I'm able to stay away in gambling for this past 5 months and i only play gambling again in this semi finals of NBA and finals. I think i can stay out more up to one year if i wanted and it would become an easy for me since i already did it and i can control myself not to bet in any games and visit a gambling or casino.
Some of the gamblers are addicted so much to these casino games so they can't stay without playing even a single day.
I can stop completely without gambling and can control myself.

I agree with you because only can self control to stop playing gambling, addicting are only the mind of people can't control it. focus for the family bonding for a meanwhile to forget gambling in my mind that's the best way TO STOP GAMBLING spending time with the family.
Never gone for casinos too much, but what I had as a bad habit was the sports addiction. I used to gamble too much BTC on sports, especially soccer (when the value was very less - and I regret why didn't I save). I was a cold-blooded gambler who used to gamble on the hound of a stick. I didn't lose too much when the value of BTC rose because during such times, I was getting some overwhelming wins (but less BTC compared to what I gambled some time ago). I regret for those times even though being in profits. I had a resolution that if BTC reaches $15k, I'll stop gambling it forever on anything and will just earn them. That's the only reason I don't gamble anymore. It's something you need to stick to, because one should have the will power to keep their own words at least.
I never consider gambling is source of income so I used to gamble when I have some free time because gambling is just game inorder to relief the stress. So for me, gambling is just for fun and not for income.

Honestly I still gamble but I already put limitation to it and I look for another ways to make my self busy or divert into something that I know well.
This is what every addicted people have to do,strong determination will help us to stay away from addiction by still doing the gambling.This is only possible when we realize that the gambling is just a fun purpose so we have to enjoy it rather than spoiling our life and wealth into it.As you said we have to keep ourselves busy in the life to avoid any kind of addictions but it will be better to taste anything for once a while.

What a good thing it would have been if all the gamblers would have the same thinking as you are having because then no one would have to suffer the consequences of gambling. Gambling should be done must for fun seeking or to experience something new in your life rather than to think it as a source of income because then the person is drowned.

Gambling is only for fun to me also so it won't be a problem if I go for years without playing. Most of the time I lose so I have a reason to convince myself to quit gambling. You will find so many gamblers who are this much into gambling that they can’t even wait for a day or two and that they will keep on visiting the casinos and will then lose their money. If you want to play safe, then you must avoid this habit of going into casinos for as long as you could and that you need to stay there at your home utilizing that money at some better place rather than wasting it.

You should even be thankful you were able to recover from your addiction as it is not always an easy thing since most addicts close their mind from reasoning like a normal human and even if you tell them the truth, they simply turn deaf ears to you like you are some moron who definitely has no idea what he says.Anyone who wants to gamble should actually have more than enough to throw around as far as I am concerned, and believe that what they are actually throwing around is for them to lose and not to win something back, which is the mentality that can keep any gambler from being addicted or staying out of gambling entirely.

I will not play 1 hour also because i know i will not win my bets and very rarely i play casino games and i too use Dogecoin to play slot games because of less price and fast transactions.
yes, it is just for an example because I am not playing in more than 30 minutes or even in one hour because like you, I know that I cannot win in any of games and if I can win, it's only for a bonus and sometimes the bonus it's not much. using dogecoin is always better for me because I don't have to spend much coins amount and the dogecoin is really cheap so if I buy in 0.004 btc, I can get much amount of dogecoin and I think it's enough to play.

There are still people like us who never sees gambling as an entertaining way to kill some time or a way to earn money, because it is the exact opposite of that. It’s very hard to stop gambling especially when most of your peers are gamblers and what I have realized is that those without jobs are the ones who are mostly gambling because they want money to do other things but once they get jobs they somehow stop gambling.

Well we always stick to what we enjoy even if it's not productive until it burns us. Good for you that you manage to turn around after getting shocked. Some addicted gamblers are so deep in their addiction that they can't do it by themselves.

Thats a kind of situation is with me cant stay away from gambling a single day.As long as i have money in my account i continue to gamble and i cant stop myself.I keep gambling until i loose my money then i stop...that is a strong addiction and i am trying hard to stop that.I can stop completely without gambling and can control myself.

You have noticed your addiction already and you are now trying to stop. It is indeed hard to do but at least you should try stay away for a while without it. You say you cant stay away even a single day, then you should try to gamble once a week or once per few days only. Dont you have any other daily activities that requires you to spend many hours a day like working in an office or something else?
