I gamble everyday, play poker or slots, or some other casino game. I know how much I can spend on gambling and I gamble according to that, if I have more I will play slots or poker cash games with higher blind's, if I don't have much I will be satisfied with small stakes table. Until now I didn't have big reasons to stop gambling, couple days now and then when I can't find free time. I hope that I will not have to think about completely stopping with my gambling activities.
I hope if you continue you wouldn't get that addicted because it would be really hard to control yourself especially when you are already in the casino. For everything and games you have in front of you it would be harder because you can get them to do with it and in the long run you could lose a lot of money.

I think I can pretty much last longer than expected. I already experienced being so addicted to the point that it wasn't healthy anymore and I don't wanna be back to that place which is why as hard as it may seem, I tried to control myself slowly until I can totally let go off it. Thinking it through, I guess I made the right decision. It's all about priority and having self control at the end of the day. Right now, I only gamble only if I feel like I deserve it, not as often as I did before and I still feel great!
Staying without gambling is a big challenges to us, because it is a part of human being. Gambling is regarding dealing with the others, for example you are dealing for a business it is also gambling even without doing anything. All things have a risks is a part of gambling but it's up to us if we do literally gambling or not.
Yes and specially those people who have become addcited to gamblng. In fact addicted people cannot stay away for a single day from gambling, they want to play gambling daily. To me i personally addicted to gambling and i really find it to hard to stop gambling for a single day, i always manage to make myself free for playing gambling daily and never compromise to quit it for a single day.

I have been thought how bad it is to make gambling as a habit and I also don't want myself to get into serious trouble because of a game. There are many things we can do in exchange for gambling that are much more important and if you know for yourself that playing gambling does not do any good to you anymore, then it will be better to walk away from it.

Gambling is only just a form of relaxation and entertainment purpose for me, so I guess I could stay for a very long period of time without gambling, but I have seen quite a couple of gamblers who got seriously addicted to gambling and they even lost all their life savings while trying to recover back their previous losses.

You could say that because you are not addicted to gambling, what he said was that those people who are addicted on gambling can't even stay away from it even for just a single day, I guess you misunderstood it. You are a lucky person though because you could control yourself when playing gambling, playing gambling for fun is not that addicted since you are not after the money.
Addiction plays a huge role for people that can't stop playing or cannot resist the urge of gambling. If that is the case then it is likely that he has a bad case of addiction and he must really be in bad shape if he can't stop, those kinds of people need help already.
I would say that you should not equate people that play for fun and those that are stupid enough to believe that they can earn money from just gambling. Though they are different they still do aim for the same thing, they want to get some money, but the chances of one getting addicted may be different though not very far.
I never felt gambling is my daily job, so I can control my feeling by not playing the gambling. For me, gambling is not at all addictive because I used to gamble only when I have some spare time.

Sometimes it's hard to stop even if you aren't addicted, for example when you're gambling with friends or so. If it's fun then it is hard for me to stop, at the same moment i know that i'm not addicted as i never risk more money than i could afford to lose.
I don't agree with 'Anyone can stop if they really want' Tho. Look at the addicted people, sometimes they want to stop but they just can't.

As long as I live I can control my self in gambling or playing on it because at first I am not that interested in gambling yes I played before but I am not that addicted or become addicted but I played normally without even feeling any addiction. I thank God because he is not allowing me to become addicted of gambling since my family is not gambler pr anything about those casinos. I can stop completely without gambling and can control myself.

I also the same, I can stop when it was because I don’t gambled .And I think anyone could stop gambled if they really want, because however gambled not was good because it can be destructive to slowly to gamblers is, and if it could not until the child we know gambling because it could damage the future of our children

To spend a big periode without gambling is not problem for me. I really do not feel addiction to gambling. For me, it is only a game of luck, it is a funny thing that allows you to feel some thriller and nothing more. So i do not care if i stay without gambling to the end of my life.
