Oh, the lockdown is beneficial for some of you?
Then let's compare it with something else, like prison time.

Lockdown:
You're sitting in your home with 2 hours to go out and do groceries.
You're working from home if you can or you're already unemployed.
When the lockdown is finished you're out, possible with no job and no way to provide for yourself.
You see your friends only online.
You're not allowed to go to a restaurant or club as they are all closed.
You see your relatives once a week.

Prison:
Sitting again locked, but you have two hours outside without bothering for groceries as somebody else gets them for you.
You don't have to work, and you can dedicate all your time to reading or studying.
You don't give a damn about the lockdown cause even after the pandemic is over you're going to have shelter and food (and basic cable).
You see your new friends everyday face to face.
You can still go to the cafeteria and you can still enjoy some toilet wine.
You can still see your relatives once a week and you're even shielded from the ones that you don't want to see.

So, what's better???

I'm amazed at how many people say, I have more time!!!
What were you doing with your time before, did you waste it all, you needed a pandemic that killed thousands to help you organize your schedule?

Lock-down has helped many of us to improve our skills and knowledge in our free time. It has helped me in bringing out my skills. After a long time, I started doing the drawing. Also, I am getting time to learn something useful. Along with that, I am working from home.

But still feeling bored at home, staying at home for a very long time makes me feel lazy. No problem, we had to stay at home and fight against the pandemic. Hope everything comes to normal soon.

It is a time to prove yourself if some time you had mentioned that they do not get time to learn new skills or they are too busy to get into something new. Strictly speaking no one is that busy in their life it is just the priorities that you learn something or not. Anyways, now due to lockdown there is abundance of time. Lets see how many accounts will use this time to upgrade their account and how many pro in trading.

Seems like the lockdown is generally for giving us more time to spend with our family.  Cheesy

Positive:
- Spending more time with my family.
- Lessen a bit my gambling life.
- More time to learn some other things.

Negative:
- No gambling NBA games.
- Eating too much.

Without  missing words, this period has been the very best time for my to have time for almost everything that I dreamed of earlier when I joined this forum. This time, many of my friends have been preached to and still preaching the gospel of Bitcoin as the mainstream of the Blockchain technology. Though, this is what I haven't done before but with the quarantine from the government, I took a bold step and break the fear in me, can't wait to bring onboard capable investors into the cryptosphare.

Although, during this period I lost some funds to gambling and have since get over it. We'll know that; many things are bind to happen either good and bad because "an idle mind is the devil's workshop ". Remember this: "stay at home, state safe and play safe"; life is one and no duplicate.

Right now this is the beginning. Lock down will continue until the threat is over and solved. I don't see withdrawal or any sign to improvement this situation. Even animals are infected by virus. Everyone is sitting at home. But internet has no barrier. So, you can continue learn cryptocurrency, investment, exchange, trade etc. I wish BTC price will be higher when the market begins again.

I have given all my dedication to this forum since I've joined it no matter if this pandemic would've occurred or not. About the benefit from lock down, it is true that if we keep all our emotional aspects aside, this lock down gave us all a load of opportunities where our financial status would (and can currently) change a lot if we have the guts to play the markets very carefully. It has benefitted the mother nature by gifting it almost pollution-free air these days (check pollution rates at your place currently, I'm sure you'll see a drastic change) and one utmost benefit is that, we have all got some quality time to be spent with our family.

Sadly, i still have to go to work. I put a lot of efforts in my job during this period.
In real life i am a merchant, selling spices and food elements. Everything is locking down and most goods providers stop working. From about a month, it's getting harder day by day to find someone ready to help providing essential foods, so i even have to travel twice a week. I live in a small village in Tunisia .
With my situation during The pandemic crisis, i still find time to surf the forum. I have my pc at work and another at home and two tablettes. I use one device to log in but always use the forum offline just to read. I have a lot of another tasks to do online, but during the corona, the forum is my unique activity online until the crisis ends or i stop working as merchant .

I wouldn't say that the lock-down benefited me when it comes to crypto and this forum. I have kids at home and much less time to "foll around" than I had when I was at work. But then again, without kids I would probably be bored at home Grin

Soon you will try to sneak to office to work their in quite atmosphere, but dont do that. The probability of catching the virus is still more than 0, so better keep your guts and stay at home with a tornado of scream an laughter Cheesy

Btw, what are you doing to keep them busy?

No, I would never go to the office if I don't have to. Even if this virus is not that dangerous, I still don't mind the hurricane that I have at home Smiley

Thankfully I live in a house so it's much easier to keep them busy outside in the yard.

It has not tahat much of a benefit. The only benefit I had due to this problem is rest since most of the companies are restricted to operate. This should be a good time to invest and trade but the market situation is becoming more of a problem. The market value of cryptos are having a hard time to recover which makes it difficult to trade. Investing on the other hand is quite crucial because I would probably use the money meant for investment, to suffice my daily needs given that there is a problem with regards to buying the essentials.

I see it more of a burden. Many people are struggling at this moment especially to those countries wherein governments are not that effective to support them at times of such. And with that being said, I cannot enjoy the 'rest' well knowing that there are people who are not comfortable with such situation. Hope it will be solved soon.

However, I would like to use this opportunity to show my sincere concern for those who are already affected by the pandemic, I wish you all quick recovery. One thing I want you to know is that there is nothing without a beginning that does not have an end. There will surely be an end to COVID-19 soon.

Honestly it did not benefit me at all, I cannot go to my work, so many things that you want to do outside but you cannot, we are all at home it's a positive thing that we as family can get together, but in terms of being productive you really cannot, there's no benefit from this pandemic, we all want this thing over as soon as possible.

The situation and subsequent lockdown likely changes people’s habits and priorities, and will do so to a further extend in the coming months. As such, I personally spend somewhat less time on the forum, mostly due to a shift in priorities for the allocates amount of time I spend here, but in addition due to a lack of high spirit to engage too much in posting. It does act as an escape valve in a sense, but reality surpasses virtuality, and I figure that the shift in priorities here will probably affect more those that have family responsibilities, than those that are students.

I agree, it changes my day. However, I am embarrassed to share that this lockdown benifited me in a good way. I have so much time in the forum, I learn and read a lot about crypto. The lockdown affects me in a good way but somehow I can't wish for it to continue. I am disturbed knowing that some people are struggling outside. Some are hungry and can't even go to work. I live in a third world country, and I am not directly affected but that doesn't mean I should turn blind eye with what's happening.

So yeah, it benefited me in a good way, but I hope this will end and everything else will be back to normal soon. I hope people who struggle will receive help in this pandemic. Praying for the frontliners, workers, people who are sick, and those who are hungry and can't stay at home.

So, as a newbie or an already established member, how have you been able to manage your time on this forum?
Not all people are jobless at this time even though there's implementing lockdown. I still have work even though there are some essential establishments forced close, the company that I have been working is a part of the exempted of banning or closing by the government. After my work, I can still manage my time here in the forum reading and sharing ideas while looking for updates status of this COVID-19.

There's nothing have been benefited me during this outbreak of pandemic but fortunately, I have a still source of income that I think I will still survive together with my family. But there is one thing that I worried most and I hope it will never happen. ( Taking care of my self not being infected of COVID-19).

List of positive things due to being lock-down:

I spend more time with my family and specially my daughter.
I have more time to teach her what I want she be taught (for example she already knows ABC and number, but all kids in her kinder garden group knows that, so she repeatedly does study it... Kinds boring for her Smiley )
I can eat home made food, and not fastfood near office or other "quickly-made, quickly-grab garbage"

Negative things due to lock-down:

Hard to work from home. During time I work, she wants to play with me, during my wife works, she wants to play with her Cheesy
Cant concentrate on work while working from home. Task that usually takes 30min, now need minimum of 45min.
Kinda killing routine to be at home all the time.
Salary for March scares me. I guess I wont have any bonuses.
No free time at all. My free time is from 22:00 to 00:00.

It has created several inconveniences for me, but I guess the main benefit is that it has pushed me into focusing on the creation of an off-grid lifestyle. My weekly expenditure has gone down as well.
