I think everyone has a reserve price in mind for different projects. If there is enough bitcoin, I might vote 1-2 bitcoins in a project beyond which I would think the risk is too high because the risk of the ICO is much higher than the bitcoin holds, although the revenue is also better than Bitcoin is high.

I don't have much money so I often spend max 1 ETH to invest in any ICO project if they are good enough and if I still don't really believe in any projects I often don't wanna invest in or just invest small amount of money like 0.5 ETH or less to try if I'm a lucky man or not Smiley). After few mistakes in the past for now I often check on icoscanner.io before investing in any project Cheesy

It all depends on the level of my confidence in the project. That is, if the developers or the team as a whole, could convince me that all the same the project will be able to master the tasks set, then most likely I will be able to invest about 1k $, but of course everything depends on your overall budget. It's not so big for me, so I think so

This often depends on the value or potential of this ICO project, and we want to see if their teams are of sufficient quality. The amount of investment will be determined for these reasons, the most important is whether we have enough bitcoin to invest.

Hey guys

Just wondering what others normally invest in each ICO they invest in and see what the rough average is

Thanks
For me i guess it will depend on the quaility and the possibility of the ico's success. If i see that it has a good plan and  consist of  trust6rthy team i would bet 50% of my belongings, but if it has the opposite the a small percent would fit and rather none at all, because it is risky.

I invest a small amount in ICO, because ICO is not good for long-term investment.

I usually spend about 50% my budget for investing in ICOs. If you are good at researching, you can find many good projects which can help you get much profit in short term such as BABB, PKT, SXDT...

Generally speaking, I will decide how much to invest according to the quality of the ICO project.
But generally not more than 1BTC, because I don't have enough money.hhhhh. Grin

The amount i generally invest in an ICO is the amount that i assume i am willing to loose as most ICOs out there are scams and you are most likely to loose your money when you invest in an ICO. I usually invest something close to 3000-5000$ in a single ICO.
You can eanr tremendous amount of returns when you invest in the right ICO but it is very difficult and challenging to find the right ICO. Only invest the surplus in the ICO, the money you are willing to gamble and loose.

I voted for the under 1 btc option since most altcoins are very affordable and I am planning to hold them long term. I buy altcoins for holding using my extra money which is 20% of my monthly earning from my regular salary instead of just saving it in the bank. I use it to buy altcoins because I think it would be more profitable and money wise to invest than just to save.

I think that more than 60% will be answer this question as "lower than 1 btc"
If there are 10k people are inversting in this forum I belive that investing amount is lower than 1 btc for 30% over all and 40% of people are investing around 1 - 10 btc and more than half of them are not ICO based investors so with explanation I made it is 50%. I put additionaly 10 percent as an answer also.
Poll question can be more remarkable if you ask investment percentage instead of amount.
So I would answer it as less than 5% also
I agree with you. It is fairly obvious that majority of the users would choose the less than 1 BTC option in this poll since not many are willing to take big risks on ICOS these days after the plethora of scam ICOS  popping up on a regular basis. Personally, I almost lost 1 BTC, but decided not to invest at the last moment which turned out to be a great decision since the ICO turned out to be a scam and its developers ran away with a truckload of cash.

This depends on the project itself. If I see a lot of potential I am willing to invest more, but for projects that only have a certain level of potential, and dont look that promising to me, I rather go in with a little money, just in case it takes off. So that I dont loose out if it does. In most cases I go in with around $250 - $500. But this strategy also failed in more cases then it did work out, most of these ICO's I invested in are now below ICO price and I would have had a lot more gains if I just stayed in BTC. But thats the risk.

I have the intention to invest 5- 10 Btc in cryptocurrencies ICOs because they are very profitable. The internet crypto space is growing every day with a market capitalization of over 500 billion dollars. Thus there is high demand and supply in the crypto market economy.

As far as i think actually, it is not that simple to invest in icos as most of them are scams today. Usually, i invest more than 1000$ if i met a good ico in its start. I think then we can gain a high profit. But we have to be more patient i mean we have to go for long term trades not only the amount you invest in them. If you would like to invest in such a good coin, there is a well known good ico. It is The DAN (Daneel) ico.

I will invest about 0.5BTC.
Because every ICO project will limit an investment quota, most of the time you will not be able to invest more, so I would like to invest 0.5 BTC is a reasonable solution.
