OP, there is a quote that says, "Life is a teacher; the more we live, the more we learn." Human nature's needs and desires are unsatisfying, and that's why people will always keep wanting more despite all they have in their possession.

So, the answer to your question is that there is no knowledge that can create absolute satisfaction in the human quest to know more. As a matter of fact, every person is not the same; we are from different parts of the world, with different cultures and traditions and different ways of doing things, and every day on the forum, we can learn new things from one another.

I remember one day around last year, when a merit source on this forum, I don't want to mention his name, but he said that he doesn't know who an attacker is in football, and as a matter of fact, that was definitely the first day he learned that.

No one knows it all, so we keep learning every day.

Human desire are endless as long as live still exists in them. When you get what you want, and you see some one that has more than you, your life will tend to adjust and want the same thing as the other person. This has nothing to do with jealousy or not satisfied with what you have, it is clearly about how human mind functions and that is how it has been designed to work.

With the ranging hike in price and inflation setting in, there is need for you to look for more money in order to satisfy your wants when the need arises. If your friends don’t buy more bitcoin, they want to remain in the same position as their fiat cannot give them more value for their currency unlike bitcoin that will likely adjust to the state of economy at that point when the need arises.

No man wants to become irrelevant or surpassed by others that’s where the greed for wanting more emerges from. Being an average individual with an average status doesn’t make one seek out competition from others but at the top the competitive level is very high that’s why people with high status seek for more status (power, wealth, properties and assets) to match up the level at the top so they don’t become irrelevant or inferior to others. Nothing is never enough, we are human and we were created to seek for more except if we are yet to achieve a certain level but once achieved we will want to soar higher.

Humans naturally want more, believing that their current level, rank, or position is inappropriate for them. They yearn to rise above their current situation and pursue greater goals, whether they be related to status, riches, power, or knowledge, believing that their current status would never suffice once attained. The same is true with the forum levels; when I first started, I wanted to be a Senior Member, but now that I've attained it, I am seeking for Legendary rank, and I think I'm not the only one who feels this way.


With a thousand merits are you the only one that achieved the milestone? No, we have lots of Legendary rank members with  a thousand plus merit but the one that is easily recognized everywhere is the one with the highest merit point so there you have your little competition for the most merited user. But you should understand that here in the forum everyone just wants to keeps contributing and helping others as it is their duty and while performing their duty the merits keep coming.

This research is wrong, not all men aren't satisfied with what they have, maybe if the research says a majority of men that's when I'll be in support of the research because I know people who are contended with what they have, they mightn't have much but the little that they have and it can sustain them, they're comfortable with it and aren't searching for more actively. Some men are naturally greedy and no matter what they have, they'll always be searching for more. This type of men nothing satisfy them and they are always searching for material things but when it comes to knowledge, knowledge is endless as we'll always need new knowledge as we keep existing.


Wrong, they aren't posting to be merited but postings because their campaigns demand them to (for the spammers) and for the quality users because they want to impact their knowledge to the younger generation. As you get older with your ranks especially legendary ranks on the forum, merits no longer excite you because technically you don't need it anymore although it feels right when your quality contributions on the forum are been rewarded.


This is because Bitcoin has a limited supply and soon the price of Bitcoin will be so high that you won't be able to afford one whole Bitcoin anymore therefore we're meant to seize every opportunity we have to accumulate Bitcoin while the price is still low. Inflation on fiats will keep making things get costlier but we can only be assured of our future by planning it financially today and accumulating Bitcoin is a good way to do that so we can live financially free in the future.

It depends on personality and his ambitions. Not everyone have big goals in their lifes. Some people are happy to be average Joe. Many people are going to their regular job, earning average wage without taking too much responsibilities and just living their average life. They aren't interested to learn something and set higher goals, but often they're first to complain how bad their life is.
While for others it's never enough. Every day they want to learn something new. Same like bilionnaires. It looks that they have more than enough for rest of their life, but their still reach for more. This is how people are just made.
I'm into Bitcoin for maybe 8 years, but I don't feel that I have enough knowledge. Especially when it comes to more complcated technical questions - sometimes I feel like beginner. Even this topic - it's first time when I saw someone used word Insatiability. And now it's already on my dictionary

The problem of man can not be satisfied no matter how they try to pretend as if they are satisfied. Human are always not satisfied and that is their nature the more human grow physically so do they want to grow in wisdom and understanding and also in position and powers and also money. The only time man can be free from being unsatisfied is when they are no more in existence.

We tend to worship whatever has the most power. And since power emerges from the ability to process information, it is natural that we are insatiable to knowledge.

Another reason is our curiosity. From birth, we are inherently inquisitive, endowed with the consciousness to ponder the mysteries of the unknown. Questions like "Why does the grass appear green?" or "Why is the sky blue?" are typical queries a child might pose. Our consciousness compels us to question our existence; "Who created me?", "What is real?", "How did everything come into being?". Provided that we will never know everything, we will always have novel aspects to explore.

As long as life continues, knowledge will also continue to evolve. There will always be the need for improvement as you can already see from human history.  Somethings that seemed fashionable decades ago have gone obsolete as they have been overtaken by improvements. Virtually every aspect of human endeavour is facing the impact of technology, meaning that there is no end to know.

Blockchain technology is no exception to this continuous nature of knowledge.  Various innovations in Bitcoin wallets, mining and others is a simple indication that even the Blockchain is a continuous process that is in need of more innovations to fully harness the opportunities it offers.

Thanks for the clarification, knowledge is something that's never ends and the most interesting part about this is because no knowledge is a waste and everything you learn here can be useful one way or the other so just keep an open mind to the vast knowledge and discussions here because you definitely learn a lot from different users here comprising of crypto knowledge and other fields of life too.

One thing you need to know that, that is how human nature works so you don't need to stress yourself overthinking it, because if you are in their shoes you will also do the same. If you have alot of bitcoin you still be hunger for more so that how things work.

for example you are a body builder and you stop doing some workout you'll see your body losing shape. That you got to keep on hitting the gym, that how it is they are learning more to keep the previous things they know going and expanding it. Because if they stop chasing for more knowledge they would gradually lose their previous ones.

. I'm not actually sure about that, about the hoping for merit stuff is ranks like ours that usually hope for merit. They just post what would benefit others and those that got benefitted may decide to merits them, we can't just say because they are hero or legendary members they don't deserve to be merited.

that's the sprit there's no stopping in accummulating  more Bitcoin. Because the more bitcoin you accumulate the more your profit that why most bitcoin investors focus on using DCA.

Knowledge is endless, and learning is never a waste. Everyone has life goals aligned with their personal targets. Seeking more knowledge helps us improve and broadens our perspective. If someone is content with their current situation, it indicates a lack of plans for the future. Only when you reach a point where progress is impossible should you stop pursuing knowledge, wealth, or power. these form the basic essence of a man

If your main purpose on this forum is to acquire knowledge, don't worry about recognition or others they will surely follow in time. The forum has transformed many who were once newbies  with cryptocurrency and Bitcoin into experts today. You might wonder why some still strive for recognition or stay active, but the truth is, when you gain knowledge, sharing it is important. No one should be selfish about it. If you happen to receive rewards for your valuable knowledge, keep them, even if you have no immediate use.

Lastly, every Bitcoin enthusiast has specific goals for the amount of Bitcoin they aim to acquire before the last one is mined. Bitcoin is a rapidly advancing technology, and everyone wants to reap its benefits in the future.

Sincerely speaking , I have been thinking on how to put up this post and the right board that will be suitable for it.
Insatiability has been one of the features of an individual and that has increased my level of curiosity because I don’t know when all the problems of men will be dully solved and that was why I came up with this topic (how much knowledge is enough to satisfy an individual).

Research has it that no man is satisfied with what he has . I also went further to check the profile of most prominent men that have existed and also existing and I realised that most of them have enough money yet the are still searching for more , they have power and yet they are still fighting to get more power ,they have assets yet they are still buying more properties, and I ask again when will they be satisfied?.

Additionally, I have seen so many academia , professors , yet they are still fighting for more knowledge, and the question here is when will they be satisfied?.

Even in this forum I have also seen high ranked members who are staff and with thousands of posts and merits yet they also post every day hoping to be merited as well , and the question again here Is when will they be satisfied?.

Finally , I have also seen my friends bitcoin wallet with so many coins in dollars yet they buy bitcoin every day , trade everyday , HODL coins everyday , so the question here is when will they be satisfied?
However, I will be very glad if someone can highlight more on this and educate me more thanks .
