Now I have a few bitcoins saved, I'm not wasting it until the next few years, I think. At least I don't have plans for it, but maybe I will use part of this to invest in something else.
using bitcoin as an investment its a good idea, especially if you have idle bitcoin and dont know what to do, I myself also have saved 0.5BTC and i plan to invest it in casino, even though its not much, but its better than see my bitcoin idle, when the price is right i am going to sell my coin and buy myself some good things

Now back to zero after saving up to 0.2btc but lost everything by falling to a scam in the process of converting to FIAT, now I have to start all over again...
Lol why did not convert in the famous exchange sites like bit-x, the BTC-e and so forth? do not make of exchange with someone who is not you know?

In that case I am very lucky that I never faced security issue while converting it to fiat, as I am doing it on localbitcoins since last 2 years but I never got scammed there.

Actually only people can get scammed for something if they are doing it for the first time because they don't have experience nor they have knowledge about that thing, but i guess the guy shouldn't have been so irresponsible about his coins and should have done some research before doing that.

I didn't convert back to fiat yet - but I plan to use cex.io when I do. They seem to be pretty secure and not horrendously expensive. They do need to security check all users however - which isn't a problem for me...

I got into bitcoins around 2016 so around 9 months and I would bought/saved/earned around 2 bitcoins overall. with some effort and investment maybe I can reach 3 or 4 bitcoins total by the start of 2017.

2 btc is a good amount to hold and I think you should put some money in altcoin trading so if your moves goes right then you can expect 3 to 4 or even more btc in future.

i trying to save bitcoin in huge amount for the future because bitcoin will be going to double its price too much faster in the near future and i am sure that all bitcoin users will be get a good profit in future.
Its not easy to save bitcoin because we need to work hard for that bitcoin before we get it , for me i am working for a signature campaign where i can get bitcoin for free holding them until the bitcoin price will increase i want to invest it soon so that i can let my bitcoin work for me too and its for my future also Smiley

I have save about 1 btc , I'm usually spend my 10 - 15 % of my main salary to invest bitcoin
Sometimes I do trading and gambling so it's hard to maintain my bitcoin balance at the moment

Wow I admire you that you have save about 1 bitcoin at all. I have only saved 0.1 bitcoins but it is not growing as I am using it for some important
things just like what I am using it for my personal needs. And if there is an emergency I am keep on selling it to fiat so that I can use the cash for surviving a day.

I put 5k into bitcoins which is basically my life savings that I can afford to put into bitcoins. I've got a few more years of college so can't touch that money. The reasons behind this decision may be more from an ideological perspective rather than a sound investment yet I see great potential in investing in Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is expected to go higher in future so if we believe the same then I think this is the right time to invest in bitcoin as it will not be easy to invest in future when price is on top.

I have stacks of BTC saved up but I also live off of it. The key is to keep making BTC and Earning BTC so when the gains come your on board the train.

If all you do is save BTC, you have missed the point entirely. But I still hope it goes to the moon and you cash in Smiley

I have 5 btc in cold storage which I will sell only when I see higher price in future and I have 3 more btc that I am using for trading purpose and keep on earning small profits regularly which takes care of my basic expenses.
thats not a lot of bitcoins but i think that it is a right thing to do to never sell it right now, with bitcoins you might become rich in the future if the price grows enough

I think saving 5 btc for future is a good amount and with 3 btc in trading he always have an chance to make it more if he is good in trading, so if you can manage to have 40 to 50 btc in future then its a great amount to hold.

your idea is great,  but it's sad to me that I didn't save bitcoim like you. I am new here and just start earning bitcoin by signature campaign and trading. it's tooo difficult to earn 5btc by bitcoin.

Nothing can be achieved overnight, you need to work hard to get it, no matter if you are new you can always work on it and one day you will be holding that amount in your wallet.
