bitcoin split, which is so sad this is just showed that still majority of the bitcoin users and believers are easy to believed in the rumors by the others.
I don't think that this is something that we should worry about because nothing negative is going to happen on that day. In fact, I am optimistic about the event and I believe that we will see a significant increase in the user base within few months after this event. There will be lower transaction fees and faster confirmation time so nothing to worry about it.

Mixed feeling on here. I do feel bit excited and little bit worried. Excited to see to solve scaling issues which is really a good thing for bitcoin which potential new comers would really see bitcoin not having some problems regarding on this matter. Little bit worried on split that it might really give negative impact on bitcoins price.Most people say here that price would shoot up but i would say we cant still be sure if those things would really happen on August 1 later on. I am deeply afraid and also worried about hardfork update on August 1st. Every traders and investors are waiting and hoping for the better. Let us wait what will happen before and after August 1st.
Well most of the bitcoin community are worried about the hardfork update on August 1st others are loosing their hope but if we have trust to bitcoin then lets this issue pass and just hold on... We are all in this together whatever happen bitcoin will surpass all these drama.
I'm feeling quite 'Meh' to be honest. My coins are safe & I don't expect there to be much happen with the price, nothing significant any way so yeah, Meh!

I think there is no more to be fear because it is up to bitcoin if it is fall or rise. I think if bitcoin falls it will sharply recover when bitcoin price is starting to rise again. However, August 1st is the day that holders can be fear too because it is depend on their bitcoin's status. But in my own opinion no more to fear about it. Well I'm optimistic because it will put an end to a lot of FUD going around about bitcoin so confidence can recover at least until the next hard fork.
Replay attacks is a real concern though but I think what will happen is just that transactions will come to a virtual standstill for 12-48 hours until this is solved rather than people losing a lot.

if everyone has secured their bitcoin as per all the advice on this forum there will not be a problem.
Yes the price MAY fall and/or it MAY rise but 1 BTC will still be 1BTC and longterm the value will be healthy.

This is the wise decision. I do it too. If everyone adhered to such tactics then there would be no problem. And no whales would have bought bitcoins and users have cleaned pockets of the whales. This would benefit all users.

Here personally I am not in tension at all because all the technology that the blockchain is using can't be bad or can't harm our bitcoin , because already we have seen that many types of the fork happen successfully ( since here something went very new ) .I"m personally a little worried a lot of people could lose bitcoins due to replay attacks.
Here only a single thing happen that is splitting , Now here if the bitcoin will split another side then surely we need to make some change by a given software and if our btc will remain at the same side then we don't need to do anything.
So here you can see what is going different or strange that is risky.
Here I am totally free from all type of tensions .
