I think the money you earned and the money you cashed-out are different. Knowing that cryptocurrency is so volatile that it might change the value in a short time.

usually, I personally can get money in joining a bounty or airdrop of around $1000 or $2000 in a year, and that is apart from the benefits I can get in doing day-to-day trading on the exchange market, and the income in following a bounty certainly cannot be calculated with certainty because of It depends on how many projects we have successfully followed and whether the project is good or not, but in this case the bounty project is a side job that I do, so I am not too worried if there is a bottleneck in my financial income.
It seems that the bonus programs have dwindled and are no longer available to everyone. The best bonus is still the signature programs because it has its own difficulty. I am aware that there are bonus programs available only to premium members that are paid in BTC and the requirement to participate in those programs is very complicated.

2017 was the golden age of bounty hunters, many people made a lot of money that year. This year hasn't been exactly evaluated, the projects now look very good but the final results are still unclear.yes that's the cycle, sometimes we are above, sometimes we are below, in 2017-2018 the bounty is still very much worth it,
but entering 2019 the bounty is decreasing and the prizes are getting less, and 2020 is the period where the bounty ends,

Everyone who worked in 2017 was able to make good money. Unfortunately, this time has passed, and maybe fortunately.

I imagined how most bounty participants and trader who are below the senior rank most especially those who do not know how to choose good/high rewarding projects if they would would have even made up to $1k in the past 1 year. How would they feel if they have nothing meaningful to withdraw at this pandemic period and just looking at their wallet helplessly. How much have you been able to cash out in the past one year.
If that is the income from the bounty, then this year is only slightly, even under 1K in a year. different from 2017, where I can get 3K in 6 months. For me, the bounty is not my main job because the income from bounties is not stable. I have a clothing business that provides a more stable income.

Well, I don’t think it’s worth being sad if you managed to make money this year. How much is another matter, but whatever the amount it is, it is still profit. Personally, I earned a little over $ 1000 this year, is that good for me? Of course yes! For me, this is an excellent income, although there were days before when I earned $ 1000 in one day. Great that you have such a dream and a goal, but do you really believe that you can earn enough on bounties and airdrops to buy a decent house? Specially trying to achieve it this year. If you go through all pages here, you would see that average amount people get from doing bounties is around 1-3k$ per year. I dont know where you live and what are the prices on real estate, but few thousands from bounties wont be even enough to pay for the first payment.
Over the past year indeed we as bounty hunters have made very little money in this forum because at that time the price of bitcoin dropped dratis and many projects were scam so we did not get satisfactory results, but this year the price of bitcoin has come back high and many projects are paying off fully so that we can get satisfactory results.

Scam projects are always there existing, the reason why its hard to choose on what project to invest in because of the thought that we might end up in scam. They are also seems real nowadays for having a convincing roadmap and whitepaper. So I cant blame you for getting tired on joining in bounty, its a hard decision because we know bounty is profitable back in the days that most projects are legit. In my case I dont earn huge but somehow due to my current campaign I was able to earn btc to save for bullrun. For bounty I don't make money, but in other campaign like signature campaign that is paid with bitcoin, I just earn a little amount like more or less $1,000. it's a small amount compared to what I earned during the time when ICO was still popular, but I'm still thankful with that.
