The price is not going to be that high in a year and that is because it needs time to rise and it wont jump also because it was already stable for a long time.
So we have to wait now for better value and that can takes a long time but we must handle it.

I predict the price of bitcoin will be $700-$1000 in a year and halving is close now and it will make the price of bitcoin increase for sure.

I voted 800 because I'm trying to be realistic. Yes it might be over $1k but the chances of this are very slim, and then the burst of the bulb might follow which no one here wants to happen.

I think it will be around $1k in next year not more then that  Grin

I honestly do not see this happen because the bitcoin has a good future yes but 1k is just too much for it in my opinion.
I think the bitcoin would be around the 800 dollar after the halving next year in the beginning.

I like the prediction, if that will happen then it would be fine with you. Can you imagine how much I can earn with that price of $1,000. That's too much of a projection but I like it. Let's be honest we are waiting for that price to cash out right?

I was reading that bitcoin gonna increase twice already this summer and many of my friends who are in bitcoin mining say bitcoin will rise soon.

This is pure speculation, their are on hard based facts that the price will rise. Sometimes if seems to me that the people here let their desire speak instead of a clear mind, which is quite sad to be honest.

i cannot predict the correct prices because it's very difficult to do so but i thought bitcoin prices in 1 year still below $1000 and may be reach to $800
Yes i have also voted same that it will definately reach 800$ per coin by the end or anytime between this year. 1k$ has been all time high in past so crossing that price level will be really hard for bitcoin and even upcoming halving doesn't have that much hype to make it cross that level.

Yeah $800 seems to be achievable in the next year, but thinking of $1k would be the waste of time as that value is not possible to achieve.

i really do not have much confidence in the the bitcoin price as its trading below 500 dollars currently but a year from now probably 600 dollars-800 dollars wouldnt be bad...hope the halving stimulates a price increment

Agreed its difficult to expect the price of $1k in one year, but if we see some good price at the time of halving then I think anything is possible.

A year from now, my amateur conservative guess would be that 1 btc will be around $800 or so. This is because of the decreased rate of new bitcoins entering the system as a result of this year's halving.

Exactly, we can expect that price by next year, no doubt halving will take value to a higher level, but we also need to believe in reality and cannot afford to expect too high price.
But if we look at the reality and believe on it, then we will accept that bitcoin price will increase to a much high value and will continue to increase if we remained to support bitcoin and adopted it for our normal use.

Yes we need to be positive and optimistic with the price of bitcoin and it will surely rise in future giving us the best returns on our investments.
That's  true, if we believe in it, we need to project a high value of bitcoins in the future. Regardless of the effect as long as we profit from our investment is gonna be fine with we. One thing is certain that the price will probably rise.

you don't even have to believe in bitcoin to make great profits. a lot traders don't care much about the technical aspects and the future of bitcoin as they just do their trading to make profit, and that's it.

One year from now, the price could be higher than $1000. We have the halving and block size increase soon.
Both happenings are not enough to get the price even close to $1000 in a year from now.

We need legit demand and large investors in order to push the price somewhere close to $1000.

Once the block halving is over and the block increase has been done, there will not be anything to push the price up beside legit demand coming from new and existing users.

I think it will be around 600$ for 1BTC, price can't amplify so fast from 400 to 1000$ i don't belive on it. So my bet is 600$ after halving. In one year maybe it will reach 800+$
