That is not entirely correct. It is very hard to be good at it, but there are some professional poker players and also professional sports betting punters, so it is possible.

It is possible to win millions of dollars gambling, but it is not very likely.

If you actually want to make money betting you need to make bets that have positive expected value. This is very difficult to do because that means someone else needs to make a bet with a negative expected value. The best ways to do that (best doesn't mean easiest or automatic) are poker and betting on sports.

"How much can you earn gambling" Good question, but one that probably cannot be answered there are people who have won fortunes. WHat would be easier to answer would be. "How much could you lose"? That would be how much you have. STrategy? Don't play the house edge you will lose in the long run.
