In my opinion, I guess that Ripple (XRP) will have a wonderful future although their price is very low which it is $ 1.13 but the most advantage thing in this currency is the value of market cap ( 43 Billion Dollars) . As well , this value is huge compared to other low price currencies ( like : IOTA, EOS, ICON ..) and maybe is the end of 2018 the price will be $ 100.
Furthermore, There are some expectations say that the price will be more than $ 1000 in 2022. So Ripple is a good currency to buy , invest and to hold a big amount especially in this global crash of many currencies.

It is really hard to tell. All this fluctuations and threts in crypto currency anything could happen in any moment. However, if all is well maybe it can go as high as 60 or may seem. the possibilities are likewise can drop its value and it will be overtook by other coins. Anything can happen this 2018.
For some reason, cryptopeople became interested in it. I for one included. But I'm still weighing the possibilities before I buy xrp.

I am not currently following or trading ripple at the moment but last year i was very much into it, i think in a year ripple can reach $5-$10, the slow growth will be due to billions of supply.
I think the price of Ripple will have reached around $5 minimum by the end of 2018. I know people are saying it is just a utility coin for banks but that doesn't stop people speculating and buying it which is what has happened so far. The banks will still be able to use it for it's intended purpose but will be sending less of them at a higher rate.

I think maybe you just dream if you thinked like that. Although Ripple was growth faster in 2017 and though as you said that chinese people really liked to invest in there, in my opinion is very impossible XRP can reach $20-50. Because in last 24 hours in coinmarket i looked XRP still 2$, according to me maybe XRP just can reach under 10$ at the end of 2018.

What I personally found is that the XRP could go way higher than $10 in 2018, and it may cross $20-$40 mark within a year. But sometimes due to the high volume of the coin I reconsider my thoughts about its rise. Ripple is already increasing way faster than many other coins and in future it might reach or cross of the peak of $100 and more. But, the market cap will still be hurdle in the path of that higher peak.
