Its hard to say but i think altcoin with market cap value more than $10million is worth to invest for long term. Some people said its better to invest in top 100 coinmarketcap but i think coin with market cap more than $10million good altcoin and having a good community

This is a very unpredictable time. Today Altcoin may cost 20 cents and next year 100$. The market is young and unstable and there are many promising projects in this market. I would do the analysis and buy a lot of altcoins at minimum prices.

only a small fraction of the existing altcoin can survive and even produce for the long term. less than 100 of the total of all the altcoin which could produce. so maybe this time ranging from selective to choose the coin will determine the outcome for the long term.

I think there are only a few coins that really have good value, that happens on the market and also in my wallet, I have more than 10 altcoins that I have received from prizes and also airdrop, but for now most of the coins I the price is very cheap but it is not a big problem because there are some coins that I believe have good potential in the future so I still hold back and hope for the coin

Many good altcoin and having a good product. I am prefer choosing altcoin in top 200 rank in coinmarketcap. Too many token and coin in market make us confuise but it give us more choice when we decide to invest in altcoin but most that altcoin just pump and dump coin.

There is definitely value in majority of listed cryptocurrency, asking and questioning the value of cryptocurrency is a negative approach in accessing the value of cryptocurrency. There is big uses cases for majority of cryptocurrency listed in coinmarketcap, there is no need watering down these valuable asset because of out own insecurities!

It's also the reason why it's not easy to earn money in crypto world cause everyone can easily fall into a terrible altcoin and lose their money if they don't have any experience but still wanna earn money in this world

And thinking of investing with 50 altcoins, seriously it's totally a lot.

Your portfolio has used diversification that much. It is good to diversify but you need to look for the good coins to expand your money not with just called you are doing the deed. You need to be more oriented of the coins that can potentially give you returns, not just to make you look like a real crypto enthusiasts.

I think that no more than 20 altcoins will be worth something in the future. There are really a lot of projects in recent years and each of them is trying to solve some problems or to transfer some interesting idea on the blockchain. But most of them will not be able to realize their intentions and really worthy projects will be very few.

Throughout 2018 it was a bad year for the development of all crypto, but this did not at all make them disappear from the market (dead) everything was there, and it went on as usual. I think maybe only 0.1% of Alt-Coin's population is on the market. Because until now they can still survive and it seems they still deserve to be relied on even though the competition between them still continues to this day.

It does not matter how many cryptocurrencies exist. The quality of these coins is important. I don’t mind a lot of coins, especially if they have fans. However, for me it would actually be enough just a few hundred.

Mostly guys wrote about 5-10 altcoins. But I don't agree with them. There are also projects not from the top of coinmarketcap which have ready products and tradable tokens. I think 20-50 altcoins.

Not all valuable coins are in the cmc top 100, and not all top 100 coins in cmc are valuable, or will be for long. some will longer be there soon, just because coin is on cmc top 100 list doesn't mean it's worth putting money on.

CMC requires minimum 100k$ total turnover for listing cryptocurrencies. Low cap coins always have low circulation before getting shilled by twitter heros in order to pump them.

I do not know how many are worth something to be honest.
It is true that many are still down since we are still in a bear market so I think it is unfair to judge a coins worth base solely on price.

Quality over quantity. You need to get the best coins instead of having hundreds of thousands or millions of cheap coins that aren't worth investing your money.

This is a misconception to the new investors there, you guys think that a cheap coin will make you rich so you are choosing those cheap coins that will pump somehow in the future. IMO, it's wrong to think that way.

Every crypto worth exactly as much as people are willing to pay for it...
So every crypto that has a volume on exchange worth something...

I think most of the Top 300 projects that are worth something, maybe even the top 600. They have less capitalization, but there are a lot of really undervalued projects.
