Personally , i don't believe bitcoin will live that long.

It is a bit surprising, because absolutely noone voted that bitcoin will "die"(go to 0$) until 2020. Not even You voted that.

I am more positive than that. i see that bitcoin has since 2012 grown more than 2.26 per annum but i use that factor to get a conservative bottom price if it crashed (but did not fail which would take it to near zero).
So i see bitcoin being at the very least $5,365 in 2020.

so buying now at around $300 should mean your investment grows 18 times in the period.

I think in the range of $1000-$2000 which some people might consider low but it is a fair estimate.

I think the rewards and distribution is a good thing to look at when speculating about the longer term.
Not sure what the price will be in 2020. But I know if you can hold onto your stash until the 2030's when rewards really fall and total distribution is over 20 million coins you should be in a good position Wink

Actually if he/us can wait for 2024-2028, it's nearly the same like 2030 and even 2036/2040.

Because at 2024-2028 nearly more than 91% of the coins are mined and it's a far good time to have a brilliant position, not only good one.

The price was $1200 dollars in 2013. Bitcoin ecosystem has since had 2/3 of a billion dollars of VC capital invested and is only now starting to open up as an investment asset in the form of ETN's and hopefully soon ETF's (COIN).

If I woke up tomorrow with a price of 2500 I would be pissed off. I don't understand people that are so impatient. The fact we get a SECOND opportunity to get sub 1000 BTC is simply a blessing. The second coming of Jesus H Satoshi himself bringing us the opportunity to stack up entire units of the holy grail for our future wealth and well being. Every BTC you make after the last ATH is simply invaluable.

Well 300$ and 2500$ of the bitcoin price is a very very huge difference.
There are many opportunity that will bring the bitcoin price to the next level/.

I think the maximum might be 50k $. But the future is full of surprises. One extreme brutal hyperinflation can destroy ones FIAT wealth in a very short timeframe.

Just imagine: What would happen if only 2 million people would buy "only" one bitcoin ? 2 million people is nothing in a global scale. If we would adapt to 10 million users, the price would be already very high ! The problem is, that compared to us in the west, most of the world is poor.

I think the first big scale bitcoin adoption will happen in one of the poorer countries, that are plagued with a high inflation of their government paper money.

Especially when one fiat currency fails after another because of their debt issues.

Price wouldn't rise to 50k I guess, even if 2 million people buy 1 bitcoin. What is preventing these normal thinking people from not selling after doubling their investment? Pretty good ROI..
