I spent most of my free time on online gambling site, but only a small part of that time I used to gamble. Most of the time I use to chat with other users, especially users from my country. And to be honest, I have fun talking to them even though I don't know them personally.
Like you are using this gambling platform for connectivity purpose. This is strange because pope never talk much at such platforms. They have got some objectives and tasks assigned they always try to fulfil them within time limit. So often they ignore such talkative user that tries to connect to them without any personal or business meeting. But if you do this, amazing.

Its surprising to see the poll at the same %, 42.1% for both 1h and 2-5h, I would have thought that not many people would fall into the 2-5h slot but I guess you can't underestimate addiction. Or maybe boredom?
Probably it's all boredom, and you know what else? The number of voters that are there only a few and we need more information on that. If you think the statistics, it's not a reliable source of data and you still can't assume how much time the average person gambles.

Not a big deal since it was only from few people.
For me, gambling is some sort of entertainment and should only be done during our vacant time. Don't get too addicted to it because it will affect your daily routine and even worse, lose a lot of money.
We can tell this for how many times but we can't stop them from gambling into another level.

I was just thinking how much time people spend on gambling sites on a daily basis? I bounce back and forth between work

and household activities, but in my spare time, I like to chill with a beer in hand and doing some casual gambling. I do this

while watching TV, so it is part of my entertainment time.  Wink  Do you think, time spend on gambling is linked to gambling

addiction? Let's discuss this.  Wink

Edit : If you spend less than 1 hour on gambling, please chose option 1.  Wink

Ok, so most people only spend about an hour a day on gambling sites. I would have thought that the average would be a bit

higher than that, but I guess people's day is filled with more important things, like work.  Roll Eyes  This leads me to my second

question. Do you think you will spend more time on gambling sites, if the minimum bet was say, less than 10 cents per bet?

I like to go to Brick n Mortar casinos and just play on the 10 cents slots to watch people and their reaction when they win or

loose.  Wink
I am not calling anyone a liar but I do not think that a person is even capable of tracking the time while gambling or playing any sort of game. Actually, it is so attractive in nature that one forgets about everything else and spends hours without even realizing but anyway, I do not support this game no matter how low the minimum bet goes because the long term affects are horrible.

What long-term affects? ....remember not everyone will become gambling addicts if they spend too much time on gambling. If

we spend too much time on anything, like washing dishes or running, you will not turn into a addict... some people had

problems before they started gambling and then this turns into an addiction. My mother used to say, too much of anything is

not good for you.  Wink   {The problem is, what is too much?}

I know of someone who gambles for about four to five hours, he said then that was a perfect hours to make quite a good cash in gambling; he ended up being addicted. For me,  I don't think there should be a stipulated hours to use for gambling cause every little hour can result to addiction. Instead when you play and win, no need of going further or being gambling; take your winning and stop to play next time.
It is obvious that the more you do something the greater the chances to become addicted, however if you play to win and you are playing a game of skill and you are in favorable circumstances then it is a mistake to leave as soon as you are obtaining some profits, to give you an example in the game of poker your profits or losses depend entirely by the composition of the table.

If the table is full of players at your level then it is unlikely you will obtain any profits, if the table has players that have a greater level of skill then you are going to lose money, but if you find yourself in a table full of new and inexperienced players then you will earn money in that table and you should not leave until you are too tired to play or the composition of the table changes.

I'm not into it as I used to be. I used to spend perhaps 30 minutes a day. Now I might spend 30 minutes a week if that Smiley

Less than 1 hour now, unlike in the past I spent 4-8 hrs a day to gamble because it was my hobby before but I am glad I was able to prevent it because I am out of money or coins to gamble because I was able to withdraw 95 percent of my crypto.

Good for you as mostly if you do not win or end up losing in those bets means you lose money and time both. And better to be away from it as it helps you to save both time and money and can be utilized somewhere else for being more productive. And only for fun sometimes you can gamble to enjoy.

I really wonder from such people that how a person can enjoys his life and have fun in gambling when he already knows that he is making big loss with every next move. People never ever had made money from this gambling. Everyone rather lost and if we arrange competition over this number, there would be ultra legends coming in the list so soon. Make good life decision brother.

Some lucky people have made it big with gambling and completely changed their lives so it's not true saying gambling can't bring anything positive. Spending money on one's hobby while having fun is not a sin, but the key is to be responsible and have self-control. Gambling can also be a lucrative hobby that funds other hobbies one might have thanks to the earnings. I don't think it's a complete waste of time, just don't assume gambling is your 2nd job and you will be fine.

I don’t gamble every day but when I do, I only play around two hours I guess. It’s not how much I play but how much I could try to win especially if I have a limit to myself to prevent addiction and further  losses. It’s fun to gamble especially if you’re winning but if you lose it’s just sad but you have to accept it.  Cool

I usually spend an hour during weekdays and about 3-4 hours at weekends but on holidays I spend 3-4 hours and still have a lot of time left. So, I’d say 2 hours on average. In my case, time spent is not linked to gambling addiction, rather to “work” addiction, as I make money (just playing poker). If I’m getting good hands, thus making money, and there are enough bad players at the tables, I tend to play more.

I think my average hours for playing gambling is less than 1 hour because I don't use much amount of coin to play and in the 10 minutes first, I see what is going on in the site. and then I try to take a look at the game and if my feeling is good, then I will start to play with a small amount first. I am very afraid to become greedy if I can win on the game and I think it is better to leave the game after I can win in 2 or 3 times so I don't have to spend more amount of coins.

Good question. Never thought of counting the hours in front of my laptop gambling.. hehehe. I would probably say 1-3 hours per day but probably 3-4 times a week. Specially when I was about to go to sleep and I will go visit my favourite site to play dice and the next thing I know, I have spend quite a time, specially when you are very lucky and seeing green's. Back in the days it takes maximum of 3 hours when I gamble. I usually bet small so it takes more time to get my ideal profit. Same thing can't be said these days.  Cheesy
When I gamble now it doesn't take me an hour and then I eventually quit due to lack of interest. Maybe I'm just trying to find a new type of game to gamble in. I usually enjoy playing slots but the odds of winning is not really that great so I only set a small bankroll.

Do you think, time spend on gambling is linked to gambling

addiction? Let's discuss this.  Wink

I do not think that this is the case. I mean gambling for hours can not always mean that the person gambling is addicted. Maybe they just enjoy it and is trying have fun while passing their time and at the same time, earning a small amount of money.

As hours you spent on the gambling site you will get the mood to invest your hard earned money but you can be add the money for betting or any other gambling way which is not only relay on luck as a factor bro.
If you do gambling with the basis on luck only mean it will not work for long time.
You need to betting on any game that will work fine to see profit in high numbers than lose.

I hardly ever spend even one hour on the online gambling because I am very busy in my business life and also running the family. Lips sealed

But when I have free time I will involve in gambling for much time like upto 5 hours like once in a month or two not on daily basis.
Majority choice is 2-5 hours in gambling which is I also did when I have free time or especially on weekend. Were the same here mate I never play gambling if my time is not free or I have a lot of jobs to do from other businesses.

Playing less than 1 hour for me is not enough I didn't enjoy gambling if just a minutes only. To have a good catch in gambling I played 1-3 hours mostly on weekend. Yes, I considered gambling for me is just like having entertainment while you are relaxing.
