On 2017 I spent 3 - 5 times a day to check the price of bitcoin on the market and yes that was a stressful especially when the price slump.
Now I only look the market 3 times a week, but if the market begins to crash again then I stop looking at the market for days until everything recovers because that can brought a feel of anxious.

how often do you check BTC price and how to cope with stress associated with this?  I am checking it every few hours and it drives me crazy and makes me anxious. Is there anybody in a similar situation and how do you cope with this?

PS: I was trying to do this once a month, but I think, I missed the beginning of the bear market in January this year because of this.

Thanks,
Mike

For me, I check it every couple of days; sometimes, around twice or trice a week. I don't need to follow the market that closely because I don't do much trading ventures. I mostly do passive investments like hodling and bounty campaigns, so I don't have to really be updated that much with what's happening in the market. Although, I check it regularly to be updated with the value of the coins I hold.

As you know the Bitcoin market is complex, risky and dangerous. When you check the price of bitcoin down you have to be firm about the psychology you determine long-term investment and not be down today morale btc tomorrow may rise so why do not you automatically yourself?Yes, this game is not for the weak and the indecisive. When you trade, there must be a hole, myself also fly thousands of dollars in just one night. It is important that you understand the market and be determined. The next time you see Bitcoin showing signs of going down, you can jump to another trade that is showing signs of slight fluctuations.  Grin

In the crypto market you have to be willing to hold for the long term and not let the short term drops stress you out.  Checking prices every hour will really mess with your mind if you are prone to stress and may lead to panic attacks.  I had a few friends that invested in crypto and lost a fair amount so far on paper and they are nervous wrecks that are about to sell.

Checking the price of the market prices will always be depending how you earn your cryptocurrency, if you are daily trader then you need to check it always but for me, i hold coins and waiting for the price to grow because i have a day job.

For me I check the BTC price from time to time so I will not lose what I invest in BTC so I will not leave behind the price when it pump so when you invest at dump price you will trade it right away when it pump so your investment will have a good earning trading is the fastest way to earn a good profit here in crypto market. It is to risky to trade because of its number if you did not trade it right away then you might wait for another pump of the price you are not still lose if you did not trade it right away. You can still hodl it and wait for the good price of the coin. There are also many ways on how you can make your investment big not only in trading.

I check the price only when it's necessary. Deal with the stress could be really hard, but things gets better as you gain experience in the cryptocurrencies ecosystem.
I mostly check bitcoin price once a day because I think it is enough. There is no need to check the price several times in a day. There are no huge pumps and dumps in the price on daily basis. If the price falls it will increase your headache. To avoid this headache don’t check the price every minute as many people do. It is just in vain and will not reduce your tension.
I check the bitcoin price just one time in 24 hours. I think it is enough because now the price is on the track and there are no huge pumps and dumps in the price. Very small volatility in the price occurs on daily basis. There is no need to check the price every hours or even less than that. It will increase your headache if the price goes down.
It is good to have a look to the market once a day because it will help you keep calm and will not stress you at the time of falling price, I think now is the best time to have patience and don’t go to check the price again and again, patience is the key of success so try to be and hold your coin for long term so it will not make you worry about the market situations, so I am sure soon we are going to have good profit out of our bitcoin investment no need to keep on checking the price all the time.

I only check btc price once a day or maybe every other day. It is less stressing especially if the price is going down. Now Im planning to check it twice a week or maybe once a week to avoid stress. I cope up with stress by thinking that the price will soon go up and everything will just follow.
Yeah to avoid stress checking bitcoin price once a day is enough. Don’t be panic about the price regularly after some time. Try to analyze the market trend and decide about your investment. Bitcoin is now growing again and I am sure till the end of this month it will reach to $8000. Now the market is green and investors are happy to see the price going upwards.

It depends on how you earn cryptocurrency, if you are a trader then obviously you need to look at the market price as always but if you just want to hold your coins and wait for the price to grow in a very high value then its always better to wait.

For long term investors you should not be worrying much because your horizon would be 3-5  years and in that their would be many rise and fall. For short term traders their could be some panic mode as sometimes it falls badly. But you need to have patience in order to trade.
time and effort can v=be done here that you have to be more careful for what you may ever have to do with like you are taking to be more practical instead of what some wasted of your time can be made of it is best that you can also take an effort for what you may ever have to do like patience is a virtue that most people cant apply on.

As for me , I don't want to check the prices of my hodling so often. It would be helpful if I would be just surprise by the upcoming prices of it. I think it is risky if we'll check the market price often because it might lead us to panicking and doubt about hodling. Patience is what we need so just check when it is necessary.

to see and determine the bitcoin price is you can see from some news in the media or in bitcoin.com if there is good news then bitcoin can go up and when there is bad news then bitcoin will collapse its price.
Easy way to check BTC to USD in Google and in 5 seconds you will see the price. I look two times a day like medicine because I am very keen in bitcoin up and down. I daily count how much I lost and how much I won this day. Many people check bitcoin price daily no matter they invest in bitcoin or not. Everyone is interested in future cryptocurrency.

Price checking is normal. You cannot predict anything if you check the price 100 times daily. The real thing is this that you must have the ability to take your, trading, holding and selling decisions on the right time. You will become successful trader when you realize that now I should sell and now I should buy more. By this way you can make huge profits.
