You are correct, the volatility of bitcoin will dictate how much value of your bitcoin in your possession. It is hard to determine if after five years you still have the same amount or value of bitcoin that you have today. So for me I am no longer targeting to hold all of my bitcoins in my wallet since if the price goes down I will suffer the depreciation in value. So to be safe I am converting to cash 3/4 of my earned bitcoins and save 1/4 of it for future use.

If you, along with everyone else here, gets lucky, it is quite possible that 10 BTC can make you a fiat millionaire. A lot of people would not have an issue with Bitcoin getting placed at somewhere close to $100k, and I know I wouldn't have any issue with it.

Given enough time, chances are Bitcoin will be able to hit that point. That is assuming there are no outside influencing factors that break it before then.

It's acceptable but would it be realistic enough for someone to achieve that big amount, I guess with that big amount of bitcoins to be achieve we have to work hard. Agree ! Working on it and risking some of your money to earn profits. Working is not enough but if you invest then it could happen. Well if you invest in bitcoin way back 2010 then i could say that you are millioner right know because of its price. Lot of people are lucky now because of bitcoin

Waiting five years is way longer than what I envisaged even as at now, with 5btc, I am already a millionaire and even a double one at that. Probably because of my the value of my currency and the low cost of living ovcer here but with that amount converted, I am already a comfortable person with no bother of basic needs of life.

It is honestly very large amount compare here in my country 10-25 btc is enough and i think 5 years we will see more advantage on the price more price increase that we will see in the future. here in my country even 50 btc is enough and you can sell it right now to be millionaire unlike in other places like in US places or in canada.. they are need a large amount of bitcoin before they will be millionaire in that countries.

I think it doesn't depend on a country you live in. When we say "millionaire" we mean in US Dollars and not in any other currency, because that would be nonsense. Since we are here from around the world when we talk about money we talk about US Dollars for convenience.

I'm thinking that if the price is close to $1,000 or $2,000 then 500 bitcoins would be enough to declare ourselves as fiat millionaire.

That is already good amount here in my country and I can survive with that amount for the rest of my life.

I can also able to have a lot of investments and businesses with that amount that will able to grow that amount.

I think the price of bitcoin will reach $1000 in the middle of next year. There is no need to wait for 5 years.

I think it depends on which fiat currency we are talking about. How bout if we are talking about the Vietnamese Dong? If it was the Dong, then you only need around 0.01 Bitcoin to be a millionaire in Dong currency. But if we would talk about the USD, then that's another matter. You will probably need 1,000 Bitcoin to be a millionaire after five years. This means the price should be $1,000 per coin after five years. Hopefully, at that date, the price is at $1,000 or more.
