Hi guys! if you trade,  how long do you hold your coins?. How would you know if you have to let go or sell you coins or still have to keep it?.

You should continue to monitor market, If the price is good option to release is better

yes, i agree. We just can predict the most reasonable price to the max. Usually up to 5% is a good time to sell and change to the other one

i chose coins for long term, short term and between them
the profits of the short term can go to investment in the long term coins Smiley

if I play tranding, when will I sell the coin?
I will sell if I already get 100% profit from my tranding capital
and I will hold the coin if I have not earned my profit or still little profit

Forever. It's my preferred store of value compared to fiat which just stays in banks and gets worth less and less every day.
I have 50/50 in stocks and crypto

Well I'd say it depends on many factors, such as the teams that developp and market it, political changes... I personally have been holding two coins for long term profit while trading a lot of others for quick profit.

of course we can not limit on how long hold bitcoin, because it depends on the investment we do and I agree with you certainly many factors that cause restrictions on investments in doing.
and of course trading faster to earn profits when compared with investment.

The only coin I hold for long is Bitcoin and some few others aside that every other is for trading purpose in which I can buy and sell repeatedly within few days from each other because when it comes to coins that are not too popular the right timing is the key to make the most profit because when that is missed, one might to be constrained to either wait for too long or cut losses and move to the next coin.

I will hold my coins until it reaches my target and sometimes if it keeps on increasing I will wait until it reaches the tip of that pump and sells my coins. This trick is only for altcoins not for Bitcoin. I am saving Bitcoin for future use so if it dumps or pump I will not care. When ever I need money I just sell that much Bitcoin and remaining I will save. I decided to see the highest price of this Bitcoin.

I hold coins when the coin is Stable at the moment or
going up.
or when i trade it in low price and then continue to grow.
just always be aware when they are going to crash so you can be always ready

The longest time that i hold my coins was about 1 year and that is really worth it because it 20x my capital because of its huge gain in the market after a year and i am very happy about that because that help me to fund all the things that i want like my dream car and my dream house and getting a good life with the help of my coins that i held for just a year which is far way better than stock market.

If we buy coin then fast time we need to research every coin after then we have to buy. another thing is that  just wait for it to grow. actually it depends on the coins how long i have to hold or wait . if i need money then i have to sold the coin so here depends on money crisis .i will keep it as long as profit when I sell coin.we must follow the future of coin otherwise can be lose.  so many people selling of coins when they profit but it is not right because you have to see future of coin.

I hold the coins in my portfolio once I see it is profitable. But if I see the altcoin I invest in is good project and I study the roadmap of the coin, I usually hold for a long term.

I will hold my coins not that longer because it has a possibility to price down. Also, I want to make it a real money and I want to hold it already. I might regret it that I did not hold it much longer, at least I hold it already and used it for my needs.

Depend on the potential each coin...  but for the coin that good in fundamental and has big volume and marketcap i usually hold in amonth then take profit and buy back other coin that on the deep price. Also i bought 5 coin to minimize the risk.

It all depend on your target and the market liquidity. You need to set your exit point before your entry into the market. Once your exit price is filled then off you go.

the main rule i use usually consist of "don't be greedy" & "point of profit".
quite simple actually, just decide your "point of profit", and when your coin hit it, just think "is it enough?", if yes then sell, if not then hold
but when you hold, think again "am i greedy?", if yes then hold, but when you fail to make profit because of that, don't be salty because that is your decision.

TL;DR: Those who want to get a lot usually get nothing, well there is some exception for lucky people though.  Wink

If price go up 10-30% then sell. If it's falll down so we just hold. If coin can survival it's will recover again.

I am afraid this does not apply to each and every coin. I hope you were thinking this through before posting. I am afraid if people will target 10-30% everytime, they would either lost what they should have gained or gained much less than what they should. Please set your limit according to targets according to a certain coin and project.
