No one can say for sure, but the number is growing every day. This is vary from country to country. Developed countries are more aware of this so 50–60% people know about it. Now a lot of people may have heard of Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies, but there's a vast difference between having heard of something and knowing what it is.
I think it is a big percentage of people that they know bitcoin, if we talk about crypto. Maybe 10-20% people from around the world? It is big, because this become popular all the time and maybe in 15-20years it will be the most popular currency.
I think not enough people know about bitcoin. There are so many people heard about bitcoin but only so few of them really knows and have an idea about what bitcoin is. especially the ones over 40 years old. they are mostly approach bitcoin as a scam or cheating.
i'm just curious if how many percentage of all the people on earth know about Bitcoin. in my country i think only 10% knows about it. post your opinion guys.
I think a lot of people who already know Bitcoin but do not know and focus in Bitcoin, the percentage who knows Bitcoin I think reach 76% of the earth population because almost everyone has a smartphone but who knows and focuses on Bitcoin only 6% of the earth's population.

Bitcoin is still gaining fame. It is true that there are still a lot of people who do not know what is bitcoin and what is cryptocurrencies. I am sure that the bitcoin will become popular all over the world in the next 5 years.
I think that many people know about the existence of bitcoin, every second person, at least, about the crypto-currency simply heard it superficially, without going into the essence. But those who have bitcoins have much less of them, it's about more than ten million people all over the world.
A lot of people know about bitcoin in my country but i don't know about others. Need to check google for some statistics about it. Maybe somebody made it already.
In my country many people know, but gobernment and TV presents it like something evil, and most of people are having this attitude, that all the crypto will fall, and it is not perspective at all.
Just like my country. While crypto has been studied by some religious figures and communities for its halality, the government and the media still see bitcoin as something bad.And the funny thing about peaople is that they dont want to get deeper in understanding, what actually crypto is, they prefer just to believe, what the guys from TV is telling.
In developed countries, a lot of people know about bitcoin. But in under-developed and poor countries, not many people know about bitcoin. The number is increasing sharply in some countries.
I think that at the moment more than 50% of people in the world have heard the word bitcoin. But about 5% of people use it, in my opinion.
I think it is about 10% of world population may know about bitcoin but still people don't have clear idea about the bitcoin,our forum has 2 million users registered upto date but the world population is more than 7 billion so when compared to that even 10% is the maximum value.
In my country which is Philippines, bitcoin has already been seen and heard on radios and televisions or other public media. Bitcoin is now becoming more known and popular here and i believe many Filipino citizens are already encourage to join and use bitcoin because of its benefits and advantages not only on every individual but also to the whole economy of the country.

As far as I know bitcoin is banned in other countries. That's why almost ±70% of people around the world are not popular with bitcoin. Likewise here in our county bitcoin are not so popular I think 10% of people know this.
Most of people are still working hard with their jobs not knowing that there was a big opportunity waiting to discover. One of that is bitcoin there's a lot of opportunities in bitcoin and if you use you creative mind at the same time your skills you can absolutely get more profit
If we are going to seek the current percentage of the number of people who knows bitcoin as a form of cryptocurrency we could have a bigger number compare to those people who truly knows the system of bitcoin as a whole. Knowing bitcoin as a form of cryptocurrency is not enough for us to support its system and for it to developed. We, the users of bitcoin should learn the system of bitcoin in terms of transaction and as a form of currency that we could used in starting an investments and trading for us to earn and to be a part of the community who can help bitcoin to developed.
In our Country, I think it's amost 80 percent of the people know about Bitcoin. Thanks to our social media because bitcoin is well-advertised. Most of the Bitcoin users kn our country are students. Some of them are unemployed and businessmen.
I think just people from industrial countrys new about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. I dont think that people from any 3rd world country heard something about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. But thanks to the mainstream media last year a lot of people heard for the first time somethin about it. And in the future it will be always more. So many new projects who are launching a initial coin offering instead of a simple crows founding. So there will be more and more in the future!
I think it was billions or we cant count of on how many people knows about bitcoin because bitcoin was a whole world cryptocurrency and a number in the market and also have a good value also.
most people have heard of bitcoin considering that it is promoted to TV, advertisements but not all know what a bitcoin is
Bitcoin is very popular now because of the social media that advertising the bitcoin in positive and negative issues. I think about 40% people are know about bitcoin. But not all of them are getting involved in bitcoin. The 60% people who are not knowing about bitcoin are those people who are lack of knowledge and poor people without gadgets that seen the advertising about bitcoin. Hopefully we reach the full population of the people in the world with knowledge in bitcoin and all of us are getting involved with this kind of source of income.
Here in the Ph, I think 1 out of 10 people know about btc world. But, many of them aren't coping with this because they think they're just only wasting their time.

%10 is really big.. forget your close enviroment.. a lot of people do not meet telephone in the world yet..
