As I do mining in large scale since early 2014 it's logically that who is inside this business has a large amount. But if I look very close to invests and roi, I made good money. But look, I put lot of hope and lot of money linked with a oppotunity in university that made my gear (solar panels) very useful to using in mining. Many people have much more than that and we're exposing our experiences.

Just recently got into BTC; I have 2.5 saved up.
Plan on taking 25% of each of my paychecks and accumulating and seeing what will happen in 2017 or later in the year.

Thoughts? Ideas? Speculation? Advice? Tips?

 Huh
many people say that growing bitcoin was better than just waiting for the price to go up. could you consider it
investments seems also worth for you to consider certainly viewed in terms of safety, proven, and the safe of the site. thats worth to try.
I have little in the wallet because my bitcoin is on gambling site LOL
I have saved allot of bitcoins and not just by holding them off course am i holding some bitcoins but not all to gether becuase the price wont change anything if we all hold people!

Feeling the stress would mean you really take seriously trading, I am still starting to trade and I am not in profit yet, I started with a little amount to experiment if I have the skills to make money in trading but seems it is not that easy so I need to adjust my method from time to time until I hit it right.

That's what trading wants from you, some time and a little concentration and if you do that you will be able to get all the things about it if what is going on in the markets and which coins are best for buying and when to sell them back.

I have saved some Bitcoin for my self but I do not like to talk about how much Bitcoin I have that is just not smart.
But when the next rise is going to come by I am going to sell some Bitcoin.

I am in the same situation. I think it is better to hold the bitcoin for the long term. So it is better to forget about it.
Holding is always good because you will not be stress in managing your self in trading, you will just sit and relax when you are holding and just trust on the future of bitcoin.

Yeah but there is still a stressful part there. My experience is when it fluctuates a lot up and down and you dont know if you should sell it or not yet. That is way too stressful although I enjoyed it also.

Yeah you cannot expect to become expert overnight, you need to spend lot of time in learning it and if you are new to it then its better to start with a small capital.

Holding is good way to make profits in future but we cannot treat as the safest way as price may fall in future and only holding will never increase the number of coins in future so its better to use them in trading and try to level up for the future.

Now back to zero after saving up to 0.2btc but lost everything by falling to a scam in the process of converting to FIAT, now I have to start all over again...

i think better to save some amount at fiat, don't invest all of your bitcoin, each week i have plan to withdraw arround $100, for fun and saving at fiat, because we don;t know more detail about future of our investment.
Lol of course we do not know what will happen to the future of our investment or the bitcoin? because it is a risk of each investment? so I think it's up to you to save what percentage of your money in bitcoin or vice versa? but I agreed to dont save many bitcoin or all of your money in bitcoin

What we are holding is just our speculation and prediction on the future of bitcoin, honestly this is complete risk for all of the investors but as an investors we are optimistic that the future of bitcoin will bring us good profit or even fortune if we are too lucky.

If we will not take risk of investing in bitcoins then we will invest our money somewhere else which can be also risky, and we cannot avoid the risk factor in any investment, so its better to take risk with bitcoins.

Ah man don't give up that was the case aswell when I first started out.
For my savings it depends on my paycheck every month because I don't have a fixed paycheck. I take 10% of the leftover money after bills etc to invest.
Always 10% but always a different amount, IMO this is quite a safe amount. Just invest what you are okay with losing right.
yeah with bitcoin it is important to just never give up because you will make mistakes until you will become big with bitcoins

If we actively work on it then in future we can have descent amount of coins in our wallet, but OP is interested in knowing how much we have saved till date.

We can't have such accurate numbers of bitcoin being saved as time to time in most of the cases, people increases or decreases the quantity of their bitcoin. It will just lead for lots of post e.g. "I have 1 bitcoin today" then will post tomorrow "I have 0.5btc today".

More importantly, as long as we have some saved bitcoin, for sure we can take advantage of any price increase rally that will happen.

Yeah if you can manage to save good amount of coins then you can take benefits in future by selling them  when price goes higher and buy again when price drops.

i dont have a lot of bitcoins to be honest but i also dont need it
Why you don't have bitcoins ? and if you have bitcoin there then donate the others to me if you don't need bitcoin because Letirary i need bitcoin badly because i am a students where i need money to support my self for my daily expenses in school and ride everyday i depend my earning in signature campaign
Lol btw I'm also a student but that does not make me give up to get bitcoin. if you diligently to look at various forums and sections or groups of bitcoin. I'm sure you'll find plenty of methods to get bitcoin. and you can earn money from it by getting bitcoin

We need to take all the possibilities to earn money if we are just a student, at least that would be our learning experience in the future if we intend to go full time with bitcoin. How many bitcoin do we need to saved? The answer depends on how much you need to live a comfortable life.

I like the fact that you are making it possible to be in school and make your mself at school.  Earning bitcoins is surely a thing that make the programmer so proud of.  The answer to the question on how much bitcoin have you save falls on when you graduated from college and have a decent jobs.  That would really be a great investment coming from bitcoin.
