Wasn't earning 5 years ago.
Wage inflation has been very low over the past 5 years and has generally hovered around roughly 2% which is less then the CPI inflation rate. On a net effect most people in the US has a lower salary when adjusted for inflation.

From employed to businessman. my income went to 800% up to 1000% . But if I am going to pay a salary to myself, it would be 150% increase. Im in the field of graphic arts as an employee and now Im running an internet cafe.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait. Who still tolerates salaries? I don't think I'd ever trust a company not to screw me over on that.
