Sometimes having no money for a start up can actually be a blessing in disguise. Maybe there are some things that you are ought to learn which have not really done hence you will need to do them to learn and get the experience so that you can control or handle them well when it starts coming in. All these put together are the supposed experience one needs before going into a particular activity.  For instance before an organization put up notice for vacancy, there must be some terms and conditions to fulfill before you think of applying for the position that is same applicable to life principles just as OP has said. All the years you took time to get prepared for the journey ahead and now you are reaping the fruit of your labor. Those techniques you learnt I believe are helping you now to forge ahead.
So therefore, no experience is a waste of time.

I think the reason for this is that @OP is desperate to have extra source of fund if not looking for the main source of funds.  The main motivation why many of us here are giving and trying our best to learn and engage in the Bitcoin economy.

Ops point could have been better understood if he said not investing in altcoins instead of saying Bitcoin, because not investing in Bitcoin in the early stage is more of a disadvantage than it is an advantage unless you bought at the all time high, but aside from that, it's 100% better to be early that late.

What makes Bitcoin different from others is the fact that with Bitcoin even a newbie with no knowledge of Bitcoin can simply buy and hold Bitcoin for the long term without much fear or risk of losing everything, but the same can not be said of altcoins, most altcoins we know before are no longer available in the market today because of one or two things which as basically the characteristic of altcoins.

You have shown the difference when investing in bitcoin vs altcoins. But for those who are not knowledgeable about bitcoin, buying bitcoin at a high price and holding it for long is impossible. Newbies will be shocked and panic if they see bitcoin dumped and lose 70%-80%, they will also sell it in panic and heavy loss. Having money without knowledge should not invest in bitcoin, investing without knowledge is like gambling, only investing with what you understand about it.

I like this story and so much to take from it. Recently so many negative news coming from the crypto world regarding scams, suicide and what not. People are going nuts about investing their money into Bitcoin and they think its get rich quick scheme. They are literally taking loans, swiping their credit cards, lending money from friends and family, and some I read using pensions from their mum and dad.

In the end when situation gets out of hand due to the volatility they start losing money and get stressed about it. Sooner whole investment gets out of hands and they get no choice but ruin their own life and relations.

It's so true that if you don't have money then you should not be thinking about investing. First have proper accounting. Get yourself proper balance sheet where you know how much money you can afford to lose and spend on investments. That could drive proper channel. Smiley

If we have money, but we lack knowledge. it could be because of our lack of knowledge that we act rashly just to indulge our passions and then lose and regret. So it's better to add insight first for our own good. Money is needed, but don't rush just because you want to get rich quick. Because to be successful it takes a process. and like you said that the money will definitely come.

I agree with you on the part that you get more zeal to learn whent you have the taste and hunger for it and is better to learn when you have not achieve any thing like financial independence yet because that is the only time you can pay close attention.

Although money is never a distraction rather more of an advantage because I won't say if you have bought some Bitcoin and held it in that your wallet since then at least you will be at a gain by now.
But then now you are ready to buy Bitcoin but Bitcoin price is high right now compared to some time ago was the price was way below the $30k price which will reduce your purchasing power right now.

I agree, with the aid of money, we can hasten our learning just like what the earlier reply on this thread stated.  With money, we can have a first-hand experience of everything we had read and learned.  We can easily get acquainted with investment in Bitcoin, mining Bitcoin, or start-up businesses that accet BTC if we have enough funds for one of them.

But as @OP stated having no money is not a hindrance in participating in the Bitcoin economy instead, it can be a motivating factor and as a challenge for everyone.

Yes, the same to me, like the first time when I was to bitcoin, i don't have money to invest, but I have more serious than seriousness to go deeper in Bitcoin investments to lean more basic knowledge concerning bitcoins and cryptocurrency,  about bitcoin and to achieve my financial freedom or financial goals, and when I have  known some basic knowledge concerning bitcoin but I don't have the money to invest until that day when day send money to me for feeding that is when I applied for this strategy with a little amount of money, the DCA pattern which directly related to people who don't have big capital to buy. And that is how I started the journey to invest.

That's right! when you have all the basic knowledge concerning bitcoins and cryptocurrencies, every move you make will be easy and productive and when the time comes you are about to buy your first bitcoins, you won't have that anxiety of looking countless times on the crypto market because you already know the drill and the common basic things about it. That's why knowledge is precious, especially in this field where there are lots of scammers that are taking advantage of people that are not familiar with the crypto market and how it works. when you look at the scam victims' posts you see that they don't have enough knowledge and they learned their lesson the hard way because they rush to invest rather than to investigate first.

I also have to admit that sometimes not having money to invest early is also an advantage. Because we will have a lot of time to learn and research about it before making a final decision. If we rush to invest through advertising or someone's recommendation and do not have any knowledge about it, it will not benefit us.
I also used to lose a lot of money investing in Ponzi projects, I didn't do any research and just focused on the profit I would get. And the price I have to pay is to lose all the money invested.

If you don't have the money yet, maybe because you are jobless or still in school, do not let that be the reason to be out of Bitcoin, there is more you can learn that will help you in your crypto journey.

Money is coming, but be prepared by learning about Bitcoin, you will be in safer hands with the knowledge you would have acquired.
I think that you would still not mind buying bitcoin at that time, but everything that you did (installing a wallet and experimenting with mining), you most likely would have done anyway, since one does not interfere with the other. People who want to achieve something tend to learn something new, but this can be done in parallel with the purchase of bitcoin. If, nevertheless, the situation is really such that there is no money to buy at all, then you need to change something in life, money will not come into your life just like that. I was also a teenager and a student, and I can say that there is almost always an opportunity to earn something if you are not afraid of hard work.

It's true that not having money to invest in Bitcoin can be a blessing in disguise. Instead of focusing solely on making money, people can take the time to learn about Bitcoin and the underlying technology, which can be very valuable in the long run. Furthermore, with a deeper understanding of technology, people can make more informed decisions about investing in the future. Therefore, instead of being discouraged by not having enough money to invest in Bitcoin, people can take advantage of this time to deepen their understanding of the technology and the market.

I agree with you because by understanding investing in bitcoin well, they can find something that can make them able to invest in it even with a small amount of money. That gap is what they can use to find hidden blessings from bitcoin and who knows, they can be luckier than other people who have money. But not many people want to try hard because most of us just want it to be easy.

You're extremely fortunate to have learned more about bitcoin before investing in it. The knowledge you gained initially will help you gain a better understanding of the market and determine the best trading strategy. Many people never had the opportunity to learn about cryptocurrency before investing, and as a result, they leave the market in rage and lose a lot of money. Even if it is not bitcoin or cryptocurrency, it is always advisable and ideal to have a thorough understanding of an investment before putting your money into it. Delay in investment is preferable to losing all of your money if you invested too soon due to FOMO.

This post will be extremely be useful to anyone who joins this forum and just wants to learn how to buy their first bitcoin or tell the forum how much bitcoin they’ve just purchased. If they can see this, it will reduce their desire to just start buying and instead want to learn and have some skills to guide them later after purchasing.

Live with peace and enjoy life!
You are right in there. Money should not be the first thing to acquire but certainly knowledge and skills. Invest in yourself first before you invest for profits. And once you have that, you will have easy money coming your way. However, when it comes to investing, it’s still a basic thing to do to invest cautiously. Especially if you have less money to invest, at least you should be avoiding creating mistakes as that will lose the money that you put in.

I agree with what you said OP, if we don't have the money or capital to enter the world of cryptocurrency then it's better for us to learn more about it and not waste time just regretting, complaining or not being confident.
Glad to hear your story OP, there is a lesson to be learned when you are not in too much of a rush to get Bitcoins. Luckily you can direct or use your inability to motivate you to learn more about crypto.
Money is indeed important and in my opinion it has become one of the main needs of everyone, we definitely need money to buy anything and provide for our daily life, even to get Bitcoin through trading or investing we still need money.
But sometimes having a lot of money will also bring out bad human traits, which will make us sometimes greedy and act stupid.

Sometimes rich people who have a lot of money but have little or no knowledge may be easily deceived and cannot take advantage of their wealth.
But people who have extensive knowledge may be better able to seek and see every opportunity that exists to make a profit.
But in my opinion besides having money we also have to have a lot of knowledge, so if we can balance having both it will be better.

I see how some newbies are complaining about not having enough money to invest in Bitcoin, some times not having money is a blessing in the crypto space, if I had money years ago when I knew about crypto I would have made all the possible mistakes in the book, and that would have cost me a lot.

I had no access to money when I knew about Bitcoin, I had the desire to acquire many Bitcoin but I have no way, instead of moving on with my life I kept myself busy, reading and reading about Bitcoin, installed my first Bitcoin wallet on a Pentium 4 PC, I knew about Proof of work, I tried mining for the first time using a dual-core PC ( second PC ), if I have enough money to invest I wouldn't have had time for all this learning.

I got so calm, because what is there to rush about? I have no money anyways, since that time learning became my first priority.

I get your point, persons with money would just want to rush into the system without 1st analysing or properly carrying out a research on what they're going in for.

Congrats and way to go for finding the best path for you at the tough times of your life, you deserve every win you have achieved up to this moment. It is great that you are sharing your experience and thoughts to help out others which is truly appreciated.

One thing to make clear though so as to not confuse newbies that my come across this post of yours is that the drive for learning about something has many reasons or triggers and one's financial status is only one of the many out there. Regardless of one's financial status, one should always strive for new knowledge and self-improvement rather than letting one's self be stagnant.

So, to the newbies out there if you somehow stumble upon this, keep in mind that you should not look for justifications or reasons just to learn about something new or improve your current knowledge about something (not just about bitcoin or any crypto currency). Instead, be hungry for more self-improvement.

If you do this, I promise you that all the good things that would come along the wisdom that you have built up over time will serve as the best justification for all that effort.

-Great post OP.

That's a good point of view. It's great that you didn't waste your time and invested your time wisely learning more about bitcoin.
That itself is a better achievement than investing in bitcoin directly. Besides that, another perspective is that if you would have invested few years back then you would have bought at a higher price than what it is now.
So not having money back then was good for you because you can buy more BTC at a lower price now.
