How many bitcoins is $30? What's the fastest way to get them besides of doing some kind of work, etc?

For me $30 is 0,001BTC
Other people think it is cheaper, but I disagree.

Stop looking at the exchange price and determine the price for yourself.
Looking at the exchange rate all the time will make you buy high and sell low.
You really think bitcoin will reach 30k? That's a little bit optimistic isn't it? Max 3k could be the real value i think and it's a lil optimistic also.

Value is always relative. So it wouldn't be wise to fix a price for bitcoin on your own, especially if you are looking to spend them. But personally, i like that you think bitcoin in itself has a somewhat isolated value Smiley

If you don't want to go through long wait just to get your fund to bank and then transfer to exchangers, you can actually opt for localbitcoin. Depends on where you are from, there are quite a lot of sellers who offer quite competitive price. Right now, for 100 bucks, you can at least get somewhere almost close to half a unit of bitcoin.

Was gonna suggest the same thing. localbitcoin is probably your best bet, use the site's escrow and a trusted user and everything should go without a hitch.

The most effective and fast method is to buy them.
The least one is join some sig camp here
Third one go for some free giveaway of faucets. May you will be able to make that 30$.
If you are a developer or designer go in service section and get some job.

Okay, faucets are too slow. Is there a place where I can buy the bitcoins, have them go to my and use my credit card?
"In the US, Coinbase, Circle, Trucoin and coin.mx all now offer purchases with cards. Bittylicious and CoinCorner also offer this service in the UK, accepting 3D Secure-enabled cards on the Visa and MasterCard networks. For small amounts of bitcoin, you can use a card to buy $20-worth at Tinkercoin."

Here's one of them: https://www.coinbase.com/
Could be a hassle getting all the identification and account sorted up and authenticated though. if you do try any of them, try to read a few of the important terms before purchasing.

Offering goods in exchange for bitcoins. Fastest without "work" would be buying them with fiat I guess. 30$ now would be ~0.128. You can check preev.com for that.

You can check https://bit-x.com/ and they have a lot of Withraw & deposit methods that other exchange websites dosen't have .
Here is their official announcement thread : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bit-xcom-exchange-btc-ltc-usd-eur-gbp-rub-bitcoin-debit-card-874312 , if you have any questions , you should ask there and I'am pretty sure you will get an answer Smiley

Fastest way is to work, get salary, buy from exchanges. Mining is too slow unless you have tremendous capital. Faucets actually pay much lesser than you may think.

If you don't want to work for it, either exchange some goods for it or currency equivalent to $30. There's no magic way of getting money.

Sell your signature line on every post you make in this form as advertising for a bitcoin company. As you post they pay you and it goes directly into whatever wallet you use. When you're a Newbie it doesn't pay much (but it's something) and once you've been on the forum, posting, for a bit the pay will go up. See the link below for a summary of ad campaigns.

http://preev.com/ , check this website for the BTC price .
You can easily buy some BTC from users here on "Currency Exchange" with whatever payment method you want to use or buy from exchange websites like bitsmap , bit-x , etc ... Grin
If you don't want spend any money then Signature compaigns are the best for you , they do pay some money but since you are Newbie Rank you won't really find anything

To check bitcoin price use preev.com. This way you can easily check by putting in amounts and it auto calculates it.
As for buying them try localbitcoins or something?

How many bitcoins is $30? What's the fastest way to get them besides of doing some kind of work, etc?

$30 is a little less than 1/8 of a bitcoin.  For that small of an amount you could use PayPal and go to virwox.com to purchase second life linders and then convert the linders to btc.  But you'll lose a few bucks to fees/arbitrage variance.  So for $30 you might get between $25-$28 in btc.

Is there any other way to get it so I can get the whole $30 and have it go into my wallet?
