To be honest,sky is the limit with gambling friend.If you empty one casino,you can always gamble on another one but practically it's not that easy to win that much and you need a solid luck for that.There are usually no particular strategies in gambling to win or to always win but if you gamble smart and know your risks then surely you can profit in short term but if you gamble with just in mind to be a millionaire then i am afraid,you will lose it all.There are however,some strategies which can help you to reduce the risks like betting at small odds but in the end it's all depends on luck.
Now i'm going a bit OT, but I would advice you so play just for relax and don't play for win! A lot of people comes in my shop for sell their gold jewels for having money to play slot machine

This is the best way to go. Don't try so hard and you might win something. Gambling is best to do for fun and not to have pressure on you that you HAVE to keep winning every time.

With such a budget you are surely making a big chance to win big time. But you chance of losing is even bigger.

You need great skill to win in sports or poker. If you have good luck, you might win in dice. But no everybody has good luck.

Some people have high budgets and gamble big and its like nothing to them. Some people have a different emotional set up and gambling means different things to them. I would assume the person you know only plays for fun with that kind of emotional control.

Thats decent but probably need an even higher sample to be sure of 20%+ ROI as that is quite high. I know i have played several hundred k of cash game hands and broke even - usually i am a winning player.
People should check out sites like sharkscope or pokertableratings and there you can see very large samples of winning poker players.

I have done reaserches and found that 1000 games is excellent to determine how you are doing and so far I'm doing good
