I recently purchased bitcoin, it was the most I have ever put into a cryptocurrency.
This is going to be a long term buy, This was taken out of stock money,
Now that I have done this I feel more excited about
where bitcoin is headed than  I do about stocks. Now I feel like I should take more out of
Stocks, Feel there’s going to be more return this way. Thoughts on this am I getting carried away

Definitely you are getting carried away but I think it is good.  Just make sure you have that patience and strong hand to hodl until your target price is achieved.  Many people who are too enthusiastic towards BTC ends up being disappointed when the BTC price crashed.  You should be well aware that Bitcoin price goes up and down insanely in fast pace.

Here are the other coins I can buy
Ethereum
Bitcoin cash
Litecoin
EOS
Ripple

If all of those are still alive, let alone relevant, in 5-10 years I'll take that as a damning indictment of crypto's stuntedness.

Play with alts by all means. Don't expect to do well, don't be sad if you lose what you put in and whatever you do don't get married to them.

I'd not suggest you to take money out from stock investments but to increase your investment on crypto through savings.
I try to balance a 1:1 ratio in investments between stocks and crypto. Though crypto possibly has a very large chances of profit, they could still be unpredictable.
Stocks too are a good investment and could even be safer than crypto as the companies involved are regulated and audited.

Yeah don't be carried away especially when you have no solid data behind this. Just feeling? Not good. What percentage of your portfolio is currently in crypto? You should adjust it based on your risk appetite.

Bitcoin 3%

Thanks Everyone this has been very helpful, I just wanted to think through it. the next small buy I might by ETHEREUM or litecoin slowly start buying more.
I hope you realize that this is an even bigger risk than Bitcoin. Why would you want to go with ETH or LTC? Why do you want more crypto in your portfolio?

Having different crypto was my main reason.

An investment in cryptocurrency you must better to buy a lot of coins now like for bitcoin because the price of the currency is slowly growing up and becomes profitable. After the bitcoin falls, there are a lot of investment came from the people because they know the possibility of the price rise again. It is better if you have a lot of extra money better to start the investment now because the price of the bitcoin is still in seven thousand dollars and it is suitable for buying today. And don't be tired of waiting for the coin because you are trying to invest in bitcoin it is for a long term trading it takes a long time before you get your earnings. Next, make sure you must be aware what is happening in the market because to monitor if you are gaining profit or not, else better to take out your money if you are not sure about your investment.

You are in a correct way, stocks are very long term to earn a decent money unlike in crypto currencies that you can easily profit especially if the bull run is coming. Right now we are nearly at the bottom of the market so it is the right time to stock your bitcoin or any currencies that you like so the return of your investment will become huge once we hit the peak of the market.

You can just start slowly buy buying small amount of bitcoin but do it very often so you can stock a good amount of bitcoin before the bull run comes.

If you feel that way you can start to take more stocks, but, a little advice(I know you know it too), don't take all your eggs in one basket. The way you have your investment in stocks right now, the same as having an investment in cryptocurrency, is a wise decision of you. Think deeper about what situation you might put in if you take more out of stocks, please don't get carried away.

A good decision I think because you have bought bitcoin and for now the price has not shot up. Later after halving maybe there will be a change, we just hope that after that bitcoin will pump. You have to be patient for that, maybe it's still long or bitcoin will pump soon. It is only a matter of time. I hope that you have done your research before entering the world of crypto and investing in crypto.

I don't know how much you bought and how much you have in stocks. This makes the question extremely difficult to answer because to some people 1000 USD is a lot of money and to others it's just a daily spender. You could have a million in stocks and use 1% to buy BTC, in such case I'd tell you to get more.
Also, make sure you understand risk and are prepared volatility. This market is pretty unique.

it is an investment that I think is profitable, but you must remember, patience is the key to someone's success, you don't need to rush to sell it anymore, wait for the right moment and the price is high. !

I don't think it's within our decision to tell you the amount of principal capital that you need to start with when it  comes to investing into bitcoin. The rule of thumb in any investment plan is to invest with an amount of money that you can afford to lose. So basically i would say an amount between $500-$1000 is cool to start with.

You should be very careful, never have only one investment, even if bitcoin is an excellent investment we should have several investments. I am not saying that you should buy altcoins, I am saying that you must have real world investment and invest in bitcoin.

Another advice I can give you is buy by parts. Exe: Today the price has dropped to $ 7300, so you go for one part and expect the price to fall further to buy another part.

Don’t bother with altcoins, they’re mostly all utter shitcoins & follow the price trajectory of bitcoin any way.

What you need to do is be willing to invest regularly in bitcoin & be able to be patient, leaving your money in bitcoin for a couple of years at least. It’s an almost fool-proof method.

Put x amount of your monthly income into bitcoin & you’ll make great profits providing you’re patient.

Definitely a good idea to pull some money out of other investments to spread into bitcoin... especially if you had taken them out of other altcoins. It may be exciting now... especially seeing that the price has been on a slow, but steady decline, that maybe we'll see a slight explosion or atleast some sort of new peak in value. But its the same idea with any other investment, if you put moree money in, you have to be comfortable with losing that investment. If I were you, I wouldn't get too excited or impulsive about throwing more capital into your investment, but to each their own.

Nevertheless... its always good to put your eggs in different baskets, and in the case where bitcoin or any other investments you may have shoot up in price, you are a wealthy or wealthier man Smiley Yet if the opposite happens, you will still have capital in other places. Keep doing research and best of luck to ya!

There is no specific amount that is  "enough"... it is whatever you are comfortable with in terms of the rate of it's growth and how much you can potentially lose.

I do have a financial plan. I’m actually using the money from Stocks that I was taking risk with.
So this is why I was good with cryptocurrency. I know the risk of it.  I just wonder what would
Be enough in one coin.
Maybe I should spread it around and put it in other coins.

You are doing the right thing of buying bitcoin but you should analyze yourself if it's also a fine decision that you have taken it from your another investment. If it's with a dying altcoin I can say that you're doing a great job but while you're getting carried away and feels the excitement, you have to study and research more about bitcoin and be aware that this is more volatile than the traditional stocks that we used to know as one of the known investments in the world.
